Got gavriella to prep for HBS interviews , and she was super helpful all the way through. She gave me pre-mock interview questions to practice. And her questions during the mock interview covered the topics that I tackled during the real interview. Overall her mock interview helped me calm down and feel more prepared, which gave me confidence during the real interview. Thanks Gavriella.
Working hourly with Julie-Anne starting at the back half of my MBA admissions process provided me with valuable direction and feedback in order to mold my resume, essays and short answers to the MBA Admission audience. While I had a lot of great content in first drafts, Julie-Anne assisted with streamlining and structuring the materials to emphasize and showcase what MBA Admissions personnel is looking for while cutting out unnecessary clutter.
Choosing the right MBA admissions consultant can be a game-changer in the application process, and my experience with Jessica was nothing short of outstanding. From our initial conversation, it was evident that Jessica possessed a deep understanding of the MBA admissions landscape, paired with a genuine commitment to my success.
The personalized approach was the first aspect that stood out. Jessica took the time to understand my unique background, career aspirations, and personal values, ensuring that every piece of advice and strategy was tailored to my specific goals. This level of customization made a significant difference, especially when crafting my essays and prepping for interviews.
Jessica’s expertise in storytelling is her true “super power”. She helped me articulate my experiences and vision in a compelling and coherent manner. Her feedback was always constructive, detailed, and insightful, pushing me to refine my narrative until it resonated with clarity and impact.
Additionally, her support extended beyond just the application materials. Jessica provided moral support and guidance throughout the often stressful process, reminding me to stay true to myself and my aspirations.
The results speak for themselves. I was accepted into HBS and GSB, and I attribute a significant part of my success to Jessica’s guidance. I HIGHLY recommend Jessica to anyone seeking a partner who will invest deeply in their MBA journey and help them achieve their highest potential.
Devi’s unwavering passion for helping HBS candidates was evident in every interaction we had, from start to finish. She went above and beyond to support me in my journey towards gaining admittance to HBS, providing me with all the necessary resources and then some, ensuring my success. Devi’s guidance and mentorship extended beyond the interview room, as she challenged me in various ways that helped me grow both personally and professionally. With her expertise, Devi helped me uncover and articulate the key themes of my life story, even those that were not apparent to me initially. After just two sessions with Devi, I felt prepared and excited to walk into my interview with a newfound confidence. I firmly believe that no other individual could have had the same profound impact on my interview preparation and helped me become the best version of myself like Devi did.
Harshad was an invaluable resource during my MBA application process. His knowledge of what each business school was looking for in particular and how to connect that with my professional experiences and post mba goals in a concise and elegant way, was critical in me being accepted into my 2 of my top schools: Fuqua (with scholarship) and Tuck. He also helped me get an interview with HBS but unfortunately, I didn’t interview well enough to gain admission. Harshad pushed me to write the best essays I possibly could and therefore put my best foot forward.
Since Harshad and I were both engineers prior to business school, he has a personal understanding of the strengths and weaknesses I currently have, how I will add value to business school communities, and what I will gain from business school. He has also been more helpful than anyone else when it comes to developing and refining both my short- and long-term career goals.
Harshad’s feedback style is open, honest, and direct which is a perfect match for me. However, my favorite part about Harshad is that genuinely cares about me, my well-being, and success during business school and beyond. It is challenging to balance the MBA application process with work and everything else in life, so having someone like Harshad to support me was priceless. He went above and beyond his responsibilities on several occasions and was rooting for me the entire time. He was worth the money and then some, my scholarship offer covered the cost by far.
It was great personality match for me. Responses were fast and got my admit into an M7!
Harshad has amazing insights into crafting great admission applications.
I had the privilege of working with Nisha throughout my MBA application journey, and I cannot express enough gratitude for her support and expertise. From start to finish, Nisha demonstrated unparalleled dedication and skill.
Nisha’s approach was comprehensive and personalized. She took the time to truly understand my background, aspirations, and strengths, allowing her to guide me effectively in crafting a compelling narrative for my applications. She was instrumental in helping me articulate my career goals and align them with my chosen schools’ missions and values.
One of Nisha’s standout qualities is her timely and meticulous feedback. Whether it was refining my essays, strategizing school selections, or preparing for interviews, she consistently provided insightful suggestions that enhanced the quality of my applications. Her constructive criticism was always delivered with a dose of encouragement, fostering an environment of positivity and growth.
Thanks to Nisha’s guidance, I received admission offers from five T15 programs, including one with a scholarship. Her expertise undoubtedly played a pivotal role in this success.
The sage advice and guidance helped me craft my best story that was authentic and showed my X factor!
Devi challenged me to think and reflect deeply on what pivotal moments in my life shaped my life trajectory and how these milestones impacted my career. Her deliberate and thoughtful approach helped me connect the dots in my life to build a cohesive narrative that represented who I was and what I would bring to the HBS community. Devi pushed me to find my most impactful stories by being candid and at times providing some honest and constructive feedback if my stories needed sharpening or didn’t land as anticipated.
I also worked with Devi on my GSB application. The main essay, arguably the most challenging business school essay, was when Devi really showed her well rounded approach superpower. Devi pushed me to dig really deep and continue peeling back the layers of my life story to find truly what matters most to me. Each time we spoke in the application process, I could tell she invested a lot of time in the prep work behind the scenes and always helped me never settle on under developed thoughts. Our hard work together also resulted in a GSB admit too!
When Devi and I began working together, I felt nervous and unsure of how to approach the MBA essays and interview processes. Devi’s thoughtful guidance and rigorous feedback enabled me to identify the most important elements of my personal and professional background, then communicate them succinctly and effectively throughout the application process. Not only did Devi help me to identify the most compelling possible themes to explore in my essays, she also provided valuable coaching on how to communicate my story and niche industry expertise in a direct, coherent, and effective manner in my HBS interview across multiple interview prep sessions.
