Working with Jessica Shklar at mbaMission was truly a gift. She helped my brother get into his dream schools a few years ago, so when it was my turn, I knew I wanted to work with her. From the very beginning, Jessica had a way of making the overwhelming application process feel approachable.
When I first filled out my brainstorming document, I worried that I didn’t have much of substance to share. But on our very first call, Jessica guided me through my story in a way that made everything click. She has such a knack for pulling out the right details, weaving them together, and shaping them into something powerful while always keeping it authentic and in my own voice.
She was with me every step of the way, refining drafts, giving thoughtful advice, and calming my nerves when I doubted myself. Thanks to her support, I was accepted into my dream school on my very first application!
I couldn’t be more grateful for Jessica’s guidance, patience, and expertise. She made a daunting process not only manageable but actually rewarding. I would recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone starting their MBA journey.
Katharine is an INCREDIBLE consultant who helped me land multiple offers to MBA programs – I ultimately committed to Wharton. I was advised to wait a year to apply as I started my test prep on the later side, but Katharine took the time to go through my story and craft multiple competitive applications I was confident showcased my best work. Do not underestimate how much introspective those applications are! I cannot recommend Katharine enough.
It is evident that Katharine truly cares about the success of her clients, in part because she has seen first hand how business school has changed the lives/career paths of her own classmates and clients over the years. Besides helping me getting in to business school, she further convinced me that the 2 years was absolutely worth it for me, regardless if my exact career goals shift. When I was deciding between schools, she gave me concrete examples of what I could take advantage of if I attended that school, from classes and clubs to semesters abroad and specific initiatives.
I was hesitant to apply to business school as my GPA was definitely sub par and I was an investment banker for most of my career – which is a very tough pool to stand out in. Katharine took the time to speak with me in depth about projects I worked on, why I wanted to do banking in the first place, even my college internships – to help craft a compelling and accurate narrative of how I got to where I am and what unique perspectives I could bring to the table. I told myself after I submitted my apps that even if I did not get into my target schools, I couldn’t really be upset as everything I was proud of professionally, and in some cases even personally, was somehow reflected in the application.
It goes without saying that Katharine also has incredible insight into what these schools are looking for and the differences between them. Beyond essays – she advised me on which schools I was competitive at, what events to attend, helped me craft a “recommendation packet” to guide my recommender.
Katharine is a fantastic advisor as well as an incredibly kind and knowledgeable person. I had friends who had advisors who simply did not understand their jobs and therefore could only be so helpful on the essays. Katharine is incredibly well-educated on a range of industries and took the TIME to understand exactly what my day to day looked like.
Working with Katharine was an absolute pleasure. I am grateful for her guidance and could not have done it without her!
Jessica, has been a fantastic partner in my business school application. It all started with a 30min consultation in which I was able to confirm her homerun storytelling ability. Since I scheduled this ahead of time (several months before the business school application) the 30min consultation served to plan and strengthen areas where I could show improvement in my profile.
After signing up for a full package, she has been just the best application partner I could have asked for. Very strategic, most if not all replies for quick questions within 30min, assays returned with high quality suggestions and edits. Willing to accommodate scheduling difficulties. And ongoing support even after acceptances for advice on scholarships!
Jessica was able to help me get into my top school of choice, HBS. If I had the chance to do it all over again, I would happily do so.
I was a deferred MBA applicant applying to several M7 schools, and I was admitted to Booth and Wharton before choosing Wharton. I definitely would not have been able to reach this point without the help of mbaMission. Their work gave me some preliminary understanding of the deferred admissions process and the MBA process in general on sites like YouTube and through their online guides, and once I signed up for the actual school packages they were very helpful in preparing me for the applications from start to finish. I utilized materials using OnTrack, but the 1 on 1 work with Michael was the most impactful. This work included several resume revisions, essays for each school, recommendation guidance, and interview prep. Michael did an especially great job of prepping me for the unique Wharton TBD interview, and even for the schools I wasn’t admitted to I had interviews that I felt well prepared for. I highly recommend this service for a deferred applicant lookin g to reach their highest goals. In terms of specific strengths, Michael was always available and helpful. He turned comments more quickly than expected, especially during holidays and tight deadlines. Moreover, Michael went above and beyond to give extra help with schools where I had not purchased the full support package when I received interviews at those schools, which eventually led to my admission. He also gave honest feedback throughout and kept me on a good schedule from the beginning, as well as encouraging me to apply to certain schools he thought were truly a good fit and where I would be a competitive applicant. He made it much easier to complete multiple interviews without feeling like I fully had to redo each one.
The options for finding someone to help with an MBA admission can feel endless and overwhelming. I can tell you with utmost confidence: choose Devi. She is the brightest diamond in the MBA Admissions Consultant mine.
I had a lot to say and was unsure how to say it. Devi knew exactly how to redirect my focus and help me tell my stories to present as my finest self. I was accepted into the school of my choice and also received a generous scholarship.
Devi is kind, strategic, and direct with a no-nonsense approach with one’s best interest in mind at every turn.
I am so grateful I went with my gut in choosing Devi, and you should do the same. You will not be disappointed.
Coming from a nontraditional MBA background, I had no idea what the application process would look like, or how I could tell my story in a way that would best highlight my strengths. From my first day working with Cat, I felt so much more confident in my application. Her edits to my essays/resumes were extremely thorough and insightful. We went through dozens of drafts of my resume, application essays, and even the short answer section of the application. With each revision I could see my application improving and becoming more true to me. Additionally, Cat was always prompt with any questions I had and was always more than willing to hop on a call to answer the many questions I had during the application process. With Cat’s help, I was able to secure an interview with HBS and eventually an acceptance. I can’t recommend her enough to anyone looking for an MBA consultant!
When I was deciding whether to pursue an MBA, I reached out to a few people for advice on the process, and an ex-colleague of mine recommended Susan. At the time, I didn’t fully realize how important a consultant could be, but looking back on my application journey, I can wholeheartedly say that I wouldn’t have made it into my top-choice program without Susan.
