In June of 2005, the University of Kentucky launched a redefined, one-year MBA program. The program takes place over 43 weeks, starting from July through June.

In the first module, the Rapid Immersion Module, students learn the basics of business, leadership, and teamwork. The core of business education continues in the Business Fundamentals Module where students receive 130 hours in Finance, DIS, Marketing, Human Resources Management, and Economics.

The heart of the one-year MBA program is built around three key business processes, new product development, supply chain management, and mergers and acquisitions. Over a 25-week timeframe, students work alongside corporate firms on business projects identified by their Project Connect Executive.

The Advanced Learning Bundles give students an opportunity to select three electives over a five week timeframe in a finance or marketing track. Capstone Week completes the MBA curriculum focusing on a key current topic with guest lecturers and workshops.