If you are serious about attending your dream MBA program, I’d highly recommend working with Devi. Her tough love, deep expertise, and commitment to utmost excellence will enable you to put your best foot forward!
I worked with Devi after watching many videos of her online, including those on the P&Q YouTube channel. After doing a mock with a colleague, I knew I needed targeted feedback and a simulation of the real experience as closely as possible. Having watched Devi’s mock interview of John, I felt I would benefit greatly from working with her, and luckily she had time in her calendar to accommodate me.
Although I could only take one mock, Devi left no stone unturned in preparing for our time together. She had read every piece of material I shared, and had come armed with the questions that would best identify and help me cover my blind spots. She was kind yet direct, and spent more than our allotted time at the end making sure I understood next steps, and reviewing with me the strategies we discussed.
Post interview, Devi was extremely swift and helpful in supporting me to write my post-interview reflection, guiding me with what content was most appropriate and how best to frame it in the context of the my interview. I felt able to rest easy after sending it off, knowing I had benefitted from her thought partnership.
Overall, working with Devi was a fantastic investment in my journey to being admitted to HBS, and her kind and supportive approach was the cherry on top!
Thank you Devi & the mbaMission team!
Devi is honest, direct, and very insightful. I had not worked with a consultant throughout the application process until I was selected for an HBS interview. Devi helped me fill in the gaps across our two prep sessions within the week before my interview. Her guidance significantly improved my ability to communicate my experiences verbally. Devi is awesome.
Jessica Shklar’s expertise as an MBA admissions consultant exceeded all expectations. From the outset, she demonstrated a keen ability to discern underlying themes in my life story that I hadn’t even recognized. Her insightful approach during our brainstorming session was instrumental in uncovering connections that added depth and coherence to my application.
Throughout the entire process, Jessica’s dedication was unwavering. She remained readily available and consistently pushed me to refine every aspect of my application until it met her exacting standards. Whether it was meticulously polishing my resume or meticulously refining my short answer responses, she left no stone unturned in ensuring that my application stood out.
As a non-traditional applicant, Jessica’s guidance was invaluable in shaping my narrative and presenting my experiences in a manner that resonated with business school admissions committees. Her collaborative approach, which included soliciting feedback from her colleagues, ensured that my application was both compelling and comprehensible.
Moreover, Jessica’s interview preparation sessions were nothing short of exceptional. She struck the perfect balance between thorough preparation and natural spontaneity, enabling me to confidently navigate the interview process. Thanks to her guidance and support, I received offers from multiple top-tier schools, including an acceptance to Wharton, which I will be attending this fall. Without a doubt, Jessica Shklar’s expertise was instrumental in my success, and I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone seeking guidance in the MBA admissions process.
Debbie helped me get into both of my top choices, GSB and HBS!
In short, I could not have imagined the process without Debbie. From the start, she broke down a hefty work burden into a manageable timeline, even though I felt I had a late start to R2 applications. We developed a modified calendar and covered tasks in order of priority. When I found myself getting caught in the minutiae of essay/application edits, her feedback drew me back to the big picture.
Debbie also balanced high-impact feedback with preservation of my voice–I felt my final essays to be the most refined and authentic representation of me. She dove deep during the brainstorming process to understand all corners of my experiences, while keeping in mind the values specific to each school. When we started interview prep, she reminded me of stories even I had forgotten, and she guided me on how to frame these stories with an impact-oriented angle. I left each conversation feeling more confident in myself. In many ways, Debbie’s care allowed me to uncover more of my authentic self in the application process.
Nisha is wonderful to work with! She helped me brainstorm meaningful stories for my essays and made sure I highlighted my impact in the most efficient ways. Her quick turnaround time for feedback is impeccable, and she is very communicative about her time availability. Couldn’t have gotten into Stanford without her!
Working with Gavriella was wonderful and easily the differentiator in my admissions results. Going into applications, I knew my biggest pitfalls would be my low GPA and lower GRE. Gavriella helped me highlight the positives of my application, like my unique career goals and ambitions. She also never made me feel less than for my less than stats. She excelled at helping me craft the perfect story for each essay and she was a wizard in editing and cutting down word counts! After each draft we worked through, I felt more confident in my story and in my abilities. Ultimately, I was accepted to Ross (with $$) and Booth!!!! I couldn’t have done it without Gavriella.
There a lot of reviews of outstanding consultants but what set Gavriella apart for me was her strong vote of confidence in me. I did not receive many of these in my journey to an MBA and it was so important for me to work with someone who valued results over an hourly fee. Thank you, Gavriella!!!
Harshad was the best possible consultant, mentor and financial investment throughout my MBA application experience. I was debating using an MBA consultant as it is a sizable investment, but it was the most worthwhile money I spent on anything throughout the entire process from tutors to test prep classes to books etc. I ended up only having a month to submit 8 applications and I truly couldn’t have done it without Harshad. When I met with Harshad for the free intro session, he was the perfect balance of complimentary and realistic about my background and business school prospects. I bought a school package and it was invaluable as I leveraged him for everything including guidance on where I should apply, my resume, my essays, random one-off questions about the applications, the interviews and even choosing which offer I should accept. He even helped me learn how to negotiate scholarships, which I would’ve never known was a possibility otherwise and is enough return on investment itself. I would 100% recommend the school package over the hourly because I ended up frequently emailing him with lots of little one off questions and there was so much support for things I hadn’t anticipated.