Working with Susan was genuinely enjoyable. We went through my entire life story, and she was able to identify standout experiences that I might have otherwise overlooked. Every time we caught up, it felt more like chatting with a friend than working through an application.
My GMAT scores weren’t the strongest, and after discussing my concerns with Susan, she suggested trying a different test—which ended up giving me a much better result.
Susan also provided thoughtful, constructive feedback on the programs I was considering. With her extensive professional experience, she helped me clearly position my short-term goals in a way that aligned with my long-term aspirations.
I was accepted into most of the programs I applied to, and although I was initially waitlisted at my top choice, Susan helped me develop a strategy to strengthen my application—and I was fortunate to be accepted off the waitlist in the end.
I can’t thank Susan enough for making this possible. I’d strongly recommend her if you’re looking for someone who’s more than just consultant —she’s a partner, a mentor, and a friend.
I worked with Harold in 2023-2024, and initially he helped me build my application for a Full-Time MBA program at a top US business school (essay, resume, etc.). Although I wasn’t accepted that time, Harold kept encouraging me to reapply the following year. I almost gave up, but he believed in me more than I believed in myself, and he was always following up, brainstorming, and suggesting alternative approaches. Based on my inputs (age, workload, location, career goals), he advised me to shift strategies: to consider an Executive MBA and take the Executive Assessment instead of the GMAT. It all paid off – now I’m halfway through the Chicago Booth Executive MBA program. Earning an MBA from a top U.S. business school was my dream. I am really enjoying the experience, and I will be forever grateful to Harold. Thank you very much!
I had the pleasure of working with Gavriella on MBA application journey – I had a narrow target of 3 schools and thanks to her I was accepted to 2 of the 3 programs, including INSEAD which was my #1 choice!
Working with Gavriella felt like a breeze in a completely taxing process. She found a way to infuse excitement and inspiration when crafting my story and had a super great vision for how my story came together. In building my applications with her, I gained more clarity and confidence about my future career goals and profile.
Not only was she there every step of the way with rigor and professionalism, she was also kind and empathetic in the difficult moments of the MBA application process. When I nearly gave up after performing poorly on the GRE, she was there to encourage me to keep pushing. She was also key in interview prep and scholarship applications, helping me perfect my interviews and secure a scholarship.
I truly could not have done this without Gavriella! She is truly the best and has a talent for making candidates shine. 10/10!!!
Committing to the application process with Gavriella was the best decision I have ever made. Her guidance during each step was quite literally what made my application so strong, and the result so successful (got into all six of the schools I applied to – T15). From story crafting, essay editing, and application reviewing, Gavriella was not only my biggest help, but also my best support. Could not recommend working with her enough!
I reached out to Jessica Shklar at mbaMission during the early stages of my deferred MBA journey, and her guidance was transformative. While I did not have the opportunity or the resources to work with Jessica, I took advantage of the 30-minute free consultation. In just 30 minutes, she helped me see how parts of my background, like my military education, were actually strengths, not weaknesses. Jessica offered a realistic, thoughtful review of my profile and gave me the confidence to pursue programs I once thought were out of reach. Her generosity and insight were invaluable, especially for someone like me who was doubting their potential. I’m incredibly grateful for her support and highly recommend her to any MBA hopeful.
Working with Harshad for my deferred MBA admissions process was the best decision I made! As a college senior navigating an intense and competitive application cycle, I felt incredibly supported every step of the way.
After speaking with other consultants, Harshad truly stood out to me as someone who was both knowledgeable and deeply understanding of my more unique background. He was able to leverage his engineering experience and broad global perspective to understand and help me articulate my pre- and post-MBA career goals.
The overall process of working with Harshad was incredibly smooth and well-structured. We were able to jump right into brainstorming and identifying the life stories I wanted to highlight in my applications. His advice was always specific, tailored, and also really intuitive, I genuinely felt that he went above and beyond to understand me as a person.
Harshad was great at keeping the bigger picture of the story I was trying to tell in mind with his feedback on my essays, and was always willing to meet to discuss. His turnaround time was incredibly fast and often ahead of schedule, which made a huge difference as I approached deadlines.
Harshad’s interview support was also invaluable. My HBS mock with him was challenging, but it really helped me prepare and ace the HBS interview. One of the questions he came up with for our mock was actually asked word for word by the admissions officer, which goes to show how well his prep is. He also connected me with a mbaMission colleague for prep for the Wharton TBD, which was also helpful.
Most importantly, Harshad was also a mentor and a cheerleader throughout my application journey. He helped me build confidence in myself and my application, and when I felt discouraged or uncertain, he reminded me of my strengths. That support was especially meaningful as I balanced the stress of finishing college while applying, and it made all the difference to have someone uplifting me along the way.
Thanks to Harshad’s support, I was fortunate to be accepted to HBS, Wharton, Booth, and MIT, and I truly believe I wouldn’t have reached this point without his guidance. For anyone considering the deferred MBA route, I can’t recommend Harshad highly enough!
I’m a college senior who worked with Katy for deferred MBAs. Katy is a very detailed oriented consultant. She offered me a lot of knowledge and insight on how to talk with recommenders and write stories that strings together my activities! Katy meticulously read over all my essay drafts and gave detailed suggestions. She was also kind to give me multiple practices for the interviews I got! I applied to 5 schools, got interviews with Stanford, MIT, and Kellogg, and ultimately got admitted to Kellogg. Katy is very experienced with MBA applications and I think she has a lot to offer as a consultant!
Devi Helped Me Find My Story—and Own It in the HBS Interview
As someone applying to HBS through the 2+2 deferred program, I knew I needed to stand out but I wasn’t exactly sure how to tell my story in a way that felt both authentic and strategic. From our first session, Devi was a true partner in helping me find and refine that story. She asked the right questions, helped me connect the dots across different experiences, and worked closely with me to shape a compelling narrative that still felt like me.
Her strength in idea generation and essay workshopping was unmatched. She pushed me to dig deeper, clarify my “why,” and communicate with intention.
