mbaMission was essential to my MBA application process. Most importantly, my consultant, Kimberly Hoey, was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and guided me smoothly through the entire process from beginning to end for my applications to both CBS and NYU. Her knowledge of the schools, their application processes, and how to best stand out to them gave me the best possible chance of success with my applications. She was also extremely friendly and organized in her communication, and was always available to hop on a video call to discuss any questions I had and help guide my application development. It was a real pleasure to work with Kimberly. Given that I was admitted to NYU, I would highly recommend Kimberly and mbaMission! Thanks to their excellent guidance and knowledge, I was able to achieve my goal of attending one of the best MBA programs in the country!
Melissa’s biggest strength is her ability to set a very high standard while giving honest, actionable feedback. From the very first round of essay drafts, she pushed me much harder than I expected—not by rewriting my story, but by asking the right questions and challenging me to think much more deeply and introspectively about my experiences and goals. That process ultimately made my applications significantly stronger.
She also has extensive experience working with MBA applicants across top programs, so her guidance was grounded in a clear understanding of what admissions committees are looking for. I always appreciated that she was candid and never overpromised outcomes.
On the logistical side, she was consistently responsive, timely, and easy to reach by email, which made the process much less stressful.
One thing that stood out to me was how supportive she was when I decided to postpone my applications by a year. She was thoughtful and understanding about my decision, helped me think through how to best use the extra time, and continued to check in over the following year without any pressure. It genuinely felt like she cared about helping me succeed on my own timeline.
I worked with Susan on my interview prep for deferred enrollment programs, and she was excellent throughout the entire process. She helped me develop my personal narrative, prepare for behavioral questions, and strengthen my rationale for the programs I interviewed for. I believe that her insights were the difference maker in my acceptance to one of my dream schools. Outside our interview, Susan provided constant guidance over email that was both candid and supportive. This service certainly comes at a premium, but the return on investment is substantial! I couldn’t recommend her more highly.
I did five GMAT attempts and never hit the score I was aiming for, so when I started working with Jen I had pretty much written off my chances at Oxford, Cambridge, and LBS. Jen made it clear from the start that the GMAT is only one part of the application and she pushed me to reflect on who I am and what my strengths are. The early calls were spent figuring that out: my background, my strengths, what I genuinely connected with at each school. She was good at pulling that out of me even when I could not articulate it myself. From there we worked through the essays and resume together, iterating a lot and ensuring that each of the applications was tailored to each school. We had an interview prep call before each one with a full mock and a rundown of what to expect. The aim was to make sure I was representing myself in each interview and staying natural. Ultimately, I got into all three schools with a scholarship at one, and I would never have done it without Jen’s help and dedication to her clients. I can’t recommend Jen enough, especially if you’re targeting UK schools.
While I did not formally work with Jessica during my MBA application process, she had a meaningful impact on my journey nonetheless.
What stood out most was her generosity with her time and expertise. Despite not being a paying client, she was always willing to help – whether through a quick call, prompt responses to my emails, or thoughtful guidance at critical decision points. Her insights were consistently valuable and demonstrated a deep understanding of top business schools and the nuances of finding the right fit for each applicant.
I would wholeheartedly recommend working with Jessica. Her genuine willingness to help, combined with her knowledge, honesty, and mentorship, makes her far more than just an admissions consultant, she becomes a trusted partner throughout the MBA application process. Anyone would be fortunate to have her support and guidance on their journey.
I worked with Cat Ho at mbaMission as my consultant for Wharton/Lauder, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. I was admitted to Wharton/Lauder, my top choice, with a significant scholarship as both a Lauder Fellow and a Wharton Fellow.
Choosing Cat was an easy decision. She’s a Wharton/Lauder alumna herself, so she brought real, firsthand insight into the program. Not just generic advice, but a genuine understanding of what the school is about and what it looks for.
What set Cat apart was how thought-provoking she was. She asked some genuinely great questions that pulled out stories and angles I never would have thought to use in my application. She helped me see how my own values aligned with those of Wharton/Lauder, and she had a real talent for surfacing things about myself that I didn’t realize were application-worthy.
As an international applicant, I especially appreciated how she helped me align my story to bring out my international strengths rather than letting them get lost. She understood how to position that background as an asset.
Cat was also excellent at managing timelines. She followed up whenever I had a delayed task, which kept everything on track and meant I was never scrambling before a deadline. We finished my application a full week early, which gave me time to do final checks at a relaxed pace.
Finally, Cat is genuinely encouraging. I came in with a few potential weaknesses, and rather than glossing over them, she worked closely with me to understand them and figure out how to address them. That combination of honesty and support made all the difference.
I’d recommend Cat without hesitation to anyone serious about their MBA applications.
I worked with Jessica on my applications to HBS and Stanford GSB, and I cannot imagine a better experience. She provided stellar guidance throughout the entire application process, both in terms of finalizing the list of schools I applied to and in how to approach each application. She made the daunting essays in each application feel much more approachable; she was crucial to helping me tell my story. Thanks to her help, I was admitted to HBS!
Working with Nisha was the best decision I made during my MBA application journey. Thanks to her guidance, I was accepted into five schools and am headed to my dream program, Tuck, with significant scholarship awards! Nisha’s absolute biggest strength is helping you dig deep to craft a unique, authentic story and clearly define your post-MBA goals. Her working style is incredibly encouraging, which kept me motivated throughout a stressful process. On top of that, she is highly responsive and has lightning-fast turnaround times. If you want a consultant who truly invests in your success and delivers results, look no further than Nisha.