Professionally, Harshad was always timely (insanely fast at turning around feedback) and provided extremely helpful positive and critical feedback. He is straightforward and doesn’t beat around the bush which I really appreciated. There was one week when I was practically meeting with him every night, sending him materials after our meeting that night, and he would provide feedback by the next day for us to review that evening. He even provided support over the winter holiday season which was extremely helpful given my timeline for R2 submissions.
But even more than just the professional guidance, Harshad was a critical emotional support pillar and instilled confidence in myself that I never would’ve had otherwise. Harshad pushed me to apply to schools I never thought I’d have a chance of getting into and I ended up being accepted! I went through a tough relationship break up during the one month I had to write my applications and Harshad called to check on me (extremely kind and supportive) and gave me time to process but also made sure to keep me on track so that I could get in all my applications. He constantly encouraged me and made me feel proud of my accomplishments during a tough time in my life and made sure to tell me I shouldn’t doubt myself. Harshad has a very high EQ and I can fully endorse him as a female client in saying that I would recommend him for any gender or background. I have no engineering background either and it made no difference- I truly think he could help anyone. He even had helpful pointers and tips regarding my application as a female and what my experience in business school could entail as a female. I can not say enough good things about Harshad. I’ve talked about him to all of my family and friends and they are all in agreement that he is essentially a superhero. Definitely work with Harshad if you can!!!
I am an international student from the CIS, working in tech. I’ve been working with Katy for Round 2 application cycle, and I could not wish for a better partner to guide me. There are several points to support this statement.
First, Katy is incredibly knowledgeable about the subject area and realistic. I first contacted Katy in late May, looking to apply in Round 1 and she, having realized that I had not had my GMAT taken at the time, discouraged me from applying in Round 1, because I simply won’t be able to craft a strong application, juggling GMAT prep, applications and full-time work. Also, before we kicked-off Round 2 application, she made sure that even with a high GMAT score I keep my expectations realistic. She helped me to brainstorm the application strategy and select schools I would be better off given my career ambitions.
Second, Katy is incredibly dedicated. She really delved into my background from the get-go, and took time to understand me, my personality, my motivation and career journey — and she managed to did it better than I understood it myself. She helped me to look at my career as a side observer and pick up the themes about me that I had not realized myself. That new perspective was really instrumental in the preparation process as it helped me to write candid and personal responses to the schools’ essay questions.
Third, Katy is very structured and methodical with her approach to work. She has all the materials ready to help you think about yourself, she is upfront with turnaround times and her work/holiday schedule months in advance, relentless in constant quality improvement (if time permits), she helps you to gather the thoughts in the right form in preparation for the interviews, and, finally, provides relevant consideration points as you get the good news from several schools.
Finally, Katy has an amazing personality, she is very open, kind and funny. I considered several other consultants, and I am so happy that I decided to proceed with Katy. I applied to 5 schools, got accepted into 4 (with scholarship in Wharton) and waitlisted in Chicago Booth, I certainly would not be as successful without her.
Be prepared to work a lot with Katy, but it’s worth it.
Heidi is an absolutely amazing MBA consultant, but she is much more than! She’s the mentor and coach you want to have on your side during an application process which can be tedious, nerve-wracking, and filled with ups and downs. Heidi really tries to understand you as a unique individual and has an invaluable knack for identifying the best aspects of your personality (which you might not have considered) to make you shine in a crowded applicant pool. Heidi took my overrepresented finance background and found ways to showcase my academic, professional and personal accomplishments in a new light which was crucial to pitching a differentiated candidacy.
She is a breeze to work with and her rapid response times, thoughtful and creative suggestions and perennially positive attitude will provide a much-needed anchor when you’re juggling your professional responsibilities with multiple applications and myriad essay prompts.
If you want to shoot for a top business school, look no further than Heidi!
I want to start this review by giving a bit of context on my background and why I chose to look for MBA consulting services. I’m a Middle Eastern female first-generation graduate who had zero knowledge (except what was available to me on forums, etc) on how to start my MBA journey. I didn’t personally know anyone who had pursued an MBA. I decided to look into consulting services and at first, I was taken aback by how expensive they were. However, I did my due diligence and ensured I was putting my money where I would get the most value. Enter the wonderful Jessica Shklar. Most consultants will offer a free call for you to assess if they’d be a good match. DO THIS!!! I knew it had to be Jessica within the first 5 minutes of speaking to her. She was straight to the point, asked me direct questions, and was SO quick on her feet to solve problems. I never felt like my time was wasted or that I was falling behind. My efficiency and motivation were always on track, and she was there to support me in every single way. She was always the first person I wanted to bounce ideas off and was the first person I contacted when I felt demotivated – she’d always help me get back to where I needed to be. On a more personal note, the essays were a touchy subject for me. I wanted to talk about a personal time in my life, and I often found myself shying away from it, but Jessica helped me turn those stories into essays I’m so proud of. She brought out parts of me that I now see were crucial to mention as to why I wanted to pursue an MBA. I could not have done that without her. I’m happy to say I’ve been admitted to LBS, Cambridge and Oxford!
I started working with Jen on mock interviews after being invited to interview for LBS, Oxford and Cambridge. Her knowledge and experience with European MBAs were beyond helpful and put me at ease when I was so nervous! Everything we discussed during our mock interviews happened during my actual interviews, so it was a huge relief to be prepared. Jen is also the sweetest person, and she’ll give you the best feedback based on your personality and profile, so it really helped me bring the stories from my application to life during the interviews. I’m happy to say I got into all three schools! Thank you, Jen!