When I got the HBS interview invite, I was thrilled—but also overwhelmed. I had heard how fast-paced and specific it could be, and Devi immediately became my most trusted resource. Her interview prep was game-changing. She knew the types of questions to expect, the traps to avoid, and how to coach me out of over-explaining or getting stuck in the weeds.
By the time I walked into the real interview, I felt calm, confident, and clear. I genuinely believe working with Devi made the difference in getting into HBS!
Kim was extremely helpful throughout the entire application process. From her detailed reviews on all materials, to quick turnaround times, to navigating the interview process, and many other things, Kim always went above and beyond. Kim even volunteered numerous times to meet outside of our scheduled time. In addition, Kim was proactive throughout the entire process. She would be thinking multiple steps ahead, always thinking about the next thing to do in addition to what we were working on. Without Kim’s efforts, I wouldn’t have had all the success I was fortunate to have. I truly recommend Kim to anyone looking for a consultant. Keep up the great work, Kim!
Working with Katharine Lewis (Katy) was one of the best decisions I made in my MBA journey. As a career changer transitioning from law to business and applying from London in Round 3, I knew the odds weren’t in my favor—especially when it came to top-tier programs like Stanford GSB. But from the very first conversation, Katy saw my potential and never wavered in her belief that I had a compelling story to tell. When other consultants were sceptical, Katy was already strategizing.
Her insight into the MBA admissions process is truly priceless. She helped me shape my narrative thoughtfully and authentically, guiding me through every stage—from school selection to essays, interviews, and beyond. Her turnaround times were incredibly fast, and her feedback was always sharp, honest, and actionable.
What stood out the most was how she invested in me. Katy isn’t just an MBA consultant—she’s a career advisor, a coach, and an unwavering ally. She was my lifeline during the most stressful moments, and I always knew that no matter what came my way, we’d face it together. She helped me land interviews at both Stanford GSB and USC Marshall in Round 3—something I never thought possible, but she did.
Katy is unstoppable. She’s a total badass who brings heart, strategy, and fire to the table. I can’t recommend her highly enough.
I would HIGHLY recommend Kim to anyone looking for a consultant. I worked with Kim on a 6 school package and I got into my dream school. She was very organized and a clear communicator. I began working on my applications in the summer time for round 2 deadlines. This was a tight turn around for the number of programs I was applying to. Still, Kim was able to set clear expectations to help me work efficiently. Working with her was truly fun. She clearly and kindly explained the strengths and weaknesses in my application, helping my put my best foot forward.
Gavriella is good at her craft! She helped with a CBS interview as well as other interviews and had good insight into how to best present myself, while also calming my nerves and making sure I went into my interviews with confidence. I was accepted into CBS with $130k in scholarships. She’s really good at understanding her clients to bring the best out of them, while also being cognizant of their time. When writing business school applications, you want Gavi on your side!
I was incredibly fortunate to work with Jessica Shklar on my MBA applications during the Round 1 2024 cycle. As an international applicant, I was completely unfamiliar with the US MBA admissions process and in desperate need of trusted guidance.
In my country, using admissions consultants is virtually unheard of, so I approached the process with a healthy dose of scepticism. I spoke with several of the top consultants for initial consultations (all the big names you’d know)—but from the very first call, Jessica stood out. Not only did she have a deep understanding of the admissions landscape, but it was clear she had thoroughly reviewed my profile beforehand. Within minutes, she demonstrated a sharp grasp of my strengths, weaknesses, and how best to position me for each school. On top of that, her enthusiasm was infectious—I immediately felt she was someone who would be firmly in my corner. I knew right then that I had to work with her.
I initially planned to apply to eight schools in Round 1—a daunting workload—but Jessica kept me focused, organised, and confident. We spent hours brainstorming and refining ideas, crafting a distinctive narrative that could be tailored to each application (each one is truly different!). Her feedback was always direct, structured, and deeply insightful.
Jessica’s ‘superpower’ is her ability to uncover powerful stories in your life—ones you didn’t even know existed. She helped me identify themes and patterns I had long overlooked and pushed me to articulate them in my own authentic voice, stepping in only when I veered off course. Her brainstorming sessions are, quite frankly, legendary—I’ve never met someone more skilled at shaping compelling, creative, and unique narratives (and at rapid pace).
Beyond her immense talent, Jessica genuinely cares about her clients. She was generous with her time, accommodating early morning calls despite time zone differences. When I felt overwhelmed or unsure, she offered steady reassurance and helped me regain clarity and focus. When I doubted certain aspects of my profile, she proactively leveraged the broader resources of mbaMission, even brainstorming ideas with her colleagues to make sure we had the strongest possible approach.
Thanks to Jessica’s support, I was ultimately accepted into three M7 schools. Without her, I truly don’t think I would have even come close.
Do yourself a favour and invest in your future—trust Jessica. You won’t regret it.
I’m from Toronto and have spent the past seven years navigating the tech industry, focusing on business operations and sales strategy. With so much change happening across the tech landscape, I felt it was the perfect time to pursue an MBA — both to strengthen my existing skills and to develop new ones.
After achieving the GMAT score I was aiming for, I reached out to Julie-Anne for guidance. I felt lost when it came to everything beyond the test: school selection, career goal clarity, and the overall application process. Right away, Julie-Anne helped me map out a clear, structured plan, breaking down the key components I needed to research and reflect on. She was also instrumental in identifying which schools we should target together and how I could independently approach others using what I learned through our work.
During the essay phase, Julie-Anne struck the perfect balance — offering thoughtful, detailed feedback while still giving me space to shape my own story. Through our many conversations, she helped me recognize the strengths within my profile and how to highlight them effectively in my applications.
Once interview invitations started arriving, Julie-Anne continued to be an invaluable resource, providing interview prep, strategic advice, and even resources for scholarship negotiations and decision-making. I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be attending an M7 school this fall. I’m so grateful for Julie-Anne’s partnership throughout this journey!
