Description: This course covers how to deliver effective persuasive presentations. Drawing from resources ranging from historical speeches to TED Talks, students will learn how to write speeches that connect with listeners. They will also learn various vocal methods and movements designed to reinforce the message and hold an audience’s attention. The course concludes with students making a speech to be reviewed by their peers. After six weeks, participants will be able to speak with confidence and conviction in public.
