Familiar Programs & Some Surprises In New Ranking Of Entrepreneurship MBAs

PITCHBOOK’S BEST MBAS FOR FEMALE FOUNDERS

PitchBook’s ranking also measures top undergraduate and MBA programs for female entrepreneurs. The top three schools for female founders is the same as its overall ranking – Harvard, Stanford, Wharton. Columbia University rose from sixth best overall in last year’s rank to the fourth best this time around.

Harvard’s 343 female founders created 325 companies raising $17.9 billion in capital. The top funded companies were Grab ($10.1 billion), Rent The Runway ($491 million), Everly Health ($466 million), Nextdoor ($452 million), and Cloudflare ($404 million.)

Second-ranked Stanford has 218 female founders with 208 companies and $9.7 billion in raised capital. The top foreign school was INSEAD (No. 7) with 82 female founders, 77 companies and $972 million raised.