Kate was instrumental in my MBA application journey, providing unwavering support and guidance every step of the way. From reviewing drafts late at night to offering honest feedback, she was always there when I needed her. Kate didn’t just help me craft a strong application; she helped me see potential in myself that I hadn’t recognized. Her encouragement and belief in my goals opened doors I didn’t think were possible. She constantly pushed me to be a better version of myself, and I honestly would not be where I am today without her dedication, insight, and care. I went from applying to the top 20 programs to Kate believing in me and asking me to aim higher. I trusted Kate and was admitted into my dream MBA program this fall.
From start to finish (and beyond) of the application process, Susan was exactly who I was looking for to help me with the process. She helped to draft a plan that fit with my schedule, provided feedback to improve my application regularly and quickly, and proactively reached out when she had any ideas that may not have been in our original scope but may have been interested. She also did not hesitate to (constructively) provide criticism that helped me improve my application as a whole. I will admit that my process experienced some set backs, but Susan was quick to pivot and realign priorities so that I would be able to gain the most from our partnership and my application experience. Ultimately, I am attending a program that awarded me an 80% scholarship which translates to ~11x ROI (scholarship $$$ / 3 school package cost). I could not have succeed like I have without Susan’s help, and I look forward to connecting with Susan in the future!
I highly recommend working with Harshad for help with the business school application process. My application process has been a lot less overwhelming and stressful because of Harshad’s guidance, encouragement and support. He started with understanding my background, contributions, interests, goals, strengths and growth areas both on personal and professional front. He helped with brainstorming ideas and data points for the essays. His feedback is very direct, thoughtful and spot on. And I needed that kind of feedback. He patiently helped review my essays and answered the questions I had. Almost all the time, I would hear from him within 24 hours, if not within a few hours. He also conducted a mock interview session, which was super helpful and gave me the confidence to take on real interviews. I went through the application process while working full time. Harshad was flexible with the meeting hours and made himself available when I needed his urgent guidance.
I applied to Haas and two M7 schools and I got into all three of them and with scholarship. Harshad then helped brainstorm the pros and cons and gave me insights on how to think about making the right choice. I could tell throughout the process that he genuinely cares about his clients and their success. Overall, I am super glad and grateful I chose Harshad to help me with this journey.
I interviewed several MBA admissions consultants before choosing to work with Gavriella, and I’m so glad I did. After applying on my own last year and getting rejected, I knew I needed more support. From our first intro call, Gavriella had already reviewed my background and came prepared with specific suggestions on how to strengthen my application. While other consultants suggested changing my school list due to my lower GMAT score, Gavriella believed in me and encouraged me to stick with my original targets. I ended up working with her on a five-school package.
She called it a “partnership,” and that’s exactly how it felt. Gavriella took the time to deeply understand my story, helped me surface unique and authentic experiences, and is an exceptional editor. She knows what schools are looking for and provided clear, direct feedback throughout. She also provided detailed interview prep for each school, including mock interviews and thoughtful, actionable feedback that helped me feel confident going in. I’m thrilled to be attending Wharton next year, and I couldn’t have done it without Gavriella’s support!
Having gone through the MBA application process once before on my own, my only regret is not working with Gavriella the first time. She made the process not only less stressful but genuinely enjoyable. I highly recommend Gavriella to anyone applying to an MBA program!
There are MBA consultants and then there’s Katy. She is truly one of a kind and, without a doubt, the absolute best in the business.
I started working with her during the HBS interview stage because I wanted a bit of extra prep support. I don’t usually go for consultants or spend on outside help, but working with her ended up being one of the best decisions I made during the entire MBA process. From the very beginning, she stood out. Katy is incredibly sharp, thoughtful and genuinely fun to work with. What blew me away most was how deeply she understands the admissions process at schools like HBS – every insight she shared felt precise, strategic and tailored exactly to what I needed at each stage. She knew how to guide me through the interview, and even more impressively, through the unpredictable and extremely stressful waitlist process.
But what truly sets Katy apart is how much she cares. She was beyond generous with her time, never once making it feel like a transactional relationship. I felt like I had a coach, mentor and real friend who genuinely wanted to see me succeed. With Katy’s guidance – and a little bit of luck – I got off the HBS waitlist!
If you’re getting ready to apply, need some extra interview support or have been waitlisted and want not just the best consultant out there to guide you but someone who will be in your corner every step of the way, work with Katy. She is the real deal and truly in a league of her own.
Navigating the MBA admissions process is a is a tricky task on its own. After getting declined on my initial admissions attempt, I knew I needed help. I was referred to mbaMission by a GMAT tutor and found myself in an introductory call with Gavi. Needless to say we hit it off immediately.
My admissions journey was anything but normal, and Gavi was there with me along every step of the process. From navigating test scores and life milestones, she was always available for a chat. Through Gavi’s help, I was admitted to both NYU Stern and UCLA Anderson’s Part Time programs. She even offered her time to be a sounding board to help me come to the decision to attend UCLA this Fall.
Gavi’s superpower isn’t her stellar editing skills or ability to connect stories from a disparate past. It’s her ability to connect with her clients on a human level. I never wavered in the fact that Gavi was with me for every step and felt supported through all of the admissions journey ups and downs. She was there to give me fair, constructive feedback when I wasn’t hitting the mark, and also there to pump me up when I felt down. With me, she was able to find the delicate balance of tough love and care; something I greatly appreciated.
Gavi’s work speaks for itself and I could not recommend her enough to anyone looking to embark on their own MBA admissions journey. Should you choose to work with Gavi, you’ll not only be working with an outstanding consultant, you’ll be working with an even better human being.
I started thinking about business school in October without a clear direction. I spoke to a few consultants and Jessica immediately stood out. During our free consultation, she didn’t try to sell me any packages and instead focused on me getting the most value in those 30 minutes. She followed up promptly with detailed notes and suggestions. While some other consultants were quick to judge (I am on the older side of applicants) or steer me in a specific direction, I never felt that with Jessica. She genuinely listened and supported the path I wanted to take.
Since I started the process so late, I applied in Round 2 to three schools but didn’t get in – they were all ambitious choices. At that point, I assumed my MBA journey was over.
