The Simon Graduate School full-time MBA degree requires 67 hours of study consisting of a total of 20 classes (9 core required courses and 11 electives) and an additional 3-credit course on Communicating Business Decisions. Entrants in September complete the MBA course requirements in six 10-week academic quarters with an internship in the summer between the first and second years of study. The core curriculum is completed over the first three quarters of the program.

The school’s Frame, Analyze, and Communicate (F.A.Ct.) curriculum equips students with the skills to frame a business problem, analyze it, and communicate solutions. The school introduced two required core courses (Framing & Analyzing Business Problems 1 and 2) to teach students how to approach solving unstructured problems in a logical and empirical way. The Communicating Business Decisions course trains students in the principles and standards for written and oral communication needed for business.
