With over 20 years of accumulated MBA wisdom and advisors who are top-tier program veterans, we are proud to say that our anti-laissez-faire approach has proved itself big time. Ivy MBA Consulting was the first admissions consulting firm in the world to verify success rate using a Big 4 accounting firm. Deloitte confirmed both the 91.2% success rate and $2,194,000 in total scholarships of Ivy MBA Consulting in 2014-2015 application season. A copy of the report is available to any who wish to double check. Previous reports are available as well.
I read every review I could find about Eli before starting this process and was intimidated that “brutal” was the word that kept popping up. In our introductory call, even Eli mentioned that the applicants he worked with felt this way. At risk of dismantling his hard-earned reputation, I’d like to dispel the rumors. Eli is not brutal. What he IS is precise, unflinching in his standards, and the antithesis of an epidemic of poorly considered, lazily written slop that increasingly inundates us from every angle. Background for context: I majored in English and had nobody in my orbit who had been through this process or was going through it at the same time. Eli, having navigated this environment and its timelines dozens (hundreds?) more times than me, knew where to start, where to push, and where to let up. Eli is, at his core, a writer, and he understands that good writing is just clear thinking. So, if writing isn’t landing, the root of your problem usually isn’t your words. He catches when your thinking gets lazy or half-formed and will challenge you every time. I was at a startup in the middle of a Series D raise, and I’ll admit the thinking part *occasionally* came after sending something to him for review. He held me to a higher standard – I once even managed to get him to open with “…Dude.” I consider this an achievement, though I am remorseful for disappointing him. He reads what you write and finds the thing that matters most: sometimes it’s where your thinking falls apart (“You are technically answering the question, but I am not sure”) and sometimes it’s where you finally get to your core and he wants you to know it (“BOOM!!”) (< framed that one btw, including both exclamation points!). Where Eli does not get enough credit, in my opinion, is that he also knows when to let up. He’ll never admit this, but this man is FUNNY. Not like a ha-ha, trying-too-hard funny: it’s a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it, wry sort of funny. He could, if he wanted to, level anyone with a one-liner — to my delight, he did so to me more than once. If ambition is what gets you started on this process, humor gets you through it, and Eli is an excellent sparring partner to that end. I created a “Things Eli Said” group chat with my family; I didn’t share my essays with them, but they delighted in reading my screenshots of his commentary. At one point, after I'd written something particularly group-hug-y, Eli hit me with a “In addition to the "Kum ba yah" ceremony, show how you enabled it technically. This can be instead of the next paragraph (which I am not a fan of).” After one of his reviews, I asked if we could hop on a call to talk through it together. He agreed, but once on the call he gently redirected me – he understood the desire, but at the end of the day I wouldn't be able to do that with whomever was reading my final application. Every step of the process prepared me for the one that really mattered. I worked with him directly on three schools, then used that foundation for two more — four M7s and one top-tier in total. I received interview invites to all five, significant scholarships from two, and will be starting at HBS in the fall. I thought that this would be a process of packaging – I did x, it meant y, plz accept me. It turned out to be more of an excavation. I sat on acceptances until the decision deadline in part because, by the time they arrived, they didn’t feel real – the work had gone so deep that a letter couldn't quite hold the weight of it. I'm still exhausted, but I also feel more grounded: more secure in who I am, what matters to me, and what I'm looking to accomplish at HBS and beyond. Start early – I didn’t – and be ready to do it again.
Before choosing Eli, I spoke with several admissions consultants. Many were knowledgeable, but the conversations felt transactional. With Eli, it was different from the very first call. I felt that he genuinely wanted to understand who I was, not just what I had accomplished. Coming from a multicultural background and working in finance, I was worried that my profile would blend in with countless other applicants. I had strong experiences, but I struggled to see what truly differentiated me and how to tell my story in a way that felt authentic. Eli’s greatest strength was helping me uncover what made me unique. Through countless conversations, questions, and moments of reflection, he helped me identify themes in my life that I had never connected before. What impressed me most was his positioning process. He really helped me understand my own story. He challenged assumptions, pushed me to dig deeper, and helped me connect my background, values, experiences, and ambitions into a narrative that was both compelling and genuine. For the first time, I could clearly articulate not only where I wanted to go in my career, but why. Throughout the process, Eli was incredibly available. His response times were remarkable. Whether I sent a message late at night, needed feedback on an essay, or was struggling with a difficult decision, I never felt alone. In moments when I doubted myself, Eli consistently provided both honest feedback and encouragement. He never sugarcoated things, but he always made me feel supported. What I appreciated most was how deeply he cared about getting the story right. He remembered details from previous conversations, noticed inconsistencies, and pushed me to keep refining until every piece of the application reflected who I really was. It often felt like having a coach, strategist, and advocate all in one person. By the end of the process, I felt I had gained much more than successful applications. I had gained a deeper understanding of myself, my motivations, and the impact I want to have in the future. The clarity I developed around my goals will never stay with me long after business school. I am thrilled to have been admitted to both Chicago Booth and Yale SOM. Looking back, choosing Eli was one of the best investments I made in my MBA journey.
I was admitted to Columbia Business School, Chicago Booth, Yale SOM, and NYU Stern, with a decent scholarship offer from Yale SOM. Going into the process, I knew my stats were just okay, so the storytelling would have to do most of the heavy lifting. That’s where working with Eli David made the difference.
My background and career path is nonlinear. I went to school in Latin America, moved to New York on my own, and started out with odd jobs like washing dishes at a restaurant and door-to-door sales before joining a large bank in an Operations role. Over the years I worked my way up, most recently helping establish a Latin America trading desk. Translating that into a coherent narrative for adcoms was the real challenge, and it’s where I needed the most help. The year before, I had used a self-paced service from a large consulting firm. It got me a certain level of work done, but I felt there was additional nuance missing from my materials. After exchanging some feedback emails, I actually got a call from the founder of that firm, and I initially thought I’d just work with him directly. But before committing, I decided to shop around, and that’s how I found Eli. Like the others, he asked to see the materials I had already applied with.
The difference was immediate. Where other consultants hyped me up about how unique and “cool” my story’s arc was, Eli called out the flaws he saw. A prominent example: he told me I should omit the fact that I had bred bulldogs to finance my move to New York. I explained at length that it had been done ethically, but he pointed out it was a gray area that could be misconstrued, so it was better to remove altogether. That first call gave me a real glimpse of what working with him would be like, and it matched what I’d read in his reviews. He was brutally honest, but never harsh for the sake of it. He genuinely cared about getting me best positioned in front of an adcom.
From there, Eli helped me develop a strategy for the overall narrative, weaving the different parts of my story into a single compelling profile. Where other consultants told me my long-term goal was too niche and suggested broadening it to something more conventionally appealing, Eli took the opposite approach. He recognized it was something I had been genuinely passionate about and working toward for a long time, so instead of softening it, we kept it and worked on elevating its reach and impact.
He also helped me restructure my resume so it reflected my accomplishments properly and made a single page compelling enough that a reader would want to learn more. For essays, he’d give me a rough sense of what he wanted the piece to focus on, and then I’d write a draft. It usually took several rounds before he felt it was right, he simply wouldn’t accept anything less.
A few things stood out about working with him. He was consistently responsive, usually replying with comments within one to two business days, and he made himself available for calls or WhatsApp whenever needed. That happened often, especially when I didn’t fully understand his comments and we needed to get on a quick call to sync up on direction.
Eli also helped me put together a waitlist strategy, which ultimately resulted in admission from every program that had initially waitlisted me, along with some scholarship money.