Jessica then reached out and encouraged me to apply in Round 4 to a school that had originally been high on my list, but I hadn’t applied to due to time constraints. Although she typically doesn’t work on applications that late in the cycle, she made an exception and helped me navigate what I could do differently this time. With her guidance, I got in with a scholarship (in R4!) and am going to school this fall! She continued to look out for me even after her formal responsibilities had ended, offering consistent encouragement when I had given up.
Working with Jessica never felt transactional. While her services are on the higher end, I never once questioned whether I was getting my money’s worth. She is truly exceptional at what she does – and she genuinely cares about every single client she takes on. There were moments when it felt like she understood my story better than I did, especially when we were working on my essays.
If I had to go through this process again, I would choose Jessica in a heartbeat. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an MBA consultant.
It was a great experience working with Jessica—from the jump in our introductory call she was straightforward, very easy to talk to, and provided thoughtful prods on potential narrative threads in my background, underscoring the main strengths of working with a consultant- someone who knows the process thoroughly and can provide incisive insight and strategy on how you are currently showcasing your story and how it could be improved– all of which gave me great confidence in choosing to work with her!
Throughout the application journey, Jessica helped ease any anxieties from the process with her clarity and depth of knowledge– she laid out the steps and function of each approach and meeting, making the marathon of applying much more digestible and coherent. She took time to deeply understand my background, forming a foundation to build off of in subsequent meetings, and her frankness was refreshing in providing honest and clear direction in what was realistic. She was always prompt in responding, and for almost any situation or question had fantastic advice and specified expertise.
Jessica’s invaluable support made the entire application season much more doable!
Working with Gavriella was the best decision I made during the MBA application process. I initially worked with another consultant because they had helped people I knew, but I never really felt a connection. Toward the end, I switched to Gavriella on an hourly basis and immediately wished I had started with her from the beginning.
She helped me make sense of my story and uncovered insights I hadn’t even considered. Beyond her deep understanding of the schools and the application process, what truly sets Gavriella apart is how much she cares. She went out of her way to check in on decision days and offered encouragement at every step. Even after our sessions ended, she kept reaching out.
Having someone like Gavriella in my corner made all the difference. I got into my dream school because of her and If I could do it all over again, I’d work with her from day one.
She’s an absolute rockstar! Super responsive and willing to help. She checks in on you and has a very calming presence! Overall she was an absolute pleasure to work with! I couldn’t be happier with my results. As a non-traditional candidate she really explained the process and guided me through this journey. She helped with how I was thinking about schools, interviews, and ultimately my decision. Couldn’t have done this without her!
Working with Kim was a fantastic experience every step of the way! I started my applications fairly late, but Kim was able to get me up to speed quickly and we were able to put together a schedule that worked for me. In addition to the essay, she helped with everything, such as the short answers, preparing for interviews, entering work experience, etc. It all adds up over the course of the application and it’s essential to have someone who is supportive and knowledgable during each step.
For me, the essays required several iterations before they were strong enough. Kim’s support, reliability, and patience helped me to find the strongest possible narrative to support my application. Together, we found the most effective way for me to take feedback and improve my writing. Plus, Kim was very encouraging even when it took me multiple drafts. Eventually, when I submitted the essays, I felt extremely confident in them.
I could not recommend working with Melissa enough. She not only helped me get my applications together for 3 schools in about a month and half between summer travels and studying for the GRE, but she helped me do it in a way that was manageable without much of the stress and pressure I know I would have felt going through it on my own. If I was ever overwhelmed or frustrated that my essay wasn’t coming out exactly how I imagined it would or I was nervous for an interview, Melissa was always an email or a call away.
Melissa is so deeply knowledgeable about the MBA admissions process and experience. Every interaction I had with her felt unique and tailored in order to really help me to standout in the process — she doesn’t just “copy + paste” essay formats, storylines, or feedback from client to client but provides individualized and detailed consulting services. My essays felt completely true to myself and she helped me tell my own story better than I ever could as she really takes the time to get to know each client on both a personal and professional level to bring your full persona to life for the admissions committee. I almost think Melissa knew me better than I know myself by the end and I could tell that she genuinely cared about how I felt and the outcomes I received.
The advice Melissa gave me goes far beyond just my MBA admissions process. Coming into this experience I didn’t know exactly what I wanted to do post MBA, but Melissa really helped me discover potential career pathways that fit my experience, skills, and desired industry that I will continue to explore during my MBA. The interview prep was also invaluable. learned how to best speak to my career experiences, voice my career desires, and practice behavioral questions which I know will help me as I start interviewing for internships and full-time roles during my MBA. Truly, her work goes beyond just the initial MBA admissions process!
Melissa was really a great sounding board and cheerleader whether it be planning out essays, preparing for interviews, or debriefing admit day visits and deciding between schools. I always left our sessions feeling more confident and more excited for my journey ahead. Who would’ve thought that I am now sitting here missing our weekly calls!
If I had to do it over again I 100% would work with Melissa every time. I got into all 3 schools I applied to (2 M7s + 1 Top International Program) with scholarships at 2 and I am going into the school year in August so grateful and excited!
When I got the interview call from HBS, I was excited, but also nervous. I had heard how difficult the interview was with its rapid pace and the grilling that candidates go through. By referral from my MBA consultant, I was put in touch with Devi.
From the outset, Devi was outstanding in helping me understand my story better, especially in zooming out to understand the higher-level picture, and answering questions as such. An analytical person by nature, I defaulted to answering questions with painstaking detail, going too deep into the weeds and missing the big-picture strategic insights that the interviewer really wants to hear. Devi made me aware of this from our very first call, and helped me get in the mindset of telling the 30,000-foot, strategic view first, and then go deeper into details only if necessary. She also helped me get in touch with my own intuition and to be more authentic, instead of forcing myself to be rigid and unnecessarily rehearsed.
Through three mock interviews with Devi and lots of self-reflection and practice (listening to myself speak, as she recommended), I got to know my own story better and was able to enter the actual HBS interview with calm confidence. The actual interview felt slightly easier than the mocks I had done with Devi, which was great as I didn’t feel the nerves I thought I would on the big day.
