Asked by email to comment on the latest MBA CSEA findings, Hendricks writes, “The continued year-over-year rise in a traditional MBA role such as a consulting is an indication of a strong economy. With regards to tech hiring, MBA and master’s programs are more aware of the growing need to prepare students for technology careers, and have therefore developed programming and services to help them succeed in those roles. The growing the tech sector is also an indication of the value graduate business education plays for those types of companies. As startups continue to mature and grow, there is an increased need for business-minded professionals to join their teams.”