I’d wholeheartedly recommend that anyone with a nontraditional background reach out to Eli and see if his approach is the right fit. Looking back, I only wish I had started working with him earlier in the process.
It’s hard to overstate how complete Eli’s consulting package is. He delivered far more productive hours and strategic insight than I could have gotten from any other consultant. Thanks to him, my MBA applications truly represented the strongest version of my story and delivered my best possible outcome. I started the process late and was initially considering some of the larger consulting firms. At the last minute, a friend recommended Eli after seeing him on Poets & Quants. From our very first conversation, I knew he was the right fit. His personality clicked immediately, and the early ideas he shared for shaping my application were substantially stronger than anything I had come up with. What stood out most was Eli’s personal accountability and availability. There were days I jokingly wondered if I was his only client that round. His feedback was always prompt, direct, and constructive. Our brainstorming sessions helped me uncover layers of my experiences (super valuable coming from a non-traditional background) without missing tight deadlines. In under two months, I completed ten applications, including all the M7 schools. Eli supported me every step of the way, through interviews and even multiple waitlists (several of which I eventually converted). In the end, I received admission to four T10 programs, including three M7s.
I chose to work with Eli after hearing great things from friends who got into top universities. They told me he is very professional and very direct, and they were right. If you are looking for someone who will tell you only what you want to hear, Eli is not for you. But if you want someone who will push you to be your best, he is the perfect choice. His deep knowledge of the MBA world and his honest feedback are the reasons I succeeded. Eli’s talent is helping you find your real story. He knows how to bring out the best version of you, the one that top business schools are looking for. He works incredibly hard and expects the same from you. For four months, we worked so closely that I spoke with him more than I spoke with my partner. He was always available, even at late hours, to make sure everything was perfect because he is a perfectionist. He doesn’t compromise on anything not in the essays, not in the CV, and not even on a single comma. In addition, What makes Eli special is that he doesn’t just “fix” your application, he truly cares about your success. During the most stressful moments of the process, he was there to keep me focused and confident. He knows exactly what the admissions committees want to see, and he makes sure your unique voice shines through in every part of the application. Next year, I will start my MBA at my dream school, MIT. This would not have happened without Eli’s support and his push for excellence. I highly recommend Eli to anyone applying for an MBA. It is a challenging process, but the results are worth every dollar and every correction.
I came into this process with a story that felt scattered. I had a strong sports background, but I didn’t know how to position it, how to connect it to my professional life, or how to make it relevant to a top MBA program.. I have my own style, my own pace, and I needed someone who could both adapt to that and push back when necessary. Working with Eli changed everything. He didn’t try to force me into a standard mold. Instead, he took the time to understand how I think and how I work, and then built a strategy around that. At the same time, he wasn’t afraid to call me out when I was off track or when I was holding back. That balance, adapting to me while also keeping me accountable, is rare and incredibly effective.
The biggest impact was how he helped me reframe my sports background. What I saw as just “something I used to do,” he turned into a central, compelling part of my narrative that tied together different phases of my life. Suddenly, everything made sense. My story had direction, coherence, and purpose.
He was also extremely available throughout the process. Whether it was brainstorming, reviewing drafts, or just getting unstuck mentally, I always felt like I could reach out and get a real answer, not a generic one. In the end, I was admitted to Columbia Business School. This didn’t happen by chance. It was the result of a very deliberate, thoughtful process and someone who knows exactly how to extract and position the best out of you.
I came into this process from what most people would consider a non-competitive background. I was working at a small, relatively unknown company, and my initial target schools were firmly in the second tier. M7, let alone top five, didn’t feel realistic.
What changed everything was the strategy we built together. From the very beginning, Eli went far beyond surface-level advice. We didn’t just pick schools or tweak essays, we constructed a full, coherent plan. That meant defining a credible career path, connecting every part of my background to that path, and shaping a narrative that actually made sense at the highest level. The amount of thought and detail that went into this was honestly surprising.
At some point, something shifted. The strategy was so strong and so well thought through that it completely changed how I saw my own potential. Naturally, my ambition grew. I started aiming for top five schools, which I would have never considered before. That shift is what motivated me to retake the GMAT, not pressure, but a genuine belief that it was now worth it.
Throughout the process, I needed a lot of support, and this is where Eli stands out. I had his personal WhatsApp and used it frequently. Whether I was second-guessing decisions, stuck on an idea, or just needed reassurance, he was always available and fully engaged. That level of access and responsiveness made a huge difference for me.
What impressed me most is his ability to take someone from a less obvious, less competitive profile and build a positioning that works at the very top. This was not about polishing what I already had. It was about rethinking everything and executing it properly. The outcome still feels surreal. I was admitted to a top five school along with several top 20 programs. A year ago, this would have sounded completely unrealistic.
I am honestly the happiest I’ve been in a long time. This process didn’t just change my results, it changed how I see myself and what I believe is possible.
Eli is truly one of a kind – and for me, he became far more than a consultant. He became a true mentor.
Looking back on my MBA journey, working with Eli was not just one of the most meaningful parts of the process, but also one of the best decisions I made. From the very beginning, it was clear that this is not a typical consulting relationship. Eli doesn’t just guide you through the steps – he fully immerses himself in your journey. He takes the time to deeply understand who you are, what drives you, and what truly makes your story unique, often identifying strengths and angles you haven’t yet been able to articulate yourself.
What sets Eli apart is the depth and rigor of his process. This is not about “writing good essays” – it is about building a narrative that is both authentic and precise. He challenges every idea, every sentence, and every assumption. Nothing is accepted at face value, and nothing is left unrefined. At times, the process is demanding and even uncomfortable – but that is exactly what elevates the outcome to a completely different level.
His level of commitment is exceptional. Eli is fully hands-on at every stage, with a degree of involvement and availability that is extremely rare. Whether it is late-night iterations, detailed feedback, or interview preparation, you constantly feel that he is genuinely invested in your success. It is a true partnership built on accountability, trust, and shared ambition.
But more than anything, what had the greatest impact on me was his belief in me. Throughout a process that naturally comes with uncertainty and self-doubt, Eli had a level of conviction in my potential that I didn’t always have myself. And this belief was never superficial – it was grounded in a deep, thoughtful understanding of my story and how to position it in the strongest possible way. Even in moments where I questioned myself, he never did – and over time, that belief became my own.
Beyond the tangible results, Eli gave me something much more valuable: clarity, confidence, and a much deeper understanding of my own story. He didn’t just help me present myself better – he helped me become a stronger candidate and, in many ways, a more self-aware person.
I can say without hesitation that I would not have achieved the same outcome without him. If you are serious about aiming for the very top and are willing to meet a high standard, Eli is not just the best partner you can have in this process – he is in a league of his own.
I was referred to Eli by a friend when I first started thinking about MBA applications. At that point, I was honestly only focused on the “top” schools, but didn’t really have a clear strategy beyond that.
What stood out early on was that Eli was very straightforward. He didn’t sugarcoat things or overpromise, but he was also very clear on what I needed to do to actually have a shot. He helped me narrow down and choose the right schools based on my profile, instead of just blindly aiming or playing it safe.
I was also juggling a full-time job, so time was a real constraint. Eli was very practical about that. He helped me plan around my schedule and also referred me to a GMAT tutor early on, which made a big difference since I didn’t have much time to figure everything out myself during weekdays.
Throughout the process, he was consistent and very matter-of-fact. If something wasn’t strong enough, he would say it directly, and we would fix it. I ended up rewriting my essays many times, and the final versions were completely different from where I started.
Overall, the process felt structured but not stressful. I always knew what I should be focusing on next, which made it a lot more manageable alongside work.
