The cultural and professional diversity within our smaller cohort fosters close connections, enabling authentic and impactful learning experiences. This unique blend of perspectives ensures a rich and dynamic educational environment, crucial for my growth over the next year.

 Your MBA is known for innovation, business and technology. Has the program lived up to its reputation? What advice would you give to future students to help them thrive in the early months of the program? Absolutely, the MBA program has exceeded its reputation, seamlessly integrating innovation, business, and technology. The curriculum, professors, and networking opportunities encourage exploration across diverse industries and roles. A key piece of advice for incoming students: while the program offers abundant workshops and events, it’s okay not to attend everything. Prioritize and make the most of the opportunities you choose to engage in to avoid feeling overwhelmed.

Aside from your classmates and location, what was the key part of Imperial College Business School’s MBA programming that led you to choose this business school and why was it so important to you?  Beyond classmates and location, the decisive factor in choosing Imperial College Business School was its distinctive approach to practical business education. The emphasis on project-based and immersive learning set it apart. The robust entrepreneurship ecosystem, exemplified by initiatives like The Enterprise Lab, was crucial. It offers a unique opportunity to learn from founders at various stages, providing access to a network of potential investors—an invaluable resource for my aspirations as an entrepreneur.

What has been your first impression of the Imperial College Business School MBA students and alumni you’ve met so far. Tell us your best Imperial story so far. My first impression of Imperial College Business School’s MBA students and alumni has been overwhelmingly positive. The cohort is not only exceptionally intelligent but also remarkably friendly, creating a close-knit community in a short time. One memorable experience was celebrating my 30th birthday in the college bar with my classmates. It exemplified the strong bonds we’ve formed and stands out as a highlight of my time at Imperial so far.

What course, club or activity excites you the most at Imperial College Business School? The Imperial Sports Business Careers Club is particularly exciting for me as its president. Exploring opportunities in the sports industry and related fields like health, nutrition, wellness, analytics, and sports marketing aligns with my interests. Collaborating with my team on this venture is something I look forward to.

Additionally, being part of the Imperial Men’s Squash Team has been an excellent stress buster. It not only allows me to unwind but also provides the chance to connect with friendly individuals outside the Business School, enhancing my overall experience.
 

Describe your biggest accomplishment in your career so far: My most significant career accomplishment was in 2021 when Dharma Productions, the largest production house in India, approached me to produce a song for a major Bollywood film. This marked a pivotal moment in my journey as a music producer. Another notable achievement was producing music for an Apple campaign that garnered 32 million views, showcasing the impact of my work on a global scale.

What do you hope to do after graduation (at this point)? After graduation, my aspiration is to pursue a career as a Product Manager in the tech industry.

Whether personal or professional, emphasize long-term goals over short-term returns on investment. Highlight the unique aspects of your experience and journey that you bring to the classroom, showcasing the valuable perspectives you contribute to the program.

Describe your biggest accomplishment as an MBA student so far? My most significant accomplishment as an MBA student stems from my atypical background as an artist. Successfully navigating and excelling in subjects like Business Analytics and Finance, despite my unconventional career path, stands out as a major achievement. It reflects my commitment to learning and adapting in diverse academic domains within the MBA program.
