Professor you most admire: My colleague Mark Nelson at Cornell. Mark is an amazing teacher.

Most memorable moment as a professor: The most memorable moment was my very first day of teaching accounting information systems as a doctoral student. I just couldn’t believe I made it!

“If I weren’t a b-school professor…” I probably would be a professional poker player living in Macau.

Professor Yeung’s research analyzes the correlation between accounting information and economic fundamentals. He also studies the economic and behavioral factors that influence the ways market participants use accounting information and the ways managers provide that information. Yeung has won multiple awards for research and teaching excellence. He is a former president of the Chinese Accounting Professors’ Association of North America (CAPANA), and he is on the program committee for the 2014 MIT Asia Conference in Accounting.
