She truly cared about me and believed in me from the start despite me coming from an unconventional business sector, still needing to do my GMAT, and starting to apply for Round Two in early December to M7s only. I worked with Gavriella throughout my MBA application process and was admitted to all three of HBS, Stanford GSB, and Wharton. I genuinely think you would be hard-pressed to find a better MBA consultant. The below are detailed reasons I think she is the best. In summary, what separates her is not just that she is smart or kind, but that she goes unusually deep in understanding who you are, has world class writing skills, and helps turn everything in your application into an authentic, school-specific storytelling.

– She has great taste and storytelling instincts. In the age of AI, where some writing feels increasingly commoditized, Gavriella’s ability to extract the right story, frame it in a specific way for a specific school, and deliver a feeling to the reader is still unique. In my opinion, this is Gavriella’s best and most valuable skill.
– She is not comfortable with mediocrity. She is not someone who will just “say yes” to make things easier. I submitted a bad first draft for HBS, and instead of doing what would have been easy and working off that draft, she told me to restart. The essay ended up in a place that no amount of editing on the first draft would have reached. That judgment mattered because in a process where most drafts can be made “pretty good,” she knew when something needed to be rebuilt instead of refined.
– She goes deep personally in a way that is rare. For me, that meant reading all 30 pages of my very long “get to know me” summary and asking thoughtful thematic questions that helped surface things I had never fully articulated about myself. That depth allowed her to help me craft stories that felt authentic to my background and consistent across my essays, interview, and overall application.
– She goes above and beyond. My Why Stanford essay went through 15+ iterations before being submitted with changes going back and forth that were sometimes just a single word.

There are other points I could bring up about how easy Gavriella is to work with, how kind she is, and how talented she is. Those things matter as well. The points above are what, in my opinion, separate Gavriella and why I would recommend her to anyone looking for an MBA consultant.