When I was fortunate enough to get my interview at HBS, I wanted to leave no doubt that I did everything I could to prepare myself to my utmost potential. And that meant working with Devi. She was able to target my weaknesses and tailor a mock interview that was indeed HARDER than the actual HBS interview such that I came away from my real interview thinking it was a cakewalk. Her post-mock feedback was invaluable and I have no doubt that working with her was what put me over the finish line. 11/10 would recommend!
Thanks to Harshad’s masterful guidance in navigating the waters of MBA applications, I achieved successes that truly would not have happened otherwise. His expert grasp of every aspect of the process, from the GMAT to applications, interviews, and beyond, gave me all of the tools and preparation I needed. This allowed me to gain admission to my dream MBA program with the best possible applicant profile I could assemble. Besides being a master of MBA applications, Harshad is also an excellent communicator and conversationalist. He’s insightful, a great listener, a candid advisor, and someone who thinks deeply about how best to position you for success. These qualities all really matter when you are spending hundreds of hours together working on something so personal. For someone who is serious about going above and beyond with their MBA applications, Harshad is your man.
Although I am not a fan of making absolute statements, I can tell you that Katy is by far the best MBA consultant you can work with. She has a truly informed perspective and “insider view” of how MBA admission committees think, is extremely generous with her time, and genuinely helped me prepare as best as I could for my interviews with both Wharton and HBS given her extensive experience. Unlike other consultants I interacted with before making a decision on who to work with, Katy’s approach felt very personalised (she was always there to calm down when I felt overwhelmed) and thorough which I really appreciated given my background from a small country such as Greece. Is it expensive? Yes. Is it worth every penny to maximise your chances of getting in? Also yes. In a journey such as this it is critical to work with someone who knows the ins-and-outs of the process. Trust me, work with Katy and you won’t regret it.
I worked with Jessica specifically to prepare for my HBS interview. We did a mock interview to start, where she expertly analyzed my strengths and weaknesses and gave me nuanced, actionable feedback on what I could improve on. After the interview, she analyzed my thoughts and topics of conversation from the interview and helped me concisely synthesize the major themes of my reflection. She also generously made herself available for many random questions and calmed my nerves on many occasions when pre-acceptance panic set in. I could not recommend Jessica highly enough! I put the utmost faith in her at every step and ended up with an HBS acceptance! I didn’t work with her for my main applications though I could only imagine how incredible they would have been had I done so.
Working with Harold Simansky on my MIT Sloan Fellows application was transformative. His insight and guidance not only bolstered my confidence but also illuminated my path to success. Harold’s expertise was invaluable, turning the daunting application process into a journey of self-discovery and achievement. His support made me genuinely believe in my potential to join the ranks of MIT Sloan Fellows. I’m immensely grateful for his dedication and highly recommend his services to anyone aiming for the pinnacle of their academic and professional ambitions.
Working with Michael was fantastic! He helped me understand the admissions process and guided me through it from start to finish. I came to him with a non-traditional background, a subpar undergrad GPA, and only a loose MBA story and he helped me shape that into a clear narrative and an acceptance to Darden (my top choice)! I can’t recommend him highly enough.
We started with a very detailed document on my background, everything from family and childhood experiences to hobbies, career experience, etc. He used this to identify the most unique and relevant parts of my background and help me tell the best version of my story possible. He had a genuine interest in understanding and helping me tell my unique story, and it was obvious all of his advice was completely personalized and not cookie cutter.
Michael always responded quickly with substantive feedback so I could be happy that my application, especially my essays and resume (which went through plenty of revisions) were the best they could be by the time I turned them in.
The MBA application process is always a lot of work, stress, and anxiety, but Michael helped me navigate that with confidence. He made sure I always knew what to expect and that I was constantly making progress even when life got busy. He helped me understand how my story fit with an MBA. If you’re prepared to put in the work, Michael will make sure that work results in the best possible version of your story. He is friendly, honest, and approachable.
I can’t imagine I would have gotten into my dream school at Darden without his help!
Harshad was a fantastic consultant as well as a supportive mentor. He helped me successfully get into every school I applied to, including my dream school where I ultimately ended up, Duke Fuqua. Harshad not only helped me craft optimized, extremely high-quality applications–he also helped me with interview prep and served as a mentor in many positive ways. Harshad helped me believe in myself and my abilities, instilling confidence that shined through in my applications and interviews. Highly recommend!
Harold is everything you want in an admissions consultant and more. He is extremely responsive, very knowledgeable on the application process for each school, honest, empathetic, provides great feedback, and clearly goes above and beyond when reviewing essays and working with you on submitting a complete application. Harold took the time to understand who I was, my family background, and my goals post MBA in order to help guide me through the application process. He would respond over the weekends, and was very aware of the deadlines I was supposed to meet. Harold was quick to applaud a well written essay, and was very honest when he thought an essay needed more work and would help me brainstorm a strategy for the next draft. I was admitted to my top choices and received a full scholarship and I can honestly say I could not have done it without Harold!
Prior to hiring Nisha, I had failed to get into any of the five schools I applied to in round one. I was referred to Nisha by a friend and she very quickly helped me redo my essays and general narrative, quickly pointing out where there was significant room or improvement.
I’m happy to say in round two, I had much greater success. I secured offers from both Chicago Booth and Columbia Business School. I’m confident that I would not have been successful had I not been willing to pivot and bring in Nisha.
Harold is an incredible! He’s extremely knowledgable about the business school process, and his expertise was practical and tailored to my specific situation, which made all the difference. Each conversation with Harold was productive and inspiring; he helped me identify my strengths and voice, and worked hand-in-hand with me to craft a unique and compelling narrative. I didn’t think this was possible before I met Harold, given that I came from an over-represented candidate group. Harold also helped me transformed my resume, put together a strong application partake, and aced the interview. He was so supportive and was always quick to answer my questions. His support made all the difference in my successful application to Columbia Business School. I’m grateful for Harold’s expertise and guidance and cannot recommend him highly enough!
