New Case Competition Attracts Top Schools

The University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School presents a case competition called the “Real Estate Development Challenge,” with 16 teams from top MBA and real estate programs, and won last year by a team from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.

The University of Texas McCombs School of Business also holds a real estate case competition, the National Real Estate Challenge, coming in November, and won last year by Columbia University.

The UCLA Anderson School this year will hold its second sports business case competition, which brings together MBA and law students, and was won last year by a Harvard team. And for the first time, Anderson held an entertainment business case competition, in January, featuring teams from 11 schools, and won by a Kellogg team.

Annually in January, Deloitte Consulting and the Deloitte Foundation present the MBA National Case Competition, won this year by a team from Kellogg.
