Working with Jenifer was truly life-changing. She was not only an amazing coach, but also a great mentor, guide, and friend who stood by me through one of the most uncertain and challenging times in my life.
Thanks to Jenifer’s unwavering support, I was admitted to both Georgetown and Columbia—the only two schools I applied to—and even received a scholarship from Georgetown. This fall, I’ll be starting my journey at Georgetown. More than just getting me in, Jenifer made me believe in myself.
When I first started, I was lost, unsure of my path. I began with MBA applications but soon realized my true passion lay elsewhere. Jenifer supported me through every moment of doubt, helping me reflect, refine my goals, and ultimately pursue my dream with confidence.
She also offered game-changing advice, like reaching out to Admissions Offices directly, which saved me time and helped me focus on schools that truly fit me.
My experiences getting admitted into both programs I applied for was a testament to Jenifer being an incredible guide for anyone navigating grad school. I could not have done this without her, and I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for not just expert guidance, but someone who genuinely believes in you every step of the way.
Working with Melissa has been a transformative experience. Her coaching style is refreshingly direct and personalized. She invests time in understanding your unique story and aspirations, which allows her to provide tailored, insightful guidance. What sets Melissa apart is her unwavering commitment to bringing out the best in her clients. She’s not afraid to challenge you or point out areas that need improvement, always with the goal of elevating your application to its highest potential. Her feedback is clear and actionable, striking a perfect balance between providing direction and encouraging independent thought. Melissa’s approach pushed me out of my comfort zone in the most productive ways. She didn’t spoon-feed answers but rather guided me to discover my own strengths and articulate them compellingly. This process led me to produce some of my finest writing in years, particularly in my essays. Her method is not just about crafting a strong application; it’s about self-discovery and personal growth. Melissa’s coaching helped me uncover aspects of my experiences and skills that I hadn’t fully appreciated before, allowing me to present a more authentic and impactful version of myself. I credit Melissa for not only improving my application but also for enhancing my self-awareness and communication skills. Her influence extends beyond the application process – the insights gained through our work together will continue to benefit me in my professional journey. For anyone seeking a coach who will truly invest in your success and push you to reach your full potential, Melissa is an outstanding choice. Her guidance has been invaluable, and I’m deeply grateful for her role in my application journey and final acceptance into INSEAD EMBA. Thank you, Melissa!
Working with Jonathan has been game changing for me. From day one, his commitment to deeply understanding my career goals and motivations set the tone for an incredibly productive collaboration. He didn’t just help me revise my essays—he helped me crystalize exactly why an MBA is important for me and where I want to steer my career in the long run.
That early investment in my goals paid off in spades. My essay writing process was faster and more focused, and every draft—from my very first brainstorming session to the final polished piece—felt authentically me, bolstered by his challenges to dig deeper. Beyond essays, Jonathan guided me through interviews, provided real-time feedback, and was always available when I needed advice or a quick pep talk.
His mentorship style is authentic and transparent. He pushed me to think more deeply, challenged me in exactly the right ways, and never let me settle for “good enough.” I can honestly say I grew both as an applicant and a professional because of his guidance. I’m genuinely pleased with the entire experience and look forward to staying in touch with him for many years to come.
If you’re looking for an MBA consultant who will not only sharpen your application but also help you clarify your ambitions and boost your confidence, Jonathan is absolutely the right choice.
Having Karen guide me on my journey to HBS made all the difference. Balancing a demanding job with the application process felt manageable with her support, even with a 9-hour time zone difference between us. Karen came highly recommended by a friend, and from our first conversation, her genuine care, honesty, and professionalism stood out.
Initially, I planned to apply in Round 2 for the Class of 2026, but Karen’s honest feedback convinced me to wait until Round 1 for the Class of 2027 to improve my test scores. Her integrity was evident—she prioritized my success above all else.
Karen guided me through multiple test attempts, recommended helpful resources, and helped me craft essays that told my authentic story. She also encouraged me to step outside my comfort zone, from visiting schools to building connections I might not have pursued otherwise. She listened, guided gently, and always respected my perspective.
Karen is not just a consultant but also a mentor and friend. I can’t recommend her highly enough.
As an international student with an untraditional MBA applicant profile, Heidi was the perfect consultant to work with on my application. Her extensive experience with business school, combined with her personal approach and care for my own specific application helped me articulate my story and polish my message. Without her leadership and support I would have never gotten accepted to my dream MBA program at Columbia Business School. Would recommend to any candidate of any background (definitely not strictly Americans!)
Jonathan is a true coach who knows exactly when to challenge you to dig deeper and when to let your ideas flow. I first heard about him from my brother—now a Yale MBA candidate—who recommended I work with Fortuna for my applications. Even though my brother and I have very different personalities and professional backgrounds, Jonathan’s approach felt seamlessly tailored to my own goals and working style. He not only saved me valuable time but also helped me develop an authentic narrative that highlighted who I am in the best possible light. His emphasis on understanding how my formative experiences shaped my career journey allowed me to present a clear, cohesive picture of myself throughout my applications.