In the end, I got into HBS.
Eli is someone who’s honest, practical, and knows how to push you without overcomplicating things. I’d recommend him, especially if you’re trying to balance applications with a demanding job.
After a full cycle of rejections, I came into this process convinced I had already done everything right. I hadn’t. Within the first few conversations, Eli dismantled that assumption completely. He didn’t “edit” my previous applications. He showed me, in very direct terms, exactly where they failed, where I had been generic, and where I was simply missing the point.
From there, we rebuilt everything from the ground up. This was not a light-touch process. It was intense, creative, and at times uncomfortable. We spent hours brainstorming, pressure-testing ideas, and uncovering stories I had completely ignored before. What I thought were minor or irrelevant experiences became the foundation of my application. Eli has a rare ability to identify what actually matters in your story and then amplify it in a way that is both authentic and strategically powerful.
What truly differentiates him is how he operates. He is brutally honest. He will tell you when something is weak, unclear, or simply not good enough, and he will not sugarcoat it. At the same time, he is extremely available and responsive. I could reach out at any moment, share doubts, second-guess decisions, or admit I was stuck, and he was always there to push me forward. That combination of honesty and constant support is what makes the process work.
He is not a salesperson. He is an execution person. There is a big difference. Many consultants know how to sound convincing in an intro call. Eli is focused on getting the job done, and he does it at a level that is hard to match.
The outcome speaks for itself. After being rejected across the board the previous year, I was admitted to two top-5 M7 schools with a large scholarship. This was not a marginal improvement. It was a complete transformation of how I approached the application process and how I understood my own story.
Next year, I will start my MBA at my dream school, MIT Sloan. This would not have happened without Eli’s support and his push for excellence. I highly recommend Eli to anyone applying for an MBA. It is a challenging process, but the results are worth every dollar and every correction.
Working with Eli was, without exaggeration, the single most important factor in my MBA application journey. I came into the process uncertain, with a background I genuinely believed was fragmented and, in parts, uninteresting or even irrelevant. I had explored different ventures that, in my mind, lacked coherence or prestige, and I struggled to see how any of it could form a compelling story for top programs.
Eli didn’t just help me “package” my profile. He fundamentally changed how I understood it.
From the very beginning, what stood out was his extreme availability. This is not a typical consulting relationship where you wait for scheduled calls or delayed responses. Eli was accessible at all times, whether through phone or WhatsApp, and every interaction felt intentional and focused. Whenever I hit a wall, had doubts, or needed to make a decision, he was there immediately, fully engaged, and ready to go deep. That level of presence made a massive difference in a process that is, by nature, stressful and often isolating.
But availability alone means nothing without substance, and this is where Eli is on another level. His ability to dissect a profile, identify hidden strengths, and build a narrative that actually works is exceptional. He saw patterns and meaning in my past experiences that I had completely overlooked. Ventures I had dismissed as random or insignificant became central pillars of my story. He didn’t force anything artificial. He uncovered what was already there and made it undeniable.
The process itself was intense. There were moments of doubt, frustration, and real vulnerability on my side. What Eli created, though, was an environment where I could be completely open. I could call him when I was unsure, when I felt stuck, or even when I questioned my own chances. Instead of judgment, I got clarity, structure, and encouragement. He helped me move forward every single time, no matter the situation.
Another thing that truly differentiates Eli is that he is not a “delegator.” You are not handed off to junior consultants or left with generic feedback. He is personally involved in every detail, from the early strategy conversations to the smallest edits in the essays. That consistency matters. It ensures that the story remains sharp, coherent, and aligned from start to finish.
The outcome reflects that. I was admitted to an M7 program with a scholarship, something that felt out of reach when I started. But more than the result, what stands out is how different the entire experience was compared to what I expected. Instead of feeling lost or overwhelmed, I felt guided, challenged, and supported throughout.
Working with Eli was one of the most intense, eye-opening, and ultimately transformative parts of my entire MBA journey. I came from a non-traditional legal background, which is not the typical feeder into top MBA programs, and I can say without hesitation that his approach is completely different from anything else out there.
The first thing that stands out is the honesty. It is direct, sometimes uncomfortable, but always accurate. There is no sugarcoating, no “you’re doing great” just to keep you happy. Every conversation is focused on moving forward, fixing what’s weak, and getting results. That execution mindset is rare. Eli is not trying to sell you a process. He is trying to get you across the finish line.
What made the biggest difference for me, though, was his ability to identify and build a story I would have never found on my own. I came in thinking I understood my narrative. I didn’t. Eli pushed until we uncovered a defining experience that, in hindsight, clearly shaped who I am, but I had never considered it relevant. He then helped translate that into something that actually resonates with admissions committees. That single shift changed everything about my application.
There is also a misconception in this space that the best consultants are the ones who sound the most polished in an intro call. Eli is the opposite. He is not a salesperson. In fact, if you’re looking for someone to impress you in a pitch, you might miss what actually matters. What matters is execution, judgment, and the ability to turn your raw material into something exceptional. That is where he is on a completely different level.
The results speak for themselves. As someone from a less traditional and arguably less competitive background, I was admitted to a few M7 programs and am currently on the Stanford GSB waitlist post-interview, which in itself reflects how far the application was able to go in an extremely selective process where most candidates are filtered out well before that stage.
If you are serious about top MBA programs, you should think very carefully about what you are actually paying for. It is not the initial conversation. It is the outcome. Eli is entirely focused on the latter.
I was initially referred to Eli from a friend who had received an offer to Stanford GSB. My decision to take on Eli for as an admissions consultant was the single best I made, resulting in an offer to Stanford GSB.
Having already had one unsuccessful application to five M7 schools and having several factors going against me (age mid-30s, weak quant background), I was lacking confidence about my profile and chances. However, Eli reviewed my profile and previous application, and gave me candid advice about what I needed to do to be competitive, namely regarding test score and volunteering. Well before we formally started working together, he was approachable for follow-up advice on these two aspects of my application.
By the time I was ready to work with him, there were only eight weeks to go until the round 1 deadlines. Despite the tight deadline, Eli was still willing to take me on. What followed by working with Eli was an extremely hands-on process, including resume, essays and selection of recommenders. For each aspect of the application, Eli had an extremely strong grasp of exactly was needed to be competitive at top schools, especially for Harvard and Stanford, which were my target schools. The brainstorming process we did together helped me select and craft narratives which than ultimately led to a far stronger application than I submitted previously.
At all times, Eli was approachable, easy to reach, and had a quick turnaround on reviewing. Every essay and part of the application was reviewed as many times a necessary until deemed ready. What I appreciated at every stage was absolute honesty – if I proposed a story/experience to use that he felt was bland, not unique or boring, he would say so! Interview practice was comprehensive and prepared me well for the interviews I eventually received.
When I received an offer from Stanford, I was beyond words to express my delight. It was not long ago that I thought that, given my background and age, getting into a top business school was a pipe dream. What I now have is an offer from one of the best business schools in the world, and my top choice. This is a huge thing for me, and it would not have been possible without Eli’s rigorous guidance and support.
I therefore wholeheartedly recommend Eli to anyone seriously considering a strong business school application, especially for M7 schools. Thanks so much, Eli!
