Wharton’s New Record GMAT Score

ONE IN FIVE STUDENTS FROM CONSULTING

One in five students (exactly 20%) came to Wharton from the consulting industry, exactly the same as the year earlier. The other sectors which increased their representation among Wharton’s new class was non-profit and consumer products. Students who had worked for the government, the military and non-profits rose to 13% from 11%. Students who had experience in consumer products, retail, healthcare and energy also increase by two percentage points to 12% from 10%.

Another surprised buried in the numbers? An increase in the number of students willing to go for a dual law and business degree. Wharton said it enrolled 19 students this year in its JD/MBA program, up from just 13 a year ago.