Jonathan’s career coaching expertise also helped me think beyond admissions and envision my long-term aspirations. He turned the application process into a deeply reflective experience, guiding me to articulate who I want to become and where I want to go. I consistently felt that he was invested in my future beyond the immediate goal of securing an MBA spot, and his support enabled me to present my best self every step of the way.
Over the past 8 months, I worked with Karen through every step of the MBA application process and was admitted to 3 of my dream schools within the M7 – something I didn’t think was possible from the outset. While I have a well-rounded background, her attention to detail and care allowed me to paint an authentic picture of what makes me unique, identify synergies and consistent themes throughout various aspects of my life, and maximize every ounce of potential of my application.
From strategizing my story and school choices, crafting a business-school-specific resume, tactically selecting and preparing my recommenders, brainstorming and refining my essays, reviewing application detail, to providing mock interviews with actionable feedback, Karen stands out for offering top-notch coaching across every aspect of the process, not just one step like essays or interviews. Furthermore, by being involved in every phase, she became deeply familiar with my strengths, which helped her provide valuable brainstorming support when I got stuck on open-ended essays or needed talking points for interviews (some of which had very distinct styles).
As someone who has worked in the admissions industry for years and pursued an MBA herself, Karen has a deep understanding of MBA life and the nuances of various schools. She offered great suggestions for clubs, academic programs, and traditions, which enabled me to demonstrate genuine interest in each program. She also helped me create a realistic application plan, including Round 1 and 2 options, and created a project management plan that allowed me to work efficiently on applications sequentially. As a result, I submitted all my applications 3 weeks before the deadlines. Lastly, her versatility is exceptional as she can cater to applicants with diverse backgrounds, both in and outside the traditional business world, as reflected by the consistent success of her clients.
One of Karen’s key skills is story-telling – both at a macro level, shaping the overarching narrative and essay flow, and at a micro level, improving word choice and making language more concise to fit within word limits. She also applied this skill to my resume and application forms as well, two valuable pieces of real estate that many applicants overlook. That being said, I will caution that Karen is a coach, not your personal writer, and to maximize your results, you’ll need to put in the effort. However, she will be there every step of the way.
To that point, I can’t overstate her level of professionalism. Her written feedback, particularly for my essays (which I iterated on countless times), was always prompt and clear. She was also readily available for calls and made scheduling easy, even accommodating unusual time slots when I urgently needed to connect. While I took her availability for granted at the time, I later realized, after talking to my business school classmates, that her consistent and thoughtful responsiveness is a rare quality among coaches.
Finally, one piece of advice I’d give to applicants searching for a coach is to choose someone you feel comfortable working with, as there will be moments of vulnerability during this deeply self-reflective process. Karen stood out to me as approachable yet incredibly sharp. Looking back, I see how much self-confidence I gained with her help as I reflected on my life story, motivations, values, and vision for the future. This process also helped me recognize qualities that might not traditionally come to mind when describing a strong business professional but are highly valued by schools (e.g., being an event planner and promoter). This was not only invaluable for my application but also for maximizing my MBA experience. While I considered a few other well-qualified admissions coaches, I ultimately chose Karen because it was clear she was genuinely invested in my success, balancing encouragement with a realistic perspective.
You’ll quickly find that during every school’s info sessions they encourage applicants to be “authentic.” While I often glossed over that, looking back on my success, I was only able to over-achieve in the process because of Karen’s coaching, who indirectly gave me the self-confidence to truthfully tell my own story, yet the expertise to tell it in a thoughtful and impactful way. I could not be more grateful for the experience working with her.
Sharon was a dedicated and genuine partner throughout my application process. From day one, it was clear that Sharon was fully committed to my success. She created a strategy based on my background to create the best applications possible; she also coordinated additional Fortuna resources to review and advise on my -re-application to one of my target schools. Overall, I had a great experience with Sharon and the Fortuna team; I cannot recommend Sharon and Fortuna enough.
Karen was truly exceptional, and I cannot recommend her enough to anyone looking for a genuine, caring, and extremely knowledgable consultant to guide them through the application process. When we had our introductory call, I was nearly finished with testing but feeling burned out and exhausted. From the very start, Karen brought a calmness and focus to my process, and I instantly felt reassured having her in my corner. I spoke with a few other consultants as well, but Karen’s dedication to providing reassurance and helping me push through the final stages of testing was incredibly meaningful. It was clear that she cared about my story and believed in me even before we had begun formally working together. I’m so glad I did!
Karen was remarkable at every step of the process. With my traditional finance background, I was eager to highlight my less traditional interests and experiences, and from the outset, she provided guidance on how to do so authentically. Although she proposed what felt like an ambitious timeline for drafting my résumé and recommendation letters, our work never felt rushed. We met countless times to fine-tune my résumé so it was ready for early summer coffee chats and worked through multiple drafts of my recommender briefs, ensuring my recommenders had ample time to write well-crafted letters. Both recommenders were incredibly impressed with the level of detail I provided, and I have Karen to thank for that!
My favorite part of working with Karen was writing my essays. Every time we met, it felt like Karen knew my story just as well — if not better — than I did. She always knew the subtle nuances to highlight to make my story come alive in each essay. I felt so reassured having a clear game plan for each school I applied to. There was no shortage of questions that Karen answered or drafts she reviewed, but every response was timely, thoughtful, and honest. I am proud of each essay I wrote.