Working with Devi on my b school applications was a definitive factor in my acceptance to HBS & Wharton. Devi helped highlight the best parts of me in a compelling, authentic manner, while also guiding me on where I could improve, without ever making me feel discouraged.
During interview prep, Devi advised me to postpone our first HBS prep session when she saw I wasn’t ready, focusing on how I could better prepare to make the most of our time. This approach was not just about efficiency; it was a clear indicator of her commitment to my success.
When an unexpected situation for my Wharton application arose, Devi’s efficient, insightful feedback was crucial. She helped enhance my essays and overall application under a tight time constraint.
Overall, Devi’s guidance gave me the confidence that I had put my best foot forward in my applications. I’m immensely grateful!
I had a very positive experience with Jessica! Not only was she very helpful in helping shape my applications, but she also gave me the confidence to pursue schools I wouldn’t have otherwise considered/thought I was qualified for. From day 1 she was by my side and supporting me through her coaching/feedback. Ultimately, I was accepted to all of my top school choices including multiple M7’s. I will now be starting at Wharton this August.
When I began working with Jen, I knew very little about the MBA application process. Jen was patient and thorough, and I felt comfortable going to her with any questions I had. She helped to keep me organized and on schedule to submit 7 R1 applications. Jen made herself available to me whether it was answering a quick email or scheduling a last minute call. While she reviewed my resume and every application and essay, she provided feedback and comments that helped keep my submission individualized. Ultimately, I was accepted to multiple reach schools and offered generous scholarships to many programs. I would highly recommend Jen as your MBA admissions consultant!
When I started working with Jessica, I had completed my GMAT and thought my “MBA story,” honed over 4.5 years in the same industry, only needed a bit of polish. Jessica, however, envisioned a more reflective approach. She encouraged me to introspect deeply about my life, got to know me intimately, and reshaped my narrative into something beyond my imagination. Had I stuck to my original plan, I doubt I’d be heading to HBS today.
From day one, Jessica was methodical, initiating our process five months before application deadlines. She required a detailed account of my upbringing, family, hobbies, and work experiences—a task that seemed too excessive with its 50-60 hours of introspection. Yet, this groundwork proved essential. It enabled Jessica to identify what made me unique and weave my most compelling stories into each school’s application. I still remember my sense of relief during our first brainstorming session. Jessica had done her homework, knew my story inside-out, and proposed a clear-cut strategy for the coming months. I was onboard and it was the first time I felt that I might actually have a shot.
Applying to top MBA programs is a grueling process. Schools evaluate every aspect of your life and expect you to “bleed on paper” to convince them of your candidacy. The best MBA essays are compelling stories where you, the author, happen to be the hero. For even the best storytellers among us, that’s an awkward thing to write. Fortunately, Jessica finds it easy. She’s a professional who knows what schools are looking for and, as long as you’re willing to put in the work, her expertise will bring out the best in you.
It was a great decision to work with Gavriella! I was accepted at both HBS and Wharton. She was a tremendous help in putting together my application, and particularly in effectively using the essays to tell my story. I reached out to her under a time crunch, and Gavriella was able to quickly identify the unifying thread in my past experiences and help me highlight the accomplishments I was most proud of. She is timely and attentive. Not only is she great at what she does, she is also kind, encouraging, and supportive. Her support extended beyond my admissions – I was torn between the two schools and she gave me helpful advice in making the decision that was best for me. I would highly recommend working with Gavriella – you will absolutely not regret it!
Nisha was pivotal in helping me navigate through the overwhelming MBA application process. She was a wonderful mentor and friend, helping me to create my storyboard, uncover my goals and get into my dream MBA program! She always provided prompt and constructive feedback. I highly recommend her as an MBA consultant.
Nisha played an instrumental role in aiding me through the often overwhelming process of the MBA application. Her guidance was invaluable and she assumed the roles of not just a mentor, but also a confidant. Her assistance extended to helping me craft my storyboard, a task that required both strategic thinking and personal introspection. Furthermore, she was instrumental in helping me uncover my goals, encouraging me to dig deeper and identify my true objectives.
Her feedback was always timely and constructive, demonstrating her profound understanding of the MBA process and what it takes to succeed. She excelled in combining her expertise with a personalized approach, ensuring each piece of advice was tailored to my individual circumstances.
Nisha’s unwavering support and her remarkable ability to simplify complex matters truly set her apart. Given my positive experience and the value she added to my MBA journey, I wholeheartedly recommend her as an MBA consultant. She is undoubtedly an asset to anyone looking to navigate the intricacies of the MBA process.
I worked with Susan on two schools as part of the Start-to-Finish Package. She was incredible to work with and I genuinely could not have gotten through this process without her help. When I decided to pursue my MBA, I had more questions than answers about the application process, how to tell my story, etc.
Susan was there every step of the way and will ask the right questions to help you select your schools, effectively communicate your experience and career goals, and in the end help make the best decision for your future. I appreciated how holistic the process was and the different approaches that Susan took to really learn about me and what I wanted out of an MBA.
Susan was very responsive, turned around edits quickly, and offered constructive feedback that made my essays infinitely better. Because of Susan’s help, I was incredibly confident in the materials that I submitted and felt as though my applications were a direct reflection of who I was and the story that I was trying to tell. In the end, I was admitted to my top two schools and received full-rides to both.
If you’re reading this as you begin your MBA journey, I highly recommend that you work with Susan. She cares deeply about your future success and that was evident throughout the whole process.