Working with Eli was a defining part of my MBA application journey, particularly because of how he approached moments of uncertainty with clarity and composure. From the beginning, Eli was confident in my candidacy and in my first-choice school. He never framed it as a reach or tried to manage expectations downward. Instead, he focused on the work. We went deep into my story—far beyond what I initially anticipated—and he helped me identify themes and strengths that I had not fully articulated before. The process was rigorous, thoughtful, and highly structured, and it gave me great clarity. At one point, despite the preparation and progress we had made, I began to second-guess decisions that had already been carefully considered. External opinions created unnecessary noise. What stood out was that Eli did not react to the uncertainty. He remained calm, grounded, and consistent. He trusted the process and, importantly, he trusted the work we had done together. Rather than offering reassurance alone, Eli redirected my focus to substance. He reminded me of the strength of the narrative and encouraged me to stay anchored in the parts of my story that were genuinely compelling, not those driven by momentary doubt. That steadiness helped me re-center and move forward with confidence. When I received the interview invitation from H/S/W, Eli treated it as a natural outcome of strong preparation. The interview preparation followed the same approach: focused, strategic, and grounded in who I am, not in rehearsed or over-engineered responses. Looking back, while friends offered emotional support, Eli provided something more valuable. He kept me anchored to strategy, execution, and my own strengths. He ensured that uncertainty never dictated the process. I was admitted to H/S/W. If you are looking for someone who remains steady, thoughtful, and deeply invested—especially when clarity matters most—Eli is exceptional.
I first reached out to Eli almost a year before we officially started working together. At that point, I was still exploring my options and speaking with many different, highly rated MBA advisors (some of whom are in the Poets & Quants “top 10”). What stood out immediately was that Eli never rushed the process and genuinely cared about me as a candidate. While other advisors met with me for exactly 30 minutes or one hour, he met with me on multiple occasions, completely pro bono. He gave me ample time, answered questions honestly, and was willing to have several conversations before I made any decision.
When we did start working together, the process was strategic and deliberate. We began early and built a long-term plan that accounted for my work schedule and periods when I knew I’d be unavailable to focus on applications. That flexibility mattered. Instead of forcing artificial deadlines, Eli structured the process to maintain momentum without creating unnecessary pressure.
One of the most important moments came during school selection. I initially aimed conservatively, focusing on programs I felt confident about, especially given my lower-than-average test scores. Eli challenged that thinking. He pushed me to apply to schools ranked higher than I had originally considered, even when my own confidence wasn’t fully there. He was clear, rational, and firm about why those schools made sense for my profile, and over time, his confidence helped reshape how I saw my own candidacy.
Throughout the process, Eli was consistent and steady, especially during moments when I doubted myself. He never exaggerated or oversold, but he also never allowed unnecessary self-limitation to dictate the strategy. The work on my essays reflected that mindset: focused, intentional, and built to present the strongest version of my story. I rewrote my essays countless times and ended up looking nothing like my first drafts.
The outcome exceeded what I initially thought possible. I was admitted to my reach school (M7) and received a significant merit-based scholarship. That result wasn’t accidental. It was the product of starting early, aiming higher than I would have on my own, and having an advisor who believed in my potential even when I hesitated.
Eli was truly an exceptional partner in this process.
Working with Eli was a very smooth and well-run experience from start to finish.
From our first conversation, it was clear that Eli knows the MBA admissions process inside out. He quickly understood my background, my goals, and what each school on my list was really looking for. The guidance was structured, practical, and focused. There was no wasted time and no generic advice.
The essay process was thorough and disciplined. Eli pushed for clarity and precision, making sure every story had a purpose and every sentence added value. The feedback was always direct and actionable. Nothing was overcomplicated, but nothing was left vague either. The result was an application that felt coherent, authentic, and strong.
Eli was also very responsive and easy to work with. Questions were answered quickly, drafts were reviewed on time, and deadlines were handled calmly and professionally. The entire process felt controlled and efficient, even during busy periods.
Interview preparation followed the same approach. It was focused, honest, and tailored to the specific schools. I felt prepared without feeling scripted, which made a real difference on interview day.
I was admitted to my target school, and I felt confident about my application when I submitted it. That confidence came from knowing the work had been done properly.
If you are looking for a consultant who is organized, sharp, and consistently delivers high-quality guidance without drama, Eli is an excellent choice.
The MBA application process is long, demanding, and at times emotionally exhausting. What makes the real difference is not just having an advisor, but having someone who is fully committed to your success personally, intellectually, and strategically. That is exactly what working with Eli felt like.
From our very first conversation, it was clear that Eli brings a rare combination of sharp strategic thinking and deep understanding of what top programs are actually looking for. He listened carefully to my story, asked thoughtful and sometimes uncomfortable questions, and quickly identified the themes and experiences that truly mattered. Even early on, he helped me see my own background with more clarity and confidence than I had before.
Throughout the process, Eli was hands-on in the truest sense. Every essay, every draft, every word was examined with precision. Nothing was left vague or generic. If something wasn’t strong enough, we reworked it. If it didn’t serve the story, it was removed. Eli never allowed shortcuts or “good enough,” and that level of rigor elevated the entire application.
What stood out most was his commitment. He was always available, highly responsive, and fully engaged! Not delegating, not disappearing, but personally involved at every stage. It genuinely felt like he was as invested in the outcome as I was. That level of dedication builds trust, especially in a process filled with uncertainty.
When it came time for interview preparation, the same approach applied: focused, honest, and strategic. The preparation went far beyond rehearsing answers, and it helped me understand how I was coming across, how to sharpen my thinking in real time, and how to stay grounded under pressure.
In the end, the result speaks for itself: I got admitted to my dream school! But more than that, I walked away with a deep sense of pride in my application and the story it told, which was clear, authentic, and strong!
If you are looking for an advisor who is direct but supportive, strategic but personal, and truly committed to getting you into the best possible school, Eli is exceptional. I recommend him wholeheartedly.
When I began the MBA process, I knew I was starting from a difficult position. My background was unconventional, my work experience stagnant, and I had no clear strategy. I needed someone who could transform uncertainty into strength, and Eli did exactly that.
The brainstorming was unlike anything I expected. Eli dug into every part of my life, asking questions that forced me to think deeply about who I am, what shaped me, and why my goals matter. He helped me connect pieces of my story I had never considered relevant and turned them into a narrative that was both personal and strategically aligned with what top schools value. My main essay became more than an application; it was a defining reflection on my life.
Eli’s honesty was absolute. If a draft or an idea did not work, he said so directly and pushed me to elevate it until it was powerful. Nothing was ever left at “good enough.” Every sentence had to earn its place, and the difference in quality was dramatic.
His availability was also extraordinary. Whether it was day or night, a small wording question or a big strategic decision, Eli was always there. His responsiveness made the process feel manageable and gave me constant confidence that I was on the right track.
The outcome speaks for itself: I was admitted to three M7 schools. Beyond that, Eli has continued to be a mentor. We are still in touch today, discussing school choices, weighing options, and even broader career decisions. His investment in my success did not end with admission letters; it continues as I shape the next chapter of my life.
If you want a consultant who will go deeper than anyone else, refuse to compromise on quality, and stand with you at every step, Eli is the person you need.
In this journey to a top business school, which includes many months, sometimes more, of very hard work under conditions of uncertainty and emotional ups and downs, the most important thing, in my opinion, is having an advisor who is truly there with you. Someone who accompanies you personally, without any delegates, without middle-men – he himself, hands-on with every document, every draft, and later on, preparing you for every possible interview question. Someone who does it both because he’s a top-tier professional who understands this is what it takes to succeed, but also because he genuinely cares about you. Because he wants you to fulfill your dreams. At the end of the day, that’s the only thing that makes a difference.