When interview offers came out, Karen was just as responsive and insightful, and she was such a motivating cheerleader. I could not be more thrilled to have received offers from all five schools I applied to, including Wharton and CBS, my dream schools.
I cannot say enough positive things about Karen — she exceeded my very high expectations in every single way. I have no doubts that my success at the end of the process was due in large part to her.
I spent time with Silpa working on my top four schools. Long story short, I did not only get into the school I wanted, but with a hefty scholarship that made my decision so easy. My investment in Silpa has paid for itself many times over and I am very grateful. Silpa was gracious but candid with her feedback, and turned things around quickly as deadlines approached. She digs deep to understand your story, and makes sure the gold nuggets in your narrative are polished and visible in your essays, resume, and recommendation letters. I did not know as much about the process as I thought I did, and Silpa filled those gaps perfectly. Thank you, Silpa!
I cannot recommend Sharon highly enough! Thanks to her expert guidance, I was admitted to four out of the five MBA programs I applied to—including Harvard.
From the very beginning, Sharon’s deep expertise and strategic insights were invaluable. As someone with a somewhat untraditional background, I was initially unsure how my story would resonate with top business schools. Sharon not only helped me craft a compelling and authentic narrative but also gave me the confidence to present my best self. Sharon’s expertise especially came through when we brainstormed how to approach the essays for each school based on her knowledge of these programs and my story.
Beyond her strategic expertise, Sharon was a constant source of support. She answered all my questions—big and small—and provided reassurance during moments of doubt. She celebrated every interview invite with me, helped me prepare those, and shared the excitement for each acceptance.
I’m incredibly grateful for Sharon’s guidance and unwavering encouragement throughout this journey. If you’re looking for an MBA consultant with exceptional experience and a true passion for helping applicants succeed, I wholeheartedly recommend her!
Heidi was wonderful to work with! She really worked to get to know me on both a professional and personal level and was so supportive throughout the entire process. The initial assignments that she gave were particularly beneficial in helping me to craft a compelling and cohesive career vision and highlight leadership stories to use in my interview and application. With most of the work and reflection done upfront, I was able to go into my essays feeling confident. Even after the bulk of the work was done, Heidi continued to provide support and guidance, and it was awesome to celebrate together once I got news of my acceptance! I cannot recommend Heidi & Fortuna enough. Thank you so much, Heidi!
With Rachel’s help, not only did I get into my dream school (GSB Stanford), but also Harvard and Yale! Rachel was the exact right balance of supportive and challenging – I so appreciated Rachel being honest when my essays and messaging were not landing, and pushing me think even deeper on why an experience impacted me. The business school introspection period is so hard! I so appreciate Rachel being by my side at every step of the process. Also, Rachel always responded promptly, sometimes reviewing drafts in less than 24 hours. During crunch time, I could always count on Rachel to answer my questions and review my essays quickly! When I hit submit on my applications, the best feeling was knowing I truly did put my best foot forward, and I had no regrets. I couldn’t have achieved this without Rachel!
I can’t believe I’m in a position now to make the decision on which incredible school to go to! Thank you Rachel!!
Working with Rachel was easily the best decision I could have made throughout this entire business school admissions process. It was clear from the outset that she really knew what she was doing. She took the time to get to know me and my background instead of prematurely jumping into the applications and essays. Throughout our time together, she would bring up anecdotes I had previously shared with her that I myself had forgotten about! She was strategic about maximizing the value of each story, word, and character. Rachel was both incredibly thorough and highly efficient. Her feedback was always insightful, pushing me to think deeply about what I was trying to convey and how to do so most effectively. In the midst of a high-pressure work environment, Rachel helped me stay on track and kept my morale high. I truly enjoyed our conversations. Having her in my corner alleviated so much of my anxiety surrounding the entire application process. Even when I felt like something was “good enough,” Rachel pushed me to make it even better. She worked with me right up until I submitted each application and later supported me in preparing for interviews. I received admission to one of my top choices with a partial scholarship. I highly doubt that either would have occurred without Rachel’s steadfast support!
I had a fantastic experience working with Michel and would highly recommend her! I worked with her on an hourly basis for applications to 5 schools. Michel is very knowledgeable about the MBA application process and helped me craft a thoughtful and authentic story. I found her to be incredibly helpful with essay revisions. She provided valuable insights on how I could tailor my essays to each school and helped me elevate my personal stories to a higher level. She was incredibly supportive throughout the entire process and always made herself available. I ended up getting into 4 out of the 5 schools I applied to, all with significant scholarship money, and was waitlisted at the 5th school. I am so happy I worked with Michel – it was absolutely worth it!
I absolutely loved working with Rachel! I wouldn’t have gotten into HBS and Wharton without her support, advice, and edits.
Throughout the process, I think where Rachel helped the most was crafting a story that made sense given my prior experience while also helping me own my achievements. While working on the letter of recommendation briefs, she was very helpful in making sure I acknowledged what I had accomplished, rather than assuming those were not large achievements.
She does a great job of really listening to what you’re saying and crafting a story based on that. I loved it because when I read through my full application at the end, it felt 100% like me. I didn’t fabricate anything or exaggerate anything, and it was my voice, but Rachel helped bring out the highlights of my overall story.