Working with Gavriella was incredible and I recommend her a consultant for a couple of reasons:
1. Professional and timely responses – Gavriella was extremely professional and responded to my emails, gave me resume feedback and edited my essays all in a timely manner so that I could follow the timeline we sett and make sure I was happy with my application well before the deadlines.
2. Relevant feedback – Gavriella gave me relevant feedback based off of my post-MBA goals and what schools I wanted to go to. She didn’t try to fit me in a box but worked with my story and helped me shape the right version of me that I wanted to present to the admissions committees.
3. Comfortable & Friendly – Some consultants are really hard to approach and can be really intimidating. Some of them I even felt discouraged from applying or I felt that I wasn’t good enough! But Gavriella never made me feel that way. She was supportive and a friendly face through out the whole process. It felt good that I could rely on her to answer any of my questions.
Not only did I get into my dream school of Columbia, I also got a scholarship!
Working with Gavriella was the single best decision I have ever made! She helped me out every step of the way during my application process. I signed up for the 3-school package – GSB, HBS, and Wharton. With Gavriella’s help, I got interview invites from both HBS and Wharton, and I ended up accepting the offer from HBS.
Gavriella was extremely supportive and helpful throughout the process. She helped me stay focused and responded quickly during the overwhelming application process. She’s great at paying attention to details and shaping your story. Plus, she genuinely cares about your success.
Not only is Gavriella amazing at what she does, but she’s also really nice to work with. She listens to you and values your ideas, making sure they come through in your application. She’s a great communicator and really understands where you’re coming from.
On top of helping me with these 3 applications, Gavriella also gave me some great advice for my Sloan MIT application, which I was working on by myself. Thanks to her help, I got an interview invite for Sloan MIT too!
Overall, Gavriella was amazing to work with, and I’d definitely recommend her to anyone looking for help with their applications.
Nisha helped me during my Round 1 applications to three M7 schools – I was ultimately accepted to all three, including a scholarship offer from one school!
Nisha was incredibly efficient and usually provided essay comments within a day. She was great at teasing out specific aspects of the narrative to ensure results and implications were clearly highlighted. During interview prep, she helped me identify areas of my profile that were not explicitly described in my written application to give more color to my personality.
The application process was intense and nerve-racking, but I am so grateful that Nisha always provided candid feedback, a fresh perspective, and incredible support. Still in disbelief that I’m actually going to b-school, thank you, Nisha!
Working with Gavriella is one of the best life decisions I have ever made. In 9 short months (all inclusive package), she not only helped me secure admission into my dream school – Stanford GSB (and other M7 schools) but has also evolved into becoming an advisor, friend and confidant for life. Such has been the transformative impact of Gavriella and no amount of words will ever do justice to how highly I recommend her to any applicant planning to embark on the MBA application journey.
Allow me to sum up her differentiated attributes that made her an absolute game changer in my path towards my dream school across 5 themes:
1. Highly Personalized – In our time working together, it always felt like I was her only client because that is the level of personalized attention she provided. She always went above and beyond without ever counting how many rounds of essay edits have happened or how many interview practice sessions we have done, because Gavriella genuinely cares. During the brainstorming phase, she allowed us to do innumerable zoom sessions (more than typical) to really pin down the essence of the story we wanted to convey. During the essay writing process, she provided thoughtful feedback and edits ahead of the regular turnaround time (and many times over weekends too), which allowed me to work efficiently. During the interview practice sessions, she helped me practice critical stories again and again until I felt confident enough for the big day. If you sign Gavriella up, I can guarantee that you’ll be promised a level of personalized service and responsiveness that will far exceed your expectations.
2. Expert Storyteller and Marketer – One of my core takeaways from this journey is realizing how much of the application process is about effective marketing and storytelling. And that is where Gavriella shines so bright. I’d like to particularly call out 2 nuances of this trait. One, she has a rare ability to connect disparate threads of your life in a uniquely creative yet authentic fashion. And two, her flair with words is simply unmatched. She also possesses a rich awareness of language and tone nuances that different schools like. While she tirelessly helped me level up my essays to a place worthy of submission to highly selective programs, I am also walking away with actionable tips on how to storytell (both written and verbal) effectively in other parts of my life. Working with Gavriella will allow you to go beyond the scope of the application process and permit you to experience a deep sense of reflection and growth.
3. Meticulous and Persevering – Gavriella has an amazing attention to detail. In every redlined essay version I received, it was clear to me that she had read every word thoroughly because she proposed multiple ways in which the same sentence could be written for higher impact and recall value. As I already stated, we went through the same essay draft more than 10 times, because she pushed for perfection. Even when we might have had differing thoughts on things, she used to provide well rationalized and thought out explanations for each of her points, which brought the best out of me. Also, one of the often understated and overlooked portions of this process is the application form itself. She made sure that in addition to extremely strong essays, we went through multiple iterations of application form short answers to curate the best possible overall application we could.
4. Trust and Belief – I had talked to 12 consultants when I was searching who to partner with, but what made me instantly connect with Gavriella was the belief she placed in me and my candidacy. I was a non-traditional applicant from an overrepresented demographic. I was unsure whether I was dreaming too big. But when I talked to her, I immediately felt that she understood me and I got a sense that she would make my dream of getting into Stanford hers, and boy I was right!
5. Friend and Confidant – As I have stated, applying to business school is more than a full time job. More than a consultant, you need a friend who will motivate you when you need it, who will hear you rant when you are stressed and who feels every inch of your emotion all the way. That’s what Gavriella was to me, which made this process all the more easier.
