UCLA Anderson is founded on the Three Pillars: Share Success, Think Fearlessly, and Drive Change. Which pillar resonates most with you and why? I resonate most with “Think Fearlessly” because all the important lessons I have learned in life have come from moments where I pushed past my fear and went outside my comfort zone.

What makes Los Angeles such a great place to earn an MBA? I think Los Angeles is a great city to earn an MBA because whatever interests someone has, whether it be the outdoors, great food, music, arts, and much more, Los Angeles has a community to meet those interests. Last, but not least, the weather is amazing!

Aside from your classmates and location, what was the key part of UCLA Anderson’s MBA programming that led you to choose this business school and why was it so important to you? I chose UCLA Anderson because of its highly ranked finance course offerings available to students. As a JD/MBA, I wanted to combine my knowledge of business law with a strong foundation in financial technical skills, which the Fink Center for Finance allows me to do while at UCLA Anderson.

What course, club or activity excites you the most at UCLA Anderson? I’m excited about taking Takeovers, Restructuring, and Corporate Governance because I want to transition into restructuring investment banking after graduation. Also, I’m looking forward to interacting with the Investment Finance Association because of the various technical workshops and recruiting events the club puts on.

What is your unique quality that will enable you to make a big contribution to the Class of 2026? My unique quality of resilience will help me add value to my fellow classmates and to the Class of 2026.

Describe your biggest accomplishment in your career so far: I think there are a lot of accomplishments I could choose from, but I think coaching and leading a men’s college tennis team and making an impact on my players not just on the court, but off the court is the biggest accomplishment of my career so far.

What do you hope to do after graduation (at this point)? I hope to transition into restructuring investment banking after graduation.