All in all, I believe Devi is the reason why I was able to nail the interview and ultimately gain admission into HBS. Had it not been for her, I’m not sure I’d have told my story so compellingly, and the outcome may have been different. I am incredibly grateful for her help and could not recommend her more highly for anyone seeking to ace the HBS interview.
When I first started the MBA application process, I was told by other consultant firms that I was late to the game (it was late spring and I wanted to apply Round 1). However, I immediately clicked with Heidi who was super supportive and gave me a clear plan/roadmap for how to apply to 3 schools and take the GMAT by Round 1 deadlines. I really appreciated her organization/planning, which helped me stay on track while working a demanding investment banking job. I was nervous that coming from a typical investment banking background would make it hard for me to stand out in the applicant field. However, Heidi really got to know me & my personal story and truly helped to make me feel comfortable in sharing key pieces of my journey and shape that into concise, impactful essays. It is SO abundantly clear that Heidi truly cares about her clients, and I felt so supported and empowered throughout the process. I applied to CBS, Kellogg and Wharton. Heidi helped to brainstorm ideas for essays with me and proofread them, while keeping my authentic voice within them. I also really valued the interview prep, especially doing a mock Wharton team-based discussion through mbaMission to feel more comfortable with the format. I ended up getting into all 3 schools, with scholarships from both CBS and Kellogg. I am so extremely happy with the outcome – I truly cannot thank Heidi enough! I am so excited to start at Wharton in August 🙂 I would recommend Heidi 100%!!! So amazing, thoughtful and caring. Truly the best experience and outcome! Thank you, Heidi!
Before choosing a consultant, I carefully read through the bio of every single one. Among the list, Heidi Granner’s bio lit up green—ok, red on the actual website, but metaphorically speaking: green flags all the way!—against a backdrop of darker shades. How and why?
It’s easy to explain in hindsight, but at the time, you could only intuit it. Now that I’m on the other side, let me break down exactly what your gut might already be trying to tell you:
1. She knows exactly what top business schools want to hear—and just as important, what they don’t. The more thoughtful detail you provide her with in the brainstorming document, the more precise and compelling your story will become.
2. She adapts effortlessly—both professionally and personally—to your communication style and needs.
3. Her questions are sharp and insightful, pulling out the kind of depth that makes your application stand out.
If I could go back in time, I know my intuition would flash green the moment my cursor hovered over Heidi’s profile—every. single. time.
Going to business school is something I have wanted to do for a long time and something that I wanted expert help in pursuing. Throughout the entire MBA application process, Nisha was essential to getting accepted into one of my top programs. She was very responsive to any and all questions/requests I had and supported me for a full year to get to the finish line. Nisha has a wonderful “finger on the pulse” for exactly what MBA programs are looking for and the best way to cater to that given your own personal lived experiences and story. She makes it all seem authentic. I would strongly recommend using Nisha to achieve any and all MBA goals you have set for yourself.
The MBA admissions process is very daunting. It is hard to figure out what they want from you and how to showcase who you are compellingly and articulately. Melissa was the light in the dark tunnel of applying to MBA school. She was with me every step of the way, helping me shape and mould my abstract ideas and pushing me to look deep inside myself to showcase my value and story. Before this experience, I didn’t understand my story and what I had to offer. Within a short time, Melissa was able to understand me and help me present what made me special in a way the school wanted to see. Without her guidance, I could never have finished such a high-quality application within a month. Truly a top-notch professional with a personal coaching style.
When I began my MBA application journey, I was anxious, overwhelmed, and unsure of how to navigate the complex and competitive process. The research alone felt endless, and I struggled to articulate my story or clearly define my post-MBA goals. That’s when I decided to schedule a free consultation with Harshad and from that very first conversation, I knew I was in good hands. Harshad immediately struck me as someone with a warm, welcoming, and grounded presence. Despite my late start and tight timelines, he agreed to work with me, and I truly could not have asked for a better mentor throughout the process. We began by diving deep into my background, discussing my work experience, extracurriculars, and motivations. What I thought was the hard part (figuring out my story) turned out to be just the beginning. Harshad asked thoughtful, challenging questions that helped me gain clarity and direction, and his input was crucial in turning vague ideas into a compelling narrative.
Harshad didn’t push me to work on easy schools; he helped me understand what each program offered, what kind of student they looked for, and how I could position myself in a way that made sense for both sides. Every discussion was thorough and every decision intentional. As we moved into the application writing phase, Harshad brought incredible attention to detail. We swapped countless drafts of essays, and with each revision, he pushed me to dig deeper, think sharper, and write more authentically. He was always focused on preserving my voice and ensuring that no two essays sounded the same. Each application reflected a unique version of my story tailored to that particular school.
I believe where Harshad especially shines is his mastery over being an excellent storyteller and writer. He is able to craft together intricately all relevant details and transform it into writing. His writing is phenomenal, and his inputs and feedback would completely bring out the crux of an essay. I was pleasantly surprised at every final edit he did, and it was leagues ahead of the initial draft submitted. This skill really made me wonder how I would not have been able to submit such polished and impressive essays if it was not for Harshad.
Harshad’s strengths as a storyteller and writer are the perfect merger to succeed in your MBA applications, especially the essays and ‘your story’ component. What truly sets Harshad apart, though, is how he builds a full mental blueprint of his clients; not just professionally, but personally. He takes the time to understand your values, aspirations, and even how you think. This understanding shapes everything he advises on, and it creates a deeply personalized experience that never feels transactional. His feedback was clear, direct, and sometimes tough but always constructive.
Harshad not only prepped me on content but helped me sharpen my delivery, body language, and overall presence. I can say with full confidence that without Harshad’s guidance, I would not have performed as well in my interviews. Harshad also has a strong grasp on geopolitics, and he can guide his clients with ongoing current events accordingly. Most importantly, Harshad is just a genuinely good person. He cares deeply about his clients and their success. Working with him never felt like a service, it felt like being guided by a close friend or older sibling who truly wants to see you thrive. Thanks to his help, I was accepted into several top programs, including CBS and Fuqua. I wholeheartedly and without reservation recommend Harshad to anyone applying to business school!
