I highly recommend working with Eli. I called two MBA application consultants on the evening of completing my GMAT and chose Eli because of a friend’s recommendation and his no-nonsense communication style. It’s the highest amount of money I ever spent on something, and absolutely worth it. Since I had only a month left until the deadline we started working the next day.

Eli was extremely flexible, easy to reach, and effective. There was a significant time difference between us, which never hindered our collaboration. In fact, it meant I could expect updated documentation when I woke up, and sometimes even have another version reviewed before the end of the day. For every essay, he translated what the school was really after and recommended structures before going into first drafts. One of the hardest parts of the application for me was the personal essay. Eli helped me uncover the key elements of my story by pulling details out of me and emphasizing my unique qualities. Looking back at this stage of the process, Eli’s experience, attention to detail, and direct feedback style really helped me push to highlight the unique and ‘impressive’ elements of my story in all parts of the application. If you would’ve told me that I’d get this result a year back, I would’ve probably laughed. I had absolutely no knowledge about the MBA process when I started the journey. I talked to around 10 MBA consultants, all of whom told me that I am a male software engineer from an over-represented pool, with absolutely no official leadership experience. Given I was already well settled in my career and was leading a good life, I didn’t want to leave my job for anything less than HSW.

I first heard of Eli from a few friends who worked with him and got into top MBA programs. After our initial call, I didn’t look any further. Eli understood exactly where I came from and how I wanted to approach the application. He exposed me to schools that fit me better than I initially thought.
But this was just the start. The work with Eli exceeded everything I expected. Eli was knowledgeable in every area of the application and around it. For every dilemma I presented, he explained the options and suggested the best course of action. It was the case for the bigger questions and the smallest ones. First, he never limited the length of our calls or how much we could invest in an area. For one of the major essays, we spent well above 2 hours in just brainstorming. Eli responded within a day to all the documents I sent with very detailed and constructive comments. He gave me a direct number and I was able to reach him mornings and evenings. Again, this was such an important thing as my work is very time-consuming and I needed flexibility.
There were so many other things that were done perfectly, starting with helping me network and connecting me to other students and alumni, through the meticulous editing, all the way to the interview preparation.
