Why did you choose this school’s online MBA program? The tricky part was that I only wanted to earn my MBA from Syracuse University and I live in South Florida. Thankfully, Syracuse offers a unique online MBA program, which provides a hybrid experience of both live, interactive classrooms online and in-person residencies around the globe.

What was your favorite part of being in an online MBA program? It gave me the feeling of truly being a part of the “Orange” culture while still maintaining my career and personal life in Florida.

What was the most surprising thing about an online learning environment? It was the hardest thing I’ve ever done, but also the most rewarding. I can’t wait to see my professors and classmates at graduation and continue those friendships for years to come.

How has your online education helped you in your current job? A few years ago, my company invited me to join their leadership development program designed to “groom” the leaders of tomorrow as a part of the company’s overarching succession plan. By pursuing my MBA I am in a better position myself for greater opportunities and have gained a more holistic understanding of leadership in business.