I can go on and on about the indelible impact she has had, but in summary, I would simply not be where I am today without her. I highly recommend you to choose her in a heartbeat for she can single handedly change your life.
I had a lot of apprehension starting the MBA admission process. I was targeting the top of the M7, nervous about getting the right GMAT score and uncertain about making my application stand out. I was a consultant passionate about public service and faith, and didn’t know how to tell my story. Not only this, but I was unsure about investing significant financial resources into the process. I approached coaches with a bit of skepticism, somewhat jaded after reading hundreds of P&Q reviews. But then I met Jessica and everything changed. I am now on my way to HBS after receiving multiple M7 offers. I can confidently say I wouldn’t be here without Jessica’s support. If you are reading this and have your sights set on a top school, look no further than Jessica. See below for a few examples of the exceptional value Jessica provided:
1. Jessica got to know me deeply as a human, well beyond my resume. She repeatedly pushed me to lean into stories that had shaped my life- stories of love and loss and oftentimes not associated with the corporate world. I cried after writing down some of the life experiences that I eventually used in essays- we got that real. I don’t think my application would have been remotely as powerful as it was with these lived experiences included and I believe that Jessica is in the top .1% of coaches that could draw this emotion and depth out of someone.
2. Jessica encouraged me to avoid a “brand”. I was ready to structure my package squarely around something I thought schools would want- an MBB consultant on sponsorship, ready to share stories of board meetings in class. Jessica quickly dispelled this. Instead, I found myself leaning into passions I would never have considered bringing up (cycling, painting) and my package became all the more reflective of who I actually was.
3. Jessica was extremely honest. Sometimes painfully so 🙂 She said from the beginning that she would react honestly to content because it would lead to a better product, and she held true to that. This too lead to a better outcome than otherwise.
4. Jessica (and mbaMission) was comprehensive. Jessica provided outstanding support across my package for multiple schools, and mbaMission went above and beyond with interview prep. All of this (besides one-off 1:1 interview deep-dives) was included in my package. I felt like this was excellent value and reflected the outstanding caliber of mbaMission as a whole (though Jessica stands alone in her caliber as a coach).
5. Jessica was timely, thorough and pushed me to stay “ahead of schedule”. Jessica consistently turned content in under two days and always was thorough. She encouraged me to lean in, even after long weeks or late nights, and dig deep to complete my packages early. Without this push I know I would not have been as prepared as I was.
6. Even after I submitted my applications, Jessica was there every step of the way. She provided immense reassurance in times of doubt, responded thoughtfully to anxiety-induced emails, and even counseled me on what to wear to my interviews. I am confident that I would have had many more sleepless nights if it wasn’t for her.
Working with Jessica was the one of the wisest decisions I’ve ever made – and it would be for you too.
I worked with Gavi for a 5 school package (all M7 schools), and I have no shortage of praise for Gavi! Gavi helped me convert all 5 of my applications into interviews, resulting in 3 acceptances all with scholarship / fellowships. I will be attending Wharton this fall with a fellowship thanks to her support!
While the MBA application process can be a grueling challenge filled with uncertainty, anxiety, and stress and Gavi operates as a true partner to help break down the application process into a tenable journey.
Gavi has an incredibly deep toolkit to help prepare you for the application process. As an attentive listener, strong communicator, and deep empath, she takes the time to deeply understand her clients so that she can tailor her guidance specifically to you. Gavi will get to know you and help you create an application that highlights you in the best way possible.
Though I was randomly assigned to work with Gavi through the mbaMission consult, I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to work with her. My application and preparation would not have been what it was without her. I attribute so much of my success in the application process to her guidance and support. The only sad part about the MBA application process being over for me is not getting to work with Gavi anymore!
I can only speak positively about my experience working with Gavriella. Candidly, I did work with a consultant other than Gavriella during majority of my application process. Once I submitted my applications, I was fortunate enough to be invited to interview at several programs. At the time, my original consultant was inundated with work, so he recommended that I prepare the interviews with Gavriella. He spoke highly of her and felt that she would provide fresh and objective feedback.
Gavriella exceeded my expectations in every possible way. I was nervous pivoting to a different consultant on such short notice, especially before what felt like the biggest moment in my application process. Gavriella accommodated my tight schedule in every way possible. She provided helpful technical advice and thoughtful perspectives that I could implement immediately. She offered to do as many follow-up sessions as necessary to reinforce the prior work we had done to ensure I felt comfortable, confident, and prepared going into my interviews. Gavriella took the time to understand my story and to connect with me as the human behind the stressful application process. It was a true pleasure working with Gavriella and I recommend her highly and without reservation.
Kate is an incredible consultant who supported me at every stage of my application process. I am a woman in Business consultant within financial services industry pursuing an MBA to continue in consulting but pivot to CPG industry. Kate’s optimism and ability to identify my strengths helped me get accepted into 5 out of 6 schools that I applied to – including my dream school (a M7 program). Kate was very supportive and motivating throughout my application process. She helped me choose schools, modify my essays, and prepare for interviews. Kate was well – versed with different program offerings and tailored my profile to cater to each school’s requirements. She was also very accommodating of time zone differences and promptly responded to my questions. Post each conversation, she would recap the key takeaways and share resources which I could leverage for building a stronger profile and present myself better for the interviews. Overall, she made applying for MBA way less overwhelming and I cannot thank her enough.
I worked with Susan on 2 schools during round 1 applications. I did the Start-to-Finish Package and thought it was well worth it! I was extremely impressed by how Susan personalized the start-to-finish package for each school, and did not simply reuse aspects from the first school we completed.