I worked with Cat on my Master’s in Management (MiM) applications and had an outstanding experience. I was targeting several top European schools and mainly needed support with crafting my resume, answering application essays, and preparing for interviews. From the start, Cat was incredibly friendly, responsive, and insightful. After our first call, I knew we’d make a great team. She was always quick to reply and genuinely invested in my success—I could count on her for thoughtful, timely answers, even for quick questions. What I appreciated most was how she helped me shape the story I wanted to tell. Cat took the time to understand my background and accomplishments, then guided me in presenting them in a compelling way across my applications. Whenever I felt unsure about how to approach a particular essay or prompt, she helped me reframe my thinking and gain clarity. Cat supported me throughout the entire MiM application journey, making what could have been an overwhelming process feel manageable and even enjoyable. Thanks to her guidance, I was accepted into my top-choice school: HEC Paris. I’m incredibly grateful—thank you, Cat!
I first met Gavriella through a referral from my friend who worked with Gavriella a year before who got accepted to Wharton. After my first meeting, I felt confident in working with her, so I decided to work with Gavriella without shopping around.
My decision to do so turned out amazingly. Gavriella helped me ideate my branding as a candidate in a very thoughtful way, so that you can avoid being a cookie cutter candidate. In the days of Chat GPT, one might think they could apply on their own. Could be true, but I always felt that the input Gavriella provided were several notches better than what you can get from AI tools. I think the differentiation comes from the detailed touches based on her breadth of experience.
She is also very resourceful in terms of her support. She would try her best to be available when you need for many different needs, and will provide support both practically and emotionally.
Through her help, I was able to get accepted to 4 out of 4 MBAs I did my interview with, and eventually enroll at Wharton. I recommended Gavriella to all of my friends who are prepping for their MBAs, and I would do so for any other people who are considering to work with her.
Working with Jessica was the most impactful decisions I made during my MBA application journey. Thanks to her guidance, I will be going to one of my top priorities.
From the start, Jessica brought an incredible blend of thoughtfulness, intelligence, and strategic insight. She took the time to truly understand my story, goals, and motivations—not just on the surface, but at a deep level that allowed her to help me tell my story in a way that felt both authentic and compelling.
Jessica never approached the process with a cookie-cutter mindset. Instead, she tailored her advice and feedback to my unique profile. She challenged me to think more critically about how I presented myself and pushed me to refine each part of my application—from my resume to my essays—with precision and purpose.
Perhaps most importantly, Jessica was incredibly supportive throughout the process. Applying to business school can feel like a marathon, but Jessica’s approach helped me stay grounded and confident. She was responsive, encouraging, and always generous with her time and insights.
I firmly believe that Jessica played a key role in helping me reach this next stage in my career. Her professionalism, strategic thinking, and genuine care for her clients make her an exceptional consultant. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking to apply to a top MBA program.
I worked with Nisha Trivedi throughout my entire Executive MBA application journey—Haas, Wharton, and Stanford MSx—and I can say without hesitation that I would not have gotten past the initial application review at any of these programs without her.
Nisha brought a rare combination of strategic insight, tough love, and genuine care. She pushed me to dig deeper when my essays were too surface-level, helped me structure my story in a way that was both authentic and compelling, and never let me settle for “good enough.” Her feedback was precise, actionable, and always grounded in what each school was really looking for—not just generic advice.
She also coached me through interviews at all three programs. Her prep sessions were rigorous and personalized—she anticipated tough questions I hadn’t considered, challenged my delivery, and made sure I communicated both confidence and humility.
I didn’t have a perfect profile—my GPA was low, and I had a non-traditional background—but Nisha helped me highlight my strengths, own my story, and present a cohesive, powerful narrative. Her belief in me never wavered, even when mine did.
I ultimately gained admission to a top EMBA program, and I credit Nisha’s support as one of the biggest reasons why. If you’re serious about business school and want someone who’s in your corner every step of the way—but also won’t hesitate to push you to be your best—Nisha is the person you want.
Working with Gavriella was one of the best decisions I made during my MBA application process. Her guidance was structured, insightful, and always tailored to my unique background and goals. Thanks to her support, I was accepted to 2 T15 programs, 1 M7 school, and waitlisted at another M7. She helped me craft compelling essays, prepare strategically for interviews, and ultimately gain admission to my top-choice program. Beyond the technical support, Gavriella were a steady source of encouragement throughout a stressful process. I highly recommend Gavriella to anyone looking to elevate their MBA applications.
Working with Gavriella was hands down the best decision I made during my MBA application journey. From our first intro call, she believed in me even though I wasn’t confident. She encouraged me to apply to schools that I initially thought were completely out of my league—and I’m so grateful she did. With her help, I’m attending my dream program in NYC!
Throughout our time together, I felt supported and reassured , and no question was too big or small for her. Her knowledge of each of the schools I was applying to was incredible and took the time to provide thoughtful, honest, and practical advice on how to put my best foot forward in my applications while remaining authentic. She kept my goals in mind and went out of the way to send me incredible resources to leverage. We quickly built a trusted relationship and it was awesome to collaborate together to determine which stories would work best in my applications.
One of her strengths that I really admire is that she makes you feel like you’re the only person that she is working with. She knows the smallest details about me and took the time to understand my story. I felt heard and understood, and I knew she just wanted what was best for me. She gives incredible career advice, and would always answer my calls when I was in an anxious state. She really calmed my nerves and helped me navigate the process from applications to interviews to final school selection.
She was undoubtedly the best part of my application process and incredibly grateful that we had the opportunity to work together! Gavriella – thank you!
Working with Susan Kaplan was the single best decision I made in my MBA application journey. I worked with her on two ‘Start-To-Finish’ application packages, and with her guidance, I am so fortunate to say that I was admitted to both Columbia and Kellogg, and am heading to Evanston this fall to join the Kellogg MBA Class of 2027.