I came to Eli David through a recommendation. Already in our first conversation, I told Eli that I intended to apply only to INSEAD, that my GMAT score wasn’t above the school’s average, and that based on my calculations, I would likely not be able to submit my application before Round 4. These were not ideal starting conditions. Still, Eli wasn’t deterred. He listened to my personal story, asked questions, requested clarifications, and told me already during that first call that he believed in my candidacy; but given the GMAT score, the late round, and the fact that I was applying to only one school, the application had to stand out, to shine with clarity and precision . On the same first call, before we even started working together officially, Eli identified parts of my professional and personal experience that I hadn’t necessarily seen as central, and showed me how they could carry more weight in telling my story. To Eli’s credit, he didn’t try to convince me to increase my chances by applying to more schools as a backup plan, nor did he push me to apply in earlier rounds of later programs, even though the odds might have been better. He understood what my aspirations were and started guiding me on what needed to be done to achieve them.
That conversation won me over, and I decided to embark on the journey with him. From that moment, Eli walked with me hand in hand. Over the next six months, as we wrote the notorious INSEAD application (no fewer than five essays, personal information, CV, and more) Eli was there every single day. First in the planning and thought process, and then in execution. Early on, Eli guided me to identify key events in my life, special experiences (even those not work-related) that we would want to highlight. Together, we mapped out the events and built a clear framework for each essay, which really helped me tell my story authentically and effectively. And then we began writing. Often, we went through 10 versions of the same text until we reached one we were both satisfied with. Eli was involved in every number and every word that appeared in my application, down to the letter and digit. He wouldn’t “let me go” on anything until the version was perfect in his eyes. And indeed, sometimes we had to go through 10 versions until we reached that final, polished product. Eli was so meticulous and simply wouldn’t compromise by even a centimeter, even when I was already exhausted – and I admit that happened along the way. Today, when I look back at my application, I read it with tremendous pride, sometimes even feel moved by it, because it’s a truly inspiring document in its sharpness, and in the tremendous work that went into it. Even now, months after it was submitted, I wouldn’t change a single word. And the primary credit for all of it belongs to Eli.
After I passed the pre-selection, Eli began preparing me for the interviews. Even at this stage, Eli guided me, emphasized key points, tested me in person, and gave me feedback. After two mock interviews with Eli, and just a few days before the actual INSEAD interview, Eli referred me (as part of his package) to do a final mock interview in full simulation conditions, with a wonderful, highly professional guy who has worked with Eli for years, a Harvard graduate who specializes in MBA interview prep. He, too, gave me very valuable feedback. I arrived at the INSEAD interviews full of confidence. The interviews weren’t easy, and some questions were completely out of scope, but part of Eli’s prep was to get me ready for exactly these kinds of situations, where you’re asked something totally unrelated. Fortunately, I passed the interviews.
Let’s be honest: Eli is sharp, quick, direct, and to the point – all the way. In this long and uncertain process, which also includes emotional slumps, Eli also knows how to provide emotional support. That said, it’s not his forte. He won’t sit with you for an hour just to hold your hand. This entire journey is full of uncertainty, and anyone who embarks on it must know they’ll need to work on themselves, develop resilience, and withstand the emotional pressure that comes with applying for a top-tier MBA. Eli isn’t there for emotional support, he’s there to get you into the school. He’s a professional. And he is a professional of the highest level: in his knowledge, his skill, his precision, his dedication. Eli chose to work with me even when my starting point described above was far from ideal, but he believed in me and in my story from the very first moment. Even on the day of the final deadline for decisions, when the answer still hadn’t arrived and I was spiraling with stress, Eli told me he was calm, that my candidacy was strong enough, and that it would work out.
In the end, with Eli’s help, we succeeded. A few weeks from now, I’m set to begin my MBA at INSEAD – a life-changing journey. Eli David has a huge part in this achievement, and I wholeheartedly and lovingly recommend him – not just publicly here, but also to each and every one of my close friends who are seeking advice and recommendations on their own path to business school. I trust Eli 100% to help them achieve their dreams too, just as he did, so successfully, with me.
I came to Eli late in the process, with everything riding on a single application. There was no backup plan. From the start, Eli brought total clarity. He quickly honed in on the core of my story and asked questions that pushed me to think more deeply than I ever had about my experiences and motivations.
The brainstorming was intense but focused. Eli helped me shape a narrative that was both strategic and deeply personal. Nothing was generic. Every line had a purpose. His feedback was always direct, and he never let me settle for “good enough.” If something wasn’t strong, we reworked it. If something didn’t belong, it was cut. No compromises.
What impressed me most was his responsiveness. No matter the hour or the question, he was available, sharp, and completely engaged. I felt like he was as invested in the outcome as I was.
For the interview prep, Eli matched me with one of his experts who knew the school inside out. The session was targeted, honest, and incredibly helpful. The feedback went beyond content – it helped me understand how I was coming across and what needed to shift.
In the end, I got in. One school. One shot. It worked.
If you want someone who’s kind but not soft, strategic but personal, and truly committed to your success, Eli is that person.
Unlike most applicants, I wasn’t casting a wide net. Due to personal and geographic limitations, I had exactly one school I could apply to. That meant no backup options, no second chances—just one target, and one outcome that mattered.
That’s why I reached out to Eli.
What stood out most was how early he got involved. Long before we formally started working together, Eli was already offering strategic advice—how to shape my profile, what experiences to emphasize, what gaps to close. By the time we officially kicked off the application, we weren’t starting from scratch—we were building on months of thoughtful preparation.
Eli’s school-specific knowledge is unreal. He knew how to craft a story that would resonate with this program’s DNA—what they value, how they read between the lines, what common pitfalls to avoid. Every piece of the application—essay, resume, even the subtle tone—was tailored with surgical precision.
And the availability? It felt like I had a personal advisor on call 24/7. Whether it was a question about wording, strategy, or just a moment of self-doubt, Eli was always there. No delays. No vague answers. Just straight talk, instant feedback, and a clear sense that he was as invested in the outcome as I was.
I got in. And I know exactly why: because I had the right person in my corner.
If you only have one shot—make sure you take it with Eli.
I worked with Eli over two admissions cycles, after a disappointing experience with a different consultant. In hindsight, the contrast couldn’t be more stark. That first attempt lacked direction, accountability, and depth. With Eli, it was a different game entirely.
From our very first call, Eli made one thing clear: he’s not here to hold your hand—he’s here to get results. That tone never changed. In the first year, we focused on just one dream school. The application was solid, but I fell short. Most consultants would chalk it up to bad luck or suggest playing it safer next time. Eli didn’t waste time sugarcoating. He gave it to me straight and immediately laid out a no-nonsense plan for the following year.
We went all in. Four schools, deep introspection, and an entirely reimagined strategy. Eli pushed me harder than anyone ever has—from the resume to the essays to the interviews. We dissected every word, every story, and every choice. If it didn’t serve the core message, it didn’t make the cut. Period.
And the outcome? I was admitted to two top MBA programs.
What sets Eli apart is not just the brutal honesty or the around-the-clock availability (though those are very real). It’s that he is obsessed with outcomes. He doesn’t do fluff. He doesn’t care about looking nice. He cares about making your application bulletproof.
If you’re looking for a “friendly” consultant who tells you everything sounds great, keep looking. If you want someone who sees your blind spots, demands excellence, and won’t rest until you succeed, Eli is your guy.
Best decision I made in this process. Twice.
I came to Eli thinking I knew exactly what I wanted—one dream school, one shot. But what I got was so much more than just an application strategy; I got a mentor, a strategist, and a true champion of my success.
From day one, Eli saw a bigger picture for me than I saw for myself. While I had my heart set on one school, he pushed me to think beyond and introduced me to other top-5 programs that I had never truly considered. He didn’t just throw names at me—he carefully analyzed my aspirations, my strengths, and my story, showing me why these schools were not only within reach but also perfect fits for my future.