Susan did a thorough deep dive into my background to help me craft the best stories for the schools I was applying to. She helped me identify my strengths that aligned well to each schools values, and helped me craft these strengths into strong stories that both highlighted my experiences and spoke well to the admissions committees. When it came time for interviews, Susan provided invaluable feedback in how I should visually present myself and best verbalize my accomplishments.
Throughout the entire application process, Susan is completely open and honest in her feedback. She is extremely meticulous and will keep turning content with you until it is absolutely perfect.
Without Susan’s help I would not have written nearly as strong applications, would have had a difficult time staying on track for round 1 deadlines, and likely would not have gotten into my goal schools. I would highly recommend her services to anyone looking for an mba admissions consultant!
If my word count was only limited to two, my review of Krista would be simple: The GOAT. I put a lot amount of thoughts into big decisions or purchases, so when I was considering whether or not to use a consultant or who to use, I turned over every stone. I explored every firm and talked to a lot of different people. I watched Krista’s video on MBAMission and really resonated with her emphasis on getting to know the person behind the resume, along with her signature chuckle at the end, and felt as though I’d be comfortable really opening up to her so that I could put my all into my application. She was my #1 choice out of all of the chats I had done with consultants and words can’t explain how happy I am that I made the right choice. Working with Krista surpassed all of my expectations. She overinvested in getting to know everything about me, not just my career, why I chose it and future ambitions, but the way I grew up, my family dynamics, the seemingly meaningless stories that have had an impact on my life, professionally and personally. Despite being hired as my consultant, it felt as though she doubled as a personal therapist throughout the application process. She was able to piece together all of the small details of my life, that even I had forgotten at times, and help me create cohesive and compelling essays tailored to each individual school that I applied to. Despite my love for Krista the person, her professionalism and passion for the job is the true reason why I’m so thankful I chose her. I’m not a strong writer, but Krista allowed me to simply put everything down on a page that I wanted to talk about and she was able to take it from there. She was able to help me take my excessively long brain dumps and edit them down so that they would be the most concise and powerful versions. Her attention to detail and her ability to scrutinize every sentence, word and punctuation mark, to create the strongest possible essay was something I hadn’t ever seen before (including from all of my supervisors, bosses and MDs to date). Outside of the essays, she helped coach me on every aspect of the application from reviewing my recommenders’ recommendations or helping me with extracurricular descriptions to the most minute details such as what I should be including about my family background. No matter the aspect of the application, Krista never let me settle for good: It had to be great. I know Krista sells out almost every year, but throughout my time with her, it always felt as though I was her only client. She often was able to get draft revisions back to me ahead of the MBAMission two business day timeline and was always available to hop on zoom to talk, no matter how large or small my problem at the time was (I’m surprised she didn’t bill my medical insurance for therapy charges). Throughout my application process Krista became much more than my consultant and now that I’m finished, I can say with absolute certainty that I’d trust her with my first-born child. She helped take my applications to a new level and because of her I was able to get a scholarship from Wharton, in addition to being accepted into my dream school, that I’m looking forward to attending in the fall: Harvard Business School.
Kate is an exceptional MBA admission consultant, possessing extensive experience and expertise in the field. I had the pleasure of working with Kate for applications to both Booth and Kellogg, and I am thrilled to share that I gained admission to both institutions, with the added bonus of receiving a scholarship for Booth. Throughout our collaboration, Kate remained unwavering in her support, demonstrating a keen understanding of my challenges, such as my lower-than-desired GMAT score. She provided invaluable guidance, recommending alternative exams like the Executive Assessment to meet stringent application deadlines. Despite my demanding work schedule, Kate consistently delivered prompt feedback on my essays, ensuring that I stayed on track with my application tasks. Kate’s commitment to my success was truly remarkable. Her ability to deeply listen, identify my strengths, and craft compelling narratives played a pivotal role in strengthening my applications. Working with her was a pleasure; her calm demeanor, organizational skills, and diligence were evident in every aspect of the application process.
I had the privilege of working with Nisha during crunch time of my round 1 applications to three M7 business schools. Nisha was not just a consultant; she was a mentor and guide throughout the process. Her professionalism, promptness, and friendly approach made the stressful period of applications much more manageable.
Her feedback on my resume and essays was detailed and insightful, significantly enhancing the quality of my application. Nisha’s ability to provide constructive criticism while highlighting my strengths was extremely helpful. She understood the intricacies of each school’s application process and tailored her advice accordingly.
What truly set Nisha apart was her efficient use of time. Despite the time constraints, she ensured that every piece of feedback was actionable and impactful, making the most of the consulting hours I had purchased. Her dedication to my success was evident in her willingness to go the extra mile, accommodating my schedule and responding swiftly to my queries.
Thanks to Nisha’s guidance, I was admitted to CBS’ class of 2026. Her expertise and personalized approach were invaluable. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to make their MBA application stand out. Nisha’s support is not just an investment in your application but in your future.
I unreservedly recommend working with Nisha on any aspect of your application. I began the MBA application process late and was faced with a condensed timeline to work through the GMAT and subsequent application materials. Nisha provided timely and invaluable input on all aspects of my candidacy from my resume to my essays and extra-curriculars. She was always responsive and available to jump on a zoom call to answer any pressing questions as the submission deadlines approached. We continued to work together leading up to the interview process. Nisha conducted a great mock interview session which helped immensely in my preparation for conversations with admission committees. She not only presented the opportunity to practice speaking to my application and experience, but also provided critiques on how to better answer questions to convey the strengths I possessed as a candidate. I am happy to say that I have been offered admission to my top choice in M7 school, and it would not have been possible without Nisha’s continued help and support. If you are in the market for a consultant who will get to know you as a candidate and work with you through each step of your application, Nisha is the perfect fit.
