Tips For Military MBA Applicants (Esp. Non-Pilots, Non-SEALs)

Tyler is a first-generation U.S. Army captain, with a 710 GMAT with a 3.77 GPA from a state school with a major in political science. He’s racked up considerable leadership experience in the Army, at one point serving as the operations manager for a major fort with more than 6oo soldiers.

He’s hoping to get an MBA to use the degree to transition into civilian life, preferably a shot at a rotation program for a large consumer products company. His target schools? Wharton, Kellogg, Tuck, Haas, Johnson, and Foster. What are his chances?

In this Fridays With Sandy webinar, HBSGuru.com founder Sandy Kreisberg provides odds and guidance on how Tyler should position himself to increase the odds of an admit at his target schools.