His approach was brutally honest but deeply invested. He didn’t sugarcoat anything, and he never let me settle. Every essay, every sentence, every word had to serve a purpose. And when I thought something was “good enough,” Eli made me dig deeper—because “good enough” wasn’t an option.
Beyond the essays, beyond the applications, Eli was there for the emotional rollercoaster of this journey. The moments of doubt, the stress, the endless ‘what-ifs’—he navigated them with me. He wasn’t just my consultant; he was the one person who believed in me even when I doubted myself.
And the result? I got into my dream school. And then I got into another. And another. Schools I never thought I had a shot at suddenly became my reality, and I owe that to Eli’s vision, dedication, and relentless pursuit of excellence.
If you’re looking for someone who will simply “help” with your applications, Eli isn’t for you. But if you want someone who will change the way you see your own potential, push you beyond your limits, and turn your wildest goals into reality, there is no one better.
Thank you, Eli. You didn’t just help me get into a great school—you changed my life.
When I was looking for a consultant, I wanted more than just expertise and experience—I wanted someone who would truly invest in my journey. Eli exceeded every expectation. 1. Eli made my goals his priority. He asked me where I wanted to go and did everything to help me get there. He was upfront about the challenges in my profile but also helped me recognize and amplify my strengths. Unlike some consultants who push clients toward safer options or encourage mass applications to maximize acceptances, Eli motivated me to aim high, believe in my potential, and put in the work to reach my top choices. 2. The process was entirely tailored to me. For example, I wanted to start interview prep early—even before submitting my applications—because I felt it might be a weak spot. Eli immediately adapted, setting up weekly sessions and giving me more mock interviews than usual, all without extra fees. The structure wasn’t rigid or one-size-fits-all; it was customized to focus on the areas where I needed the most support, and that made all the difference. 3. My application remained mine. I didn’t want a consultant who would take over or rewrite my story—I wanted guidance, not someone to do the work for me. Eli struck the perfect balance. He provided thoughtful feedback, challenged me to refine my ideas, and elevated my writing while ensuring it still felt entirely like my own voice. Even when I made choices that differed from his initial recommendations, he fully supported me and helped me execute them at the highest level. 4. Eli kept me focused and composed. The MBA admissions process is intense and emotionally draining, and I needed someone who would keep me moving forward without getting caught up in the stress. Eli’s calm, structured approach helped me stay on track. He never let me spiral over small setbacks, and even when I felt exhausted, he held me accountable and pushed me to keep improving. I never imagined I would get into 4 out of the 5 schools I applied to. The process was competitive and demanding, yet I came out of it feeling stronger and more confident—and I owe so much of that to Eli. If you’re looking for a consultant who will genuinely invest in your success, adapt to your needs, and keep the process both strategic and empowering, I can’t recommend Eli enough. The results speak for themselves.
Working with Eli David was a transformative experience that I cannot recommend highly enough. From our very first conversation, Eli demonstrated a deep understanding of the MBA admissions process and an unparalleled ability to bring out the best in my story.
What sets Eli apart is his personalized approach. He truly invests in your success, taking the time to understand your background, goals, and unique strengths. His ability to craft a compelling narrative that resonates with top programs is extraordinary. Throughout the process, I felt like I was not just a client but a partner in a collaborative journey.
Eli’s attention to detail is impeccable. Whether it was mapping my life stories, refining essay drafts, or preparing for interviews, his feedback was always thoughtful, actionable, and insightful. His commitment to excellence inspired me to push beyond my limits, and it’s no surprise that he’s recognized as one of the best in the industry.
Beyond his technical expertise, Eli’s mentorship was invaluable. He provided constant encouragement and guidance, helping me navigate the stressful admissions process with confidence and clarity.
Thanks to Eli, I was admitted to my dream program, and I couldn’t be more grateful. If you’re looking for an advisor who will go above and beyond to ensure your success, Eli David is the one to choose.
I cannot give enough praise to Eli and his process. When I began my MBA admissions journey, I never expected to be where I am today—with three M7 acceptance letters in Round 1. Eli is, without a doubt, the biggest factor in my success. His mentorship, guidance, and support allowed me to achieve what once seemed impossible.
A friend recommended Eli to me after I had spoken to a few other consultants. From the very first conversation, I knew Eli was the right person for the job. He understood my situation, laid out a clear plan to achieve our goals, and assured me that if I followed his guidance, he would lead me to success. He fulfilled that promise above and beyond my expectations.
I always felt like I was Eli’s top priority. He was consistently available—not just for practical questions about my applications, but also for emotional encouragement when the process felt overwhelming. It was evident that Eli had an in-depth understanding of every school, which allowed him to craft the best and most efficient strategy for meeting the round 1 application deadlines. We went back and forth on every single essay and document, with Eli refusing to settle for anything less than excellence before allowing me to move on to the next step.
After securing interviews, Eli continued to guide me through the interview process. He provided practice sessions, offered detailed guidelines, and remained available at all times to answer any questions that came up. I can confidently say that my success in the interviews was largely due to his help.
I’ll be starting my MBA this summer, fulfilling a lifelong dream, and I can say with 100% certainty that this would not have been possible without Eli. I wholeheartedly recommend him to any prospective client, knowing he will be the best decision you make.
GSB has been my dream school for years, and it’s truly the only one that matters to me. I connected with Eli through a college friend who was successfully admitted to GSB and spoke highly of his approach – direct, sharp, and practical. I can confirm those after working with Eli – he’s incredibly experienced, efficient, and knows exactly what works and what doesn’t. Thanks to his guidance, after brainstorming 20+ ideas, we together built up a very strong narrative and it only took me 3 iterations to finalize the notoriously challenging GSB Essay A (I had initially braced myself for 10 – 20 drafts!). In addition to that, I thought Eli was a “tough coach” at the beginning, but I soon realized he has a soft heart – he just provided tremendous emotional support to me. The application process can be overwhelming and even make you feel paranoid, but Eli was always there to call and cheer me on, he just offered so much encouragement when I needed it most. I would absolutely recommend Eli to any of my friends – his support can truly change the game!
Eli David (Ivy MBA Consulting) pushed me out of my comfort zone and challenged me at every step, but it was exactly what I needed to succeed. If you are serious about getting into a top MBA program and willing to put in the effort, Eli is the consultant you want by your side. His expertise, honesty, and dedication were game-changing for me, and I cannot recommend him highly enough.
I worked with Eli for about six months, and the results speak for themselves – I got accepted into three M7s, each with significant scholarships. Eli’s deep understanding of what it takes to gain admission to the most competitive MBA programs is unmatched. His ability to analyze my profile and craft a compelling narrative was crucial to my success. His insights are razor-sharp, and his familiarity with every nuance of the application process gave me confidence and clarity.
It wasn’t just his expertise that made a difference. What truly sets Eli apart is his brutal honesty. He doesn’t sugarcoat feedback or settle for mediocrity. If a narrative, essay, or even a single word didn’t fit the larger picture, he challenged me to rethink and refine it until it was perfect. This commitment to excellence ensured that my application was polished.
Over six months, I cannot recall a single instance where I waited more than 48 hours for a response to a question or feedback on an essay; most of the time, it was much quicker. Eli’s responsiveness gave me peace of mind, knowing that I could always count on him for support, no matter how busy the application season became.
Beyond responsiveness, Eli’s network is another incredible asset that gave me an edge. He introduced me to graduates from all the M7 MBA programs, which gave me invaluable insights into what I was getting into. These connections helped me refine my school selection and understand the culture, opportunities, and expectations of each program.
