Undergraduate School and Major: National Law School of India University; B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) Most Recent Employer and Job Title: Reliance Industries Limited; Legal Consultant (M&A) Aside from your classmates, what was the key part of the Indian School of Business MBA programming that led you to choose this school and why was it so important to you? The one thing that appealed to me the most about ISB specifically was the diversity among the cohort – I’ve had the privilege of studying with people from almost every conceivable professional background, and have witnessed first-hand how this diversity can exponentially improve the learning experience. What has been your favourite course or extracurricular activity at the Indian School of Business? What has been the most important lesson that you have learned from it? One of my favourite courses at ISB so far has been the Strategy course. Outside the obvious academic benefits, this course really helped me learn to organize my thoughts better and approach problems in a more structured manner. What makes Hyderabad such as great place to earn your MBA?: Hyderabad is a beautiful city (and the biryani is a giant plus!). ISB is located near the Financial District and frequently hosts incredible large-scale events, which provide the opportunity to meet and learn from industry leaders from all walks of life. Describe your biggest accomplishment in your career so far: I think my biggest accomplishment has been managing intense work commitments (including a complex due diligence), while simultaneously preparing for the GMAT and taking care of myself living alone during the pandemic. As hectic as this was, I believe it made me much better at multi-tasking and taught me the importance of being able to prioritize my work. Describe your biggest accomplishment as an MBA student so far: As a lawyer, my coursework at ISB has largely comprised subjects that were far outside my comfort zone. Being able to study and do well in these subjects (most of which require exponentially more math than I’m used to!) has been a challenge. However, I’ve enjoyed every step of the way and am grateful to be surrounded by so many amazing friends who’ve helped me whenever I needed it. What is your class’s favourite hangout away from school? Why do you gather there? There are many places where my friends and I like to hang out after class, although the Subko café near campus is one of our favourites because of its amazing food, great ambience, and just its proximity to campus. What do you hope to do after graduation? A large part of why I chose to do my MBA is because I wanted to better understand how businesses function. I would love to continue the learning process by working in a consulting role after graduation. DON’T MISS: MEET THE INDIAN SCHOOL OF BUSINESS PGP CLASS OF 2025