Truly could not recommend working with her more!!
I had the pleasure of working with Sharon to apply to two different MBA programs for Round 1 in the Fall of 2024. I was fortunate to be accepted to both programs, one of which was an M7 and the other was a T10. Sharon was extremely thorough and helpful with the entire process, providing excellent feedback on essays, my resume, rec letters, interview prep, and more. I am so appreciative to have worked with Sharon and can very confidently say that she is a huge reason that my application package was so strong.
Maren is an incredible MBA coach. She is: – Extremely detail-oriented: Maren and I went through every single piece of my application (word by word) to make sure everything fit in one cohesive, strong story – A true subject-matter expert: Maren has unparalleled knowledge of what goes on in the MBA admissions office having been an application reader herself. Those insights were game-changing for my application – Great at giving critical feedback: Maren ensures all her feedback (good and critical) is specific and goal-focused, so I was never left questioning why we should change something – Easy to work with: she is super fast at responding to questions and always makes herself available – An exceptional storyteller: so much of the MBA application is tying all the small decisions into one genuine storyline that appeals to the admissions office. This is definitely one of Maren’s strengths
Overall, I could not recommend working with Maren enough (putting my admissions results aside). She is an awesome person and makes the MBA process far less stressful than it can be and more fruitful than I expected.
Alterrell played a pivotal role in elevating my MBA essays. I had a clear vision for why I wanted to pursue business school, but Alterrell helped me transform my experiences and aspirations into a compelling and cohesive story. With his support, I was able to articulate my ideas with clarity and intention. I highly recommend Alterrell to anyone looking to refine their narrative and move beyond surface-level storytelling to create maximum impact.
I had the pleasure of working with Peter Johnson from Fortuna for my EMBA application process, and I highly recommend it. Pete has an an in-depth understanding of the MBA admissions landscape, particularly for the school I was applying to. He was able to provide insights into what the school values in candidates, and how best to tailor my application to stand out. The guidance on understanding the school culture and aligning my career goals with what the schools were looking for was invaluable. What really stood out to me was how strategic and tailored the entire process was. The initial questionnaire followed by the leadership exercises really helped me craft a cohesive narrative that highlighted my strengths, experiences, and future goals. The essay editing process was extremely thorough – I appreciated how Pete challenged me to dig deeper into my motivations and experiences to create a compelling & authentic narrative. Throughout the entire process, communication was smooth and timely. Pete was always available to answer questions, provide feedback, and offer support sometimes even after hours to accommodate my work & travel schedule. Overall, I am extremely grateful for Pete’s guidance and would recommend his services to anyone looking to apply to MBA programs. His professionalism, expertise, and personal touch made all the difference in helping me achieve my goals and get into my target school in the bay area.
Working with Sharon has been an absolute game-changer in my MBA application journey! This cycle, I was fortunate to receive offers from 6 of the 7 schools I applied to — including 3 M7 programs — along with a total of $350K in scholarships across 6 offers.
Coming from a healthcare background, I was specifically seeking a mentor who could help me navigate healthcare-focused MBA programs and joint MBA/MPH tracks. Sharon’s deep expertise and thoughtful guidance were invaluable throughout the process. She helped me craft a compelling narrative that authentically reflected my passions and experiences, while also pushing me to refine my career vision with insightful reflections and targeted feedback.
Beyond her incredible mentorship, Sharon made this intense process enjoyable! Her humor, positivity, and encouragement lifted my spirits during moments of doubt, and her unwavering support kept me motivated. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better coach and partner in this journey.
I wholeheartedly recommend Sharon to anyone embarking on the MBA application process — especially those looking for a mentor who can bring both expertise and heart to the table!
Scott has a real talent at crafting a strong narrative when sharing your personal story! Highly suggest working with him – his perspective is tangible, actionable, and thoughtful. It’s been a pleasure working with him.
I loved working with Julie! She is so knowledgeable about the programs I was interested in and is incredible at storytelling. I trusted her opinion and felt comfortable asking her any question. She helped me get into both Kellogg and Booth with a combined scholarship of over $200,000!
I had an outstanding experience working with Catherine Tuttle as my admissions coach from Fortuna Admissions. Catherine helped me strengthen my application by providing honest and tailored advise as well as key insights about the application process. She assisted me with effectively communicating and highlighting experiences that better portrayed my qualities and suitability to pursue an MBA program. I’m extremely grateful to Catherine for motivating me and giving me the confidence to apply to an M7 program – I thought such a program was out of my reach but ended up being admitted with a generous scholarship. Overall, Catherine is an amazing coach and very approachable with extensive experience in the field – she made my application process more manageable and less overwhelming. I highly recommend working with Catherine if you are applying to a top MBA program.