I am thrilled to share my experience working with Eli David on my MBA applications. With his help, I gained admission to 3 M7s with scholarship money, and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome.
From our initial consultation, it was clear that Eli possessed a deep understanding of the MBA admissions landscape. He took the time to listen to my unique background and aspirations, which allowed him to help me craft a compelling narrative that truly captured who I am. He was extremely knowledgeable about each of the schools on my list and helped me to connect my prior work experience with my future goals in a way that resonated with the admissions committees through my resume, essays, and interviews. I got several compliments from interviewers about how interesting and clearly articulated my story was, and I feel that Eli was instrumental in helping me develop my craft a unique narrative that was still true to my experience and goals.
I especially appreciated the support Eli provided for my applications for schools other than the ones specifically included in the package I had purchased. Eli went above and beyond to help me plan out how to use the material we had worked on for my other applications, and he was always responsive and happy to answer questions about any part of the process.
Eli’s personalized approach made a huge difference in my MBA application journey. I highly recommend him to anyone who wants to do everything possible to maximize their chances of admission to the best MBA programs in the world.
I owe Eli so much. He dedicated countless hours and days to guiding me through every step of my journey, never once letting me feel alone in the process. What makes Eli truly exceptional is that he believes in you more than you believe in yourself. He doesn’t just coach; he cheers you on, reminds you of your potential, and helps you see what you’re truly capable of. When I didn’t get accepted in my first year, I was devastated. Other consultants told me I wouldn’t make it, but Eli never gave up on me. He believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself, and together we fought for a second chance. We carefully addressed every concern and comment, refining my application to make it stronger. Thanks to Eli, I got accepted into Wharton—a result I couldn’t have imagined without his belief and dedication. Eli doesn’t rush through the work or treat you like just another client. He invests his time, effort, and heart into ensuring you put your best self forward. Even when I doubted myself, he never did. He pushed me to aim higher and work harder, always with patience, care, and relentless support. If you’re looking for someone who will champion your dreams, stand by your side, and truly believe in you, Eli is the consultant you need. He’s more than a guide—he’s the reason I got here.
I found Eli through a trusted recommendation from a colleague that I admired at work who had attended a top MBA program. Following our initial consultation call, I immediately knew that Eli was the partner I needed to navigate the MBA application process. As a deferred MBA applicant – I knew that the odds of admission where much slimmer in comparison to traditional programs due to the limited number of seats. During our initial consultation, Eli was straightforward about this fact, allowing me to reflect on my long-term career vision. Working with Eli allowed me to secure deferred admission to 3 M7’s + Harvard Business School.
Eli’s straightforward honesty was integral towards my application process. His immense amount of experience and expertise within MBA admissions allowed him to give me direct feedback and on which parts of my application best fit my overarching narrative, and what needed more work. Eli was integral in helping me connect the dots between my personal, professional, and extracurricular experiences. He knew the nuanced differences between each school, and helped me effectively target my essays towards each school’s strengths and interests. Through Eli’s help, not only was I able to convey compelling narratives through my essays, but I also was allowed the opportunity to for some deep introspection, strengthening my passion towards my long-erm aspirations.
Eli made me feel like a #1 priority, and was always accessible. Whether it was an email, text, or phone call, Eli was always there to answer my questions and assist with my applications. When trying to meet tight deadlines, there were even instances where Eli would go back-and-forth with me between multiple drafts, as if we were in a live session. This prompt responsiveness and support where integral in being able to overcome the daunting task of applying to numerous business school’s in a short amount of time.
I’ll be attending HBS, an absolute life-long dream of mine, and this wouldn’t have been possible without Eli and his support. I would highly recommend Eli to any prospective client, he will truly change your life.
This review is long overdue, but it’s better late than never when it comes to praising Eli David, the most amazing MBA admissions consultant. He is a true professional and understands the delicate nuances of each and every school. Thanks to Eli, I was accepted to Booth with a merit-based scholarship!

I spoke to a few consultants but after hearing rave reviews from so many friends who had achieved their goals with his help, I knew I had to reach out to him. My target was exceptionally challenging: an M7 program with a full scholarship. The odds were not in my favor, but Eli’s confidence never wavered. His remarkable accomplishment of securing my admission to MIT in Round 3, which is notoriously challenging , speaks volumes about his effectiveness and commitment. If you’re seeking an MBA consultant who goes above and beyond, Eli is the one to trust.
My wife and I applied as a couple, and both worked with Eli during the past application season.
We found Eli through P&Q after my Booth DIY application was rejected in my R1 application. Despite having only two months until the R2 deadline, Eli effectively helped us navigate the process. He carefully reviewed our materials, accurately identified the shortcomings in our application, and provided crucial support that ultimately led to our acceptance at HBS, GSB, and CBS as a couple!
Eli’s approach stands out compared to other consultants we’ve worked with in several ways: 1) He efficiently assisted us in selecting an appropriate career goal based on our background and his own experience; 2) He employed a unique evaluation system for application materials that proved to be highly effective; 3) He offered sincere and direct feedback to our application materials, continuously pushing us to exceed our limits.
We feel incredibly fortunate to have collaborated with Eli during this application season, and we hope that more candidates can achieve their goals through Eli’s guidance!
I am a 3rd-time applicant for H and S. Eli got me in both. He has a strong sense of the right direction and is incredibly candid in telling you what works and what doesn’t. He is particularly good at finding out the overall image that makes the most sense for you. Call him. He is just life-changing.
I could not over-express my gratitude for Eli. He understands the real ‘art’ of MBA applications, especially for highly competitive programs like Stanford and Harvard. His guidance truly helped me anchor myself and achieved my goals – going into the process, I only had one school that I wanted to attend: GSB. No other schools mattered. I had good work experiences but my GPA was below GSB’s average. Knowing the low admission rate of 6%, it was naturally a daunting process, and I was clueless on how to tackle the giant. Eli gets what makes an application unique that stands out from a large pool: the essay. He took the lead and really helped shape the entire application from start to finish that I also felt satisfied to submit – I felt that even if I don’t get in, this is the story I would like to tell about myself. We workshopped a lot in the beginning to get to the most defining aspects of my life and turned it into a beautiful essay. When I received the physical acceptance letter from GSB, the admissions director hand-wrote on my letter saying how much she was touched from it. This is a result inseparable from Eli and his team’s work.
Aside from the essay, Eli was also fully responsible for all other parts of the application, including interview prep and resume building. I had zero friction working with him and his team – he was always available and his communication style is straight to the point. He has a great attention to detail that perfected all of my materials.

Eli is absolutely incredible! I went into the MBA application process quite nervous, but Eli’s coaching and feedback enabled me to tell my authentic story – and the MBA programs saw that too! I applied to HBS, Stanford, and Wharton, received interviews at all three schools, and gained admission into HBS and Wharton!!! I could not be more happy with my decision.
The devil is in the details, and what sets Eli apart is his meticulous feedback at every step of the process. He is incredibly thorough and constantly pushed me to dig deeper, whether that was with the resume, the essays, or the short-answer questions sprinkled throughout every application. Additionally, Eli is ALWAYS available. I could send an email or pick up the phone and he would be on the other end, willing to talk for as long as I needed. The MBA application process is not easy, and Eli was always there to answer my questions. Lastly, Eli is invested. He cares about my passions and my success as much as I do. From the countless hours of conversations to the congratulations phone call, Eli was my champion. Having that throughout the application process made all the difference in the world.
Eli David is so amazing, and I know that I would not be here without him! I truly cannot make a higher recommendation.