I interviewed several admissions consultants, and Susan stood out immediately. Her approach is equal parts strategic, detail-oriented, and deeply human. Early on, she challenged me to think beyond surface-level achievements and dig into the “why” behind my goals. That introspection didn’t just make my applications more polished, powerful, and personal – it made me more confident in my long-term career direction.
What truly sets Susan apart is the way she combines relentless precision with unwavering partnership. Like a great teacher who knows your potential, she doesn’t just reject “good enough” – she makes you want to push yourself. Every essay went through multiple rounds of thoughtful, incisive feedback. She challenged me to clarify my logic, tighten my language, and craft a story that was both cohesive and compelling. By the time I submitted, I was proud of every word. Yet as hard as Susan pushes you, it’s clear she’s right there with you the whole way. At times, I felt like Susan was even more invested in my story than I was. She was consistently responsive, encouraging, and honest. I never felt like just another client – I felt like I had a coach who cared just as much about the outcome as I did.
These comments are not empty words. Throughout my journey, I spoke with dozens of admitted students and peers working through their own applications. For those that worked with consultants, reviews were a fairly mixed bag. I’m grateful I had the chance to work with Susan and can say with resounding confidence that my application would not have been as polished or powerful without her help.
If you’re serious about getting into a top MBA program – and you’re ready to do the deep work – Susan is the partner to get you there. She’s not just an admissions consultant – she’s a coach, an advisor, and one of the few people who will truly know your story inside and out.
Kimberly Hoey was a PHENOMENAL partner in my MBA journey, and I truly could not have come this far without her insight, support, and unwavering empathy. I’m beyond grateful to have worked with her over the past few months – on an intense Round 2 timeline – during which I applied to five schools and received admits from four (with scholarship). That outcome alone speaks volumes about the impact she had during my process.
From the beginning, I was unsure about my MBA candidacy due to a low undergrad GPA. Kim stood out as the only consultant who struck the perfect balance between giving me hope and keeping me grounded. She approached my story with genuine curiosity, kindness, and helped me bring it to life with clarity, authenticity, and precision – even with word limits. What truly set her apart was her ability to surface not just the impact, but also the decisions and context that led to it, turning my experiences into a trustworthy narrative. With her help, I was able to pivot perceived weaknesses into strengths and share my growth through compelling stories. Her strength lies in the art of storytelling while preserving authenticity, and it’s truly a rare gift!!
What also impressed me was how Kim took me on with a very tight timeline – just three months to go before deadlines – and I had almost no prior knowledge of the application process. Yet she built a comprehensive plan, kept me on track, gave me space when needed, and constantly encouraged me through every high and low. Her structured approach, attention to detail, and emotional intelligence were exactly what I needed “Sometimes, you just have to take baby steps,” she told me, and that made all the difference.
I would totally 100% RECOMMEND Kim to anyone considering an MBA. Apart from all the tangible aspects of this partnership, she always responded to my (sometimes anxious!) emails with patience, grace, and a few laughs in between. She’s a true partner in what is an incredibily intense journey. I learned so much from her and will always be thankful for her guidance through this rewarding (and challenging!) process.
I ultimately chose to attend Booth, a result that still feels surreal!! And I owe so much of that success to Kim’s incredible support and belief in me and my story.
Working with Gavriella completely transformed my MBA application experience and significantly boosted my confidence throughout the process. From our very first meeting during the free trial session, I immediately connected with her transparency, positivity, and thoughtful approach.
Coming from a business background with seemingly unconnected stories, I initially struggled to present a cohesive narrative. Gavriella helped me highlight the unique strengths in my profile, guiding me in weaving them into a compelling and authentic application.
One of the aspects I appreciated most was the mutual honesty and respect in our collaboration. Gavriella provided candid, constructive feedback when my drafts fell short, while also being open and receptive when I wanted to explore a different direction. It was clear that she not only listened to my feedback, but also incorporated it in ways that truly elevated my application.
Her support extended beyond the application itself. She acted as a sounding board while I narrowed down my school list, helping me weigh each option. I purchased the full application package and found her responsiveness and availability to be excellent – she was always accessible for calls and provided timely, thorough input.
Gavriella’s guidance was invaluable, and I couldn’t have asked for a better partner in this journey.
Working with Nisha was hands down one of the best parts of my MBA application journey.
I don’t think I would’ve been able to put my best foot forward without her. She helped me figure out how to tell my story in a way that felt honest and true to who I am, but also clear and strategic. I leaned on her experience to help me find the right stories and shape my overall narrative in a way that made sense. She was a real thought partner every step of the way.
With her help, I was admitted to multiple target programs. I genuinely don’t think I could’ve done it without her. I have a lot of respect for her work, and I’d strongly recommend her to anyone applying to business school.
As someone who comes from a very untraditional background for business school, with no friends or mentors applying for MBAs, an admissions consultant felt necessary.
I talked with a few different consultants before finally meeting Jessica and it was a breath of fresh air. She struck the perfect balance between being optimistic/motiviational as well as realistic about my chances. Her brainstorming process allowed us to frontload most of the work so that when it came to writing the actual essays, the difficult part was already done. Her feedback was incredibly clear and she provided as much direction as I wanted throughout the whole process.
I ended up getting into two top programs along with a substantial scholarship so the investment was definitely worth it.
One of the biggest strengths of this service is the personalized support. From the very beginning, Jessica made me feel heard and understood. I was struggling to clearly express my story, but she asked the right questions, listened closely, and helped me bring out the experiences that truly mattered. Her feedback was always thoughtful, and her insights pushed me to think more deeply about how to present myself with clarity and confidence.
What really set Jessica apart was her unwavering belief in me. While others were quick to say that my dream school was out of reach, Jessica never saw it that way. She saw my potential even when I doubted myself, and that belief gave me the confidence to keep going. She helped me polish every detail until my application felt authentic and strong.
Thanks to her guidance and encouragement, I achieved something I once thought was impossible. I’m incredibly grateful for her support and can honestly say I wouldn’t be where I am today without her help.