Working with Emma has been the most amazing experience! With her help, I was admitted to Wharton ($100K scholarship) and SOM (full tuition scholarship). I highly highly recommend her to anyone aiming for the top schools in the US. Emma really takes the time to get to know you and give tailored advice specific to you, your schools, and your goals. She was there throughout the entire process – from the brainstorming and resume refinement to the interview prep and scholarship negotiations. She is extremely knowledgeable, organized, and efficient. Even in the peak weeks when application deadlines were approaching, her quick turnarounds didn’t waver. Emma strikes the perfect balance between telling you what you need to hear and being an inspirational and supportive coach. As I’m sure most of us would be for our applications, I was insanely particular about making sure everything was perfect. With one of my schools, Emma gave me feedback on twelve drafts of my essay before I decided to scrap it and go with a different idea (with only two weeks to go till the deadline). She patiently consulted me on my new concept until I was 100% confident about it. I was initially unsure whether I even needed to work with a consultant, but in hindsight I can confidently say the investment more than pays off. And without a doubt, I would recommend picking Emma to set yourself up for future success!
Emma was absolutely fabulous. She got me into 100% of the schools I applied to and got me a huge scholarship at my top school- Wharton. I credit her entirely with helping me find my angle on my application and essays and really helping me clarify my story and goals. She really goes the extra mile for her clients, she’s always available no question is stupid. She gives honest feedback and criticism and allows her students to work to find their angle themselves with her guidance. Beyond that, she is a lovely person, easy to talk to and clearly truly cared about me as a person and wanted to see me succeed. She is wonderful you will not regret working with her.
When I first started working with Patty, I was completely out of my element. It had been nearly a decade since I’d applied for anything—school, jobs, you name it—and I had no idea how to position myself in a competitive admissions process. From day one, Patty brought clarity, strategy, and a level of enthusiasm that made me feel like I had a real partner in this journey.
Patty didn’t just help me “check boxes” on an application; she helped me uncover and articulate my unique story. Whether it was crafting essays that felt authentic but powerful or navigating interview prep with confidence, she brought out the best in me at every step. What’s more, she managed to make an intimidating process feel not just manageable but genuinely exciting.
I’m convinced that her strategic insights and her ability to really understand me as a candidate made all the difference in my outcomes. Patty’s approach isn’t cookie-cutter—it’s tailored, thoughtful, and deeply impactful.
If you’re looking for someone to guide you through the EMBA admissions process, look no further. Patty’s expertise, encouragement, and candid feedback were invaluable, and I’ll always be grateful for her role in my admissions success.
Patty was an amazing partner in this journey. I applied to multiple programs and she was always available to share feedback and often hopped on the phone within minutes. Her experience, dedication and partnership were incredibly evident since day 1. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed working with her and am sure I will stay in touch with her even afterwards. She’s become a great coach and support system as I navigate my career journey!
I had the pleasure of working with Emma for my LBS MiM application. This was my second time applying, and the process was more challenging than I had anticipated. I faced difficulties in refining my essays, articulating my career goals, and standing out in such a competitive pool of candidates. However, with Emma’s guidance, I was able to address these challenges effectively. Her expertise and constructive feedback were invaluable in helping me craft a compelling application. I’m thrilled to have received the offer, and I highly recommend her as a consultant for Master’s applications to anyone looking for expert advice and support.
I came to Emma about 1-2 weeks before the deadline for a T10 school asking her for help. Emma not only agreed to help me at the last minute but also refused to let the quality drop despite the rushed submission. She was candid, thoughtful, and targeted with her feedback while keeping time sensitivities in mind to ensure i meet the submission. She also went out of her way to review my drafts at the last minute despite personal contingencies.
I am certain I would not have been accepted at this school without Emma’s help, but perhaps I most appreciate Emma for always making me feel like someone had my back at all times. Thank you so much Emma!
Heidi is the best coach I could ever ask for! I was admitted to HBS and GSB because of her help.
Instead of vague words of support, I want to provide concrete details of game-changing moments that Heidi initiated that drastically changed the course of my applications:
1- Even under pressure, she recommended a complete essay revamp for one of my HBS essays that improved the quality of the essay significantly. Not an easy thing to do when you’re juggling many clients and have already invested time and effort into a certain narrative with a client. 2- Gave me a mock HBS interview that ended up being almost exactly identical to the line of questioning I received in my real interview. 3- Incredibly encouraging while remaining completely realistic and logical throughout the process. Exactly what you need to stay motivated but optimistic through this long process.
Forever grateful for her support and would fully recommend working with her!
Jenifer showed a true involvement in my story and played an priceless role through the essay phase. She was the yin to my yang throughout the writing process, offering a different perspective that helped me balance out my approach and put together a stellar application. Through her support I was admitted to my top two choices at HBS and GSB! Forever grateful for her support and would recommend working with her, especially if you are someone who needs a calm approach and emotional backing throughout the process.
I cannot recommend Heidi highly enough for anyone navigating the MBA application process. As a reapplicant, I came into the process knowing I needed to make significant changes and improvements to my application. From day one, Heidi knew exactly how to adapt my approach, refine my messaging, and focus on the areas that required the most attention. Her insights and strategies were spot on, and her professionalism shone through in every interaction.
What truly set Heidi apart was her responsiveness—she was quick to reply to every question or concern, no matter how big or small, and always made time to provide thoughtful guidance. Beyond her role, she went out of her way to ensure I felt comfortable and supported throughout the process. Her kindness, encouragement, and genuine belief in my goals turned what could have been an overwhelming journey into an empowering one.