I reached out to Eli based on recommendations from two friends who had worked with him and had only praise for his services. After discussing with 2-3 more consultants, I knew that Eli was the one I wanted to work with. His absolute honesty in telling me what I needed to hear rather than what I wanted to hear stood out from the first moment, and I immediately felt he was the right consultant for me. From our first discussion, which took place about a year before starting the formal process, Eli provided insightful recommendations on how to utilize the time until beginning the applications in the best possible way. I found all of his suggestions to be very accurate, and they positioned me significantly better for the process. Eli’s exceptional knowledge about each school and its unique characteristics was mind-blowing to me. He assisted in selecting the right schools to target according to my goals and helped plan an overall strategy for handling all the applications and determining which ones should be prioritized. In each part of the application, I felt Eli was pushing me to my absolute edge and not compromising for anything less than perfection. His attention to even the smallest details led me to submit applications that I couldn’t be prouder of, ones I had only dreamed of when I first started. I ultimately was accepted to NYU, which was one of my top choices due to its location in NYC, with a full scholarship. I know for a fact that I could not have achieved such a result without Eli, and I’m extremely thankful for choosing him to guide me through the process.
I embarked on a transformative 10-month journey with Eli, and it was nothing short of exceptional. From our first contact to the happy moment when I received acceptance letters from two M7 schools, Eli was the driving force behind my success.

Even when I thought my stories were flawless, Eli’s keen eye provided a fresh perspective and unearthed highlights that I hadn’t considered. His dedication to extracting the best from my experiences allowed me to present myself in a way that truly stood out.
Navigating a complex background that didn’t neatly align with typical business school expectations, Eli proved to be a master storyteller. He skillfully distilled the essence of my journey, crafting a narrative that showcased my unique strengths and achievements in the most professional and compelling manner.
What truly set Eli apart was his accessibility and prompt responsiveness. Every question, every concern, and every request met with an exceptional level of attention. Eli’s responsiveness was not just timely; it was a testament to his commitment to my success.
In conclusion, Eli’s guidance was instrumental in my acceptance to two M7 schools.

Here is a recommendation from someone who just got admitted into Booth with a full-ride scholarship! Generally, the application process to your dream school can be very frustrating, with lots of ups and downs. In this important stage of your life, you would want a trustworthy guy next to you. I cannot overestimate the value of a good consultant. When I conducted market research among different consultants, after my first call to Eli, I felt that he was different from the others. He was so professional and quickly got a perception of who I am, giving me the feeling that he was 100% with me in this process, no matter what, and that my success would be his success. I have come to understand that Eli is the best choice for me. Now, in hindsight, I could not have chosen a better match for this mission.
During the application process, Eli not only guided me through every little step in this exhausting journey, but he also knew how to draw out the best in me. I really loved the outcome of our work together. In total, I spent hour upon hour talking with Eli, refining every single word in my essays, and there is no way I would have achieved this high level of essays without him. He has lots of experience, and that is prominent!
On a personal level, I so appreciate his genuine, honest, and straightforward approach. He would tell you exactly what he thinks is best for you without filtering, and he was super available at any time for any question I had… Not a single question that he couldn’t answer. I also felt that he was invested in this process almost more than I was, which is so appreciable and not obvious at all for a consultant who works with other clients at the same time.
I am so happy I chose to work with Eli, and I highly recommend him! He is the one who will lead you to achieve your prestigious goals throughout this long journey. So don’t miss this opportunity. Good luck, everyone!
I recently had the privilege of working with Eli as my admissions consultant for the MBA application process, and I felt compelled to share my experience, especially considering the impact he had on my successful admissions to Booth and MIT. Searching for a MBA consultant, my interactions with several consultants left me feeling that they didn’t truly grasp the nuances of my story. However, my first call with Eli transformed my perspective entirely. He exuded a level of understanding and appreciation for the uniqueness of my profile that immediately instilled confidence in me. Eli wasted no time in acknowledging the distinctiveness of my profile and assuring me that I had a genuine chance. His ability to creatively connect the dots in my non-traditional background was nothing short of impressive. Through our collaboration, he guided me in ways I hadn’t considered, adding a creative dimension to my application that I wouldn’t have achieved on my own. What set Eli apart was his availability. It often felt like he was on call almost 24/7. As deadlines approached, his dedication became even more evident. Eli matched, if not exceeded, my own level of effort, tirelessly reviewing and refining my essays until they reached perfection. I particularly appreciated Eli’s no-nonsense approach. If something wasn’t right, he didn’t hesitate to raise a flag. This direct and honest feedback was invaluable in shaping my application into its best possible form. The true testament to Eli’s expertise came when I received acceptance letters from Booth and MIT Sloan—schools that initially seemed like a distant dream. Eli’s guidance and strategic approach proved instrumental in turning those dreams into reality. He is undeniably a magician in the world of MBA admissions, and I wholeheartedly recommend reaching out to him if you’re serious about transforming your prospects. Buckle up and call Eli; he’s a game-changer.
First things first – I wouldn’t have been admitted to Stanford GSB if it weren’t for Eli! Eli truly cares about your story. Our first conversation lasted over an hour, during which we delved deep into who I am, what led me to this point, and my aspirations, revealing things even my closest friends didn’t know about me. Beyond being a consultant Eli was also my mentor. He guided me through navigating career choices and decisions regarding retaking the GMAT (again and again!), even before I officially hired him. What sets him apart is his consistent honesty – there’s no pushy sales pitch or false promises. If he takes you on as a client, it’s because he genuinely believes in your potential. He won’t advocate for applying to any school unless he sees a real chance of success. His approach is highly pragmatic. Don’t expect sugarcoating or false hope – he’s here to be straightforward and critical. He’s sharp and emotionally intelligent, able to identify a good (or bad) story from the first sentence. Another amazing thing about working with Eli was his rapid availability and responsiveness, despite significant time zone differences. Whether it was a quick email or detailed feedback, he consistently replied within 24 hours, if not sooner. In the crucial two weeks leading up to the application deadline, it felt like he was online 24/7, providing support, positivity, and motivation when I needed it the most.
I truly couldn’t have achieved it without Eli’s expertise and mentorship. I couldn’t recommend him more!
I chose to collaborate with Eli based on his outstanding reputation and the warm recommendations I received from friends who had worked with him and successfully gained admission to top MBA programs. From our initial conversation, I sensed that he was the right person to guide me through this process, and today I can confidently affirm that it was the best choice I could have made.
Even before starting to work on the application itself, Eli’s exceptional experience was evident as he provided valuable insights regarding schools, scholarship opportunities, and various professional aspects, which played a crucial role in helping me select the programs to apply for.
Throughout the entire process, what truly made working with Eli so exceptional was his true professionalism. In a highly skilled manner, he managed to bring out the best in me, helping to leverage all my life experiences to create an application that showcased my strengths. He consistently challenged me to think more deeply and aim higher, leaving no loose ends in crafting the perfect version of each part of the application.
Moreover, Eli assisted me in preparing for the interviews, and his advice was crucial to my success. He guided me in shaping my answers, worked on refining my tone and self-presentation, and conducted numerous mock interviews that played a key role in building my confidence and presenting the best version of myself in real-time.
What was also remarkable was Eli’s great accessibility. Even during weekends, he was always available, patiently answering any question I had. He provided honest and constructive feedback in a timely manner, which was very helpful, especially before the application deadlines.
I am really glad I chose to work with Eli. Thanks to his unwavering commitment, I secured acceptance to two top MBA programs. Thank you, Eli, for helping me achieve my goal!
