In Giving 2.0, Andreessen will share how students can strategically invest their money, time, expertise, and network for maximum social impact. As part of the course, students will formulate an Individual Giving Action Plan, where they identify how their resources and talents can be applied to helping nonprofits. In addition, students will conduct a detailed assessment on specific nonprofits using a variety of metrics, with selected charities eligible for grant funding. The course will be taught through lecture and guest speaker videos, workbook activities and quizzes (though no final exam will be given). Students can also interact through virtual meeting groups devoted to specific topics.

Review: No reviews.

Additional Note: After conducting detail analysis of specific nonprofits, students will nominate and vote on which ones receive funding from a $100,000 grant from the Learning By Giving Foundation for this specific course.