Her ability to provide honest yet constructive feedback was invaluable. She helped me refine my essays to clearly and authentically communicate my story, making sure every detail aligned with my aspirations. Thanks to her dedication and expertise, I was able to submit applications I am truly proud of.
If you’re looking for someone who not only understands the nuances of a successful MBA application but will also go above and beyond to help you succeed, Heidi is the perfect choice!!
Heidi is an excellent advisor, serving as an invaluable additional pair of eyes in conjunction with my primary coach. She brings deep expertise on what schools like Stanford GSB is looking for, and was able to give insightful input on how to differentiate oneself in the essays. Heidi was also very helpful with interview prep, where she conducted a thorough mock interview and gave me constructive, detailed feedback on the areas I should work on. During the process, she was able to be supportive while also productively challenging me to dig deeper and sharpen aspects of both my written application and interview responses. Heidi is fantastic at what she does and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience – I strongly recommend her, especially for those interested in schools like the GSB.
Emma is simply the best in the game. With her support, I was recently admitted to my top choice Stanford GSB, and she played such an instrumental role throughout the process. Right from our first intro call, Emma went above and beyond to understand my background, motivations and goals, which created the foundation to build compelling, well-rounded applications. She strikes an exceptional balance of being supportive, but also not shying away from giving constructive feedback and pushing me to dig deeper or redraft sections where she sees room for improvement – something I was really looking for in a coach. Emma is also highly detail-oriented and will take the time to not only reshape high-level themes, but also dive into the weeds to tweak word choices and sentence structures with you. She does this all while being very responsive, often getting back within a matter of hours, which enabled us to work through multiple iterations of 8+ essays across 2 schools in just several weeks when it came to crunch time. Emma was an absolute pleasure to work with throughout what can be a stressful process, and helped make it a much more manageable and positive experience overall – 10/10, I give her my utmost recommendation.
I was already working with another consultant when someone recommended Tatiana to me midway through the process. I needed help crafting my career goals, and after explaining my specific challenge to her, she immediately understood what I needed and jumped in to help. I booked a few sessions with her, and she was an amazing listener and guide. She helped me refine my goals into something that felt aligned with my personal story and aspirations. I especially appreciated that she wasn’t just focused on my MBA application – she genuinely cared about helping figure out my goals and make decisions that would serve me well beyond the application process.
When I started writing my GSB essays, I wanted an extra set of eyes to review them, and Tatiana was incredible. She turned around detailed feedback quickly and pushed me to dig deeper into my story. Her comments and insights were thoughtful and challenged me to reflect more.
What I especially appreciated about Tatiana was her approach – she never put any unnecessary pressure on me. She was always available when I needed her, but she wasn’t constantly following up or checking in, which I found refreshing. The MBA application process is already so stressful, and her on-demand support made me feel in control and supported without adding to the pressure.
The work we did together – both on my career goals and my essay – played an important role in getting me into my dream school. I’m grateful for her and would 100% recommend Tatiana!
I am beyond grateful for Heidi’s expertise and support throughout my MBA admissions journey. Heidi played a pivotal role in securing offers from Harvard Business School, Wharton, Tuck, Booth, and Darden despite a non-traditional background and below-average GRE score.
From our initial consultation I felt that Heidi was truly invested in my success and went to great lengths to understand my work experience and how best to leverage it in the applications. She also ensured I was able to effectively convey my goals and background, while tailoring them to the preferences of each admissions committee. I truly do not believe this outcome would have been possible without Heidi’s guidance and experience in MBA admissions.
I highly recommend Heidi to anyone pursuing an MBA. Although I was initially hesitant at the price of her services, I am immensely grateful that I made the investment in my future by hiring her. Having Heidi as a resource was invaluable, and I am so grateful she was willing to take me on as a client. I look forward to continuing my education at a top MBA program!
I worked with Silpa on my Round 1 applications and she helped me get into HBS and the Wharton/Lauder program! When I initially met with MBA advisers, Silpa stood out to me as incredibly professional, grounded, and thoughtful. When working with her, I found that she is an exceptional thought partner and coach.
I was initially daunted by the workload and competitiveness of the process but Silpa helped me break it down into manageable steps. She made working together on the applications genuinely fun, pushing me to dream big about what I could use my MBA to pursue post-grad and giving me the confidence that the career milestones I had achieved already were enough to give me a shot at the business schools I was applying to.
Silpa is not only kind and inspires you to think boldly, but is also fiercely capable. She leverages her years of experience in admissions to help you weave together different aspects of your identity and history. She makes you feel truly seen, remembering details you’ve told her in the past to highlight in your essays, or even just personal life updates you told her about months ago.
Finally, I’ll note that she is incredibly thoughtful in her coaching style. When we practiced for the HBS interview together, she offered me feedback in between questions where I could sharpen my answers, rather than saving all of her feedback for the end. She noted that she found it more helpful to give the feedback in the moment to keep the information fresh. After our preparation, I felt more confident going into my HBS interview and was able to treat it more like a conversation about my interests rather than an interview.
Working on the MBA application takes over much of your life for a year. If you want to land a spot at a top program while also having fun in the process, I highly recommend working with Silpa!
