Plain and simple, Leo is a sales guy. He sold cars for Tesla. He sold solar panels for Sunrun, and he now sells commercial and residential real estate for Coldwell Banker and Compass.
He earned his undergraduate degree in finance at The College of New Jersey, with a 3.6 GPA. Leo has a 322 GRE score to submit with his applications to B-school.
Yet, this 26-year-old professional in Boston is aiming high, setting his sights on Harvard Business School, Wharton, MIT Sloan, Yale, Columbia, and Cornell, with Babson College as his nearby safety school.
He’s an impressive professional, having lived in Portugal, Germany, Hong Kong, and Taiwan and traveled to 35 countries. Leo studied abroad in Germany. He’s also a Marathon finisher, a weight lifter in the 1,000-pound club, and
into martial arts.
In this episode of Friday’s With Sandy, HBSGuru.com founder Sandy Kreisberg and Poets&Quants Editor-in-Chief John A. Byrne advise Leo to choose a different set of schools to achieve his ambition to do a fin-tech startup in the real estate space.