It was an absolute pleasure working with Michel. When I started my MBA application process in April, I was initially hesitant to use a consultant, but after having an initial consultation with Michel we immediately clicked, and I knew it would be worth the investment. I decided to use a 3-school comprehensive package with her to work on Stanford, HBS, and Berkeley Haas, and then supplemented additional applications to Duke, CBS, and Yale with hourly work.
We started working together in April and thought through my short term career plans, long term career vision, resume, and recommenders. We then dove into drafting outlines for essays, researching specific programs at my target schools, and crafting a strategy for reaching out to alumni/current students. I was coming from a relatively unconventional background in agriculture, but Michel took the challenge head on and helped me create a story that flowed through into my essays and interview prep. We met with each other over 40 times throughout the Round 1 process, and Michel was always quick to respond and easy to reschedule when needed. When I started to hear back about interviews, Michel helped me prep by doing mocks and giving me insights on what each specific school would be looking for.
I was ultimately admitted to all 6 of the schools I applied to, and I can say without a shred of doubt that it would not have been possible without her. She not only helped me articulate my story in a clear and concise way but also helped ease my concerns when I lacked confidence and helped answer questions when I had them. Going into the process, I felt like I didn’t have a true advisor that I could trust to shepherd me through, and I am so grateful I found Michel.
10/10 cannot recommend enough. If you are applying to business school, she is the MBA consultant you want.
I was hesitant to work with an admissions consultant due to price, but I found the experience incredibly beneficial. Being worried about certain weak aspects of my profile, I opted for hourly service to workshop essays and my resume. I chose Scott because during our free consultation, he provided me with ideas for my application and how we could work together instead of bragging about past success and using scare tactics like other consultants that I met with.
Not only did Scott give me super creative and honest feedback, but he was respectful of my budget and I never felt like I was being upsold. I wholeheartedly believe I got my money’s worth from the experience despite going in skeptical.
Headed to an M7 and received large scholarships at multiple T15s as well! Scott is a great option for a premium consultant and I HIGHLY recommend working with him if you’re targeting top schools. Thanks, Scott!
I worked with Silpa on my Round 1 MBA applications and couldn’t be happier with the results: I received acceptances to Kellogg, Ross, Fuqua, and Anderson, along with over $300K in scholarship offers across these schools.
After initial consultations with multiple consultants from other companies, Silpa stood out immediately with her personable, approachable, and incredibly knowledgeable nature. I was initially concerned about my GRE score being average for most schools, but Silpa put my worries to rest right away by helping me focus on the unique strengths of my profile.
From the moment we started working together, Silpa provided unparalleled support and guidance. She helped me craft a compelling, cohesive story that clearly articulated my vision and set me apart. Her feedback on my essays and applications was detailed, thoughtful, and always delivered well ahead of deadlines, giving me ample time to refine my work.
Silpa’s support extended beyond just the applications. Our mock interview sessions were invaluable—she offered constructive feedback that sharpened my responses and boosted my confidence. She even reviewed my recommenders’ drafts to ensure their letters aligned with the broader narrative of my application.
The MBA application process can feel overwhelming, but Silpa and her team made it feel organized and manageable every step of the way. Her professionalism, expertise, and genuine investment in my success were game-changers. I highly recommend working with her if you’re aiming for top-tier results!
I am deeply grateful to Bill for the exceptional guidance he provided throughout my MBA application journey. From the very beginning, Bill took the time to truly understand my background, my goals, and my unique story. He worked closely with me to help craft a narrative that was not only authentic but also clear, compelling, and aligned with the values of the programs I was applying to. His ability to help me articulate my experiences and aspirations in a succinct and meaningful way made all the difference in presenting my strongest self to the admissions committees.
Beyond this, Bill was incredibly responsive and reliable. No matter the time of day or the complexity of my questions, Bill was always available, offering thoughtful and thorough feedback that made me feel supported at every stage of the process.
Bill has also been an invaluable mentor throughout the entire application process. Beyond helping me prepare my applications, he provided thoughtful guidance as I practiced for interviews, and even after receiving acceptances, Bill continued to offer his expertise, helping me evaluate my options and make a well-informed decision about the next step in my journey.
Thanks to Bill’s expertise and dedication, I was able to submit applications that truly reflected who I am and why I am a strong fit for my target programs. I am immensely grateful for his partnership and highly recommend his services to anyone navigating the MBA application process.
I am so happy I chose Tatiana for my application process! As an international student, I knew I needed professional help to navigate MBA applications since I didn’t even know where to start. After talking to multiple consultants, I knew Tatiana was right for me because we came from the same country, and I felt she truly understood my background and accomplishments within my context.
I can’t emphasize enough how incredibly important her help was during each stage. Even before working with her, she kept cheering me on when I didn’t achieve the test scores I was aiming for. When I was about to throw in the towel and wait to apply next year, she encouraged me to double down and apply this year because she knew I already had a strong profile.
She not only helped me establish a good cadence to complete all the materials on time for the R1 deadlines, but she also taught me how to leverage my strengths and showcase them in the best way possible in my essays. She was always available when I needed to talk to her and provided feedback on corrections and materials at a fast pace.
I also want to mention that, coming to this process as an engineer, I realized most of what I initially wanted to say was too technical or didn’t highlight the attributes B-schools value, like leadership, strategic thinking, and mentorship. However, Tatiana took the time to first understand my story, strengths, and experience. Then, she helped me frame everything in a way that resonated with the schools.
I’m really happy to say that, thanks to her help, I secured interviews with 2 of my top 3 choices (HBS and MIT) and ultimately got admitted to MIT with a fellowship! All this knowing that I had low test scores for those schools.
If you want a coach who is ready to learn everything about you to help you communicate your story in the best way possible, Tatiana is the one.
I had the absolute privilege of working with Heidi during my MBA application journey to Stanford and Columbia, and honestly, I couldn’t have asked for better guidance. Heidi just gets it—she understood my story, my strengths, and what made me unique, and helped me turn all that into essays that really stood out. Her advice was always spot on (too many years of knowing what works and what doesn’t). Heidi is also a GSB alum, which real helps to bring that real-life, insider perspective. She is truly amazing, really recommend her!
Have already provided a detailed review. This is to update that I have been accepted into multiple programs with scholarship, including my top choice MIT, Sloan Fellows MBA program. Worked with Jonathan for the pre-interview questions and some interview tips. Very insightful and encouraging and worked with me to help me achieve my goal.
Tatiana is incredible! I had the pleasure of working with her on my GSB application, and she was nothing short of an outstanding coach. The experience felt more like a journey of self-discovery—understanding who I am, what drives me, and what truly matters to me—than just a school application process. Her guidance helped me articulate my story in a way that felt authentic and meaningful.
Tatiana was always available for calls and incredibly flexible with scheduling, making the process smooth even with my busy schedule. She never rushes; instead, she takes the time to truly listen, reflect, and provide thoughtful, tailored feedback. She goes above and beyond to deeply understand who you are and how to highlight your strengths in a compelling way.
What stood out the most was her unwavering support and encouragement. Even in moments of self-doubt, Tatiana helped me stay focused and motivated. Although I didn’t get admitted this time, the personal growth I experienced while working with her was invaluable. I wouldn’t hesitate to work with her again, and I highly recommend her to anyone navigating this challenging but rewarding process!
I first heard about Silpa through my cousin, who had a wonderful experience working with her. I can confidently say that all I had heard was true – Silpa is the best consultant that you can choose to work with.
Coming in, the hardest part of the MBA application for me was understanding how to tell my story — how do I choose what experiences to highlight, find common themes, and articulate my goals in a realistic, yet compelling manner?
Immediately, Silpa’s ability to do all of the above was extremely clear. Her diligence to understand (and remember) my story, at such a granular level of detail is what allowed her to effortlessly pull themes and convincing narratives that I could have never seen myself. With a balance of kindness + candor, she provided extremely detailed feedback for each resume, LOR, and essay, pushing me to not settle for anything less than the gold standard through multiple rounds of edits (under tight timelines.) Silpa’s ability to call out parts of my experience that I myself forgot at times truly highlighted her investment in helping me put my best foot forward and make sure the entire story was told.
I was ultimately able to gain admission to my top choices (Wharton, MIT Sloan, and Haas), and can confidently say that this would not be possibly without her detailed revisions, knack for storytelling, and words of encouragement.
Throughout the process, I felt that my experience was only half the puzzle. Being able to tell the story is the other half, and Silpa has an unmatched ability to piece that together! Would whole heartedly recommend working with her during your MBA application process.
Matt is one of the best in the industry, not only as a consultant but also as a supportive and genuinely helpful person. He took the time to speak with me multiple times, helping me identify the key strengths in my profile. Remarkably, he offered this advice without charge and was consistently available to guide me through challenging situations throughout the process. His expertise and insights into the industry are outstanding, and his comprehensive understanding of the process is truly impressive. I can’t thank him enough for his guidance and unwavering support.
Working with Jenifer was the best decision I made for my MBA applications. During a stressful and nerve-wracking application season, her calm, steady mantra, “trust, we will get there” became my guiding light. She not only helped me craft stellar applications but also kept me grounded and focused. She is more than just a consultant, she is a mentor and a friend I could trust and truly collaborate with. I would highly recommend scheduling an introductory call to experience it yourself 🙂
The results speak for themselves – I was shortlisted for interviews at all the schools I applied to and got accepted into 3 out of 4 schools (waitlisted at one), including scholarships! Her expertise, patience, and ability to instill confidence are unmatched. If you’re looking for someone to guide you through the MBA application maze, I highly, highly recommend her. Please reach out if you have any questions.
Thank you so much Jenifer for all your help and support, I could not have done this without your guidance! Very grateful to have you as my MBA Consultant!
As an international applicant, I had little understanding of the Stanford GSB admissions process. From the outside, it seemed incredibly daunting, and I knew I needed the expert guidance of someone like Heidi.
Heidi truly embodies the spirit of Stanford GSB. She cares deeply about your journey and your potential to make an impact on the world. Her authenticity and honest feedback made all the difference. I can confidently say that without her support, I wouldn’t have gotten in.
Together, we crafted an application that not only highlighted my strengths, experiences, and goals but also authentically reflected who I am. For an essay as personal as What Matters to You and Why, having a coach I trusted was essential. Heidi created a space where I could dig deep and tell my story in the most meaningful way.