I cannot say enough positive things about Jessica. From the moment we first met over Zoom, I knew that having her in my corner would put me in the strongest possible position. I decided to apply to schools on a relatively compressed timeline, and Jessica supported me through every stage of the process. Her guidance was invaluable.
Jessica has a unique combination of qualities that make her an elite MBA consultant. She has deep knowledge of the nuances of each school and knows how to position candidates effectively. When it came to positioning my story, she took the time to get to know me as a person before diving into my professional background. Not only did she help me articulate my story effectively, but she also helped me reach a deeper understanding of myself, my past decisions, and future ambitions, which I was not expecting at all.
Working with Jessica was simply easy. She responded to my emails with remarkable speed and clarity. She is a skilled communicator and knows when to be direct (and how to deliver direct feedback), when to nurture an anxious mind, and when to offer praise. She is honest, constructive, and always kind. She gave me the time and space to express my anxieties and uncertainties, while not letting me get bogged down by them. She is extremely smart and her emotional intelligence is exceptional. She is the definition of a professional, but also extremely likeable and fun to talk to. She was genuinely and personally invested in my success, which felt amazing. Working with Jessica was the best decision I made, and I would recommend her without hesitation to anyone seeking guidance while navigating the MBA process.
I spoke with several MBA consultants before deciding to work with Susan, and the difference was obvious from our very first conversation.
While many consultants focused on my weaknesses or offered generic advice, Susan immediately saw the bigger picture. She took the time to understand not just my resume, but who I was as a person, what motivated me, and what made my story unique. More importantly, she gave me something I desperately needed during a difficult application journey: faith, honesty, and a clear strategy.
My MBA process spanned multiple application cycles and included plenty of highs and lows. Through all of it, Susan was a steady source of guidance. She knew when to push me and when to remind me not to lose confidence in myself. She never sugarcoated things, but she also never made me feel like my goals were out of reach. Every conversation left me feeling more focused, more prepared, and more capable.
Susan is far more than an admissions consultant. She is an exceptional storyteller, strategist, coach, and thought partner. She helped me connect the dots across my experiences in a way that felt authentic to who I am, while also helping me understand how admissions committees would view my candidacy. She consistently found strengths and opportunities in my story that I would have overlooked on my own.
Even after applications were submitted, Susan continued to be an invaluable advisor. She helped me navigate interviews, waitlists, scholarship negotiations, school selection, and some of the biggest career and life decisions I have faced. At every step, I felt like I had someone in my corner who genuinely cared about my success.
Today, I am heading to my dream program with a generous merit scholarship package, and I can say without hesitation that I would not be where I am without Susan’s guidance. Working with her was one of the best investments I have ever made. She is worth every penny.
If you are looking for someone who will not only help you get into business school but also help you become a stronger, more confident version of yourself throughout the process, I cannot recommend Susan highly enough.
Cat Ho was an exceptional, empathetic, and knowledgeable MBA admissions consultant who guided me through every step of the application process. From the start, Cat was enthusiastic to understand my personal and professional story. From the intro call up until the last essay, I felt at ease sharing about my upbringing and motivations as if I was catching up with a childhood friend. This comfort helped me express an authentic version of myself through my essays that I was proud to submit. My test scores and GPA would not be considered a standout profile by the numbers, however, she had faith in my story and patiently supported me through countless rounds of deliberations on which schools to apply to when I didn’t get the test scores I wanted.
Before working with Cat, I spoke with several MBA consultants who were skeptical of my post-MBA goal of moving to Asia. In contrast, Cat was both encouraging and realistic. She supported my aspirations while helping me develop clear contingency plans, allowing me to pursue ambitious goals with confidence and a practical path forward.
Cat always provided honest and constructive feedback on my essays. She pushed me to articulate my desire in my essays and interviews about why I needed an MBA, especially the granular details about why my goals and the experience offered at the school were a perfect fit. During our resume reviews, Cat was meticulous with the structure and each word in my resume. It was easily the best resume I’ve ever had.
Cat was punctual throughout the entire application process. She always provided her feedback in a timely manner and made it a priority scheduling the mock interviews.
With Cat’s expertise and guidance, I was accepted into the University of Michigan’s Ross MBA program with $60K in merit scholarships. I was so ecstatic to be accepted that the scholarship money came as a big surprise. I fully believe that Cat is the reason I had such a positive result with Ross. I am extremely grateful for Cat’s guidance, and I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking to achieve their dream of enrolling in an MBA program.
While working with Kate Richardson for my application, I was referred to Kim for a portion of my application process. I was so happy to be able to get my application in front of Kim. I beleive her final touches, along with her support to apply to my dream school despite a lower GMAT score was critical in my acceptances.
My favorite part of working with her was the mock interview we did. That dry run allowed me to have an amazing time in the actual interviews as they closley resembled the actual interviews I went through. I am so happy to share that I got into both of my M7 target schools.
With my highest hopes to join an M7 school the following year, I signed up with mbaMission to give me a sense of confidence when submitting my application. Kate, from the free consultation and throughout my application process gave me valuable insight that I am so grateful for. I beleive that her advice on positioning my application gave me the edge I needed to attend my dream school. Thank you Kate!
I worked with Harold throughout my MBA application process, and what stood out immediately was how invested he was in understanding my background, goals, and overall candidacy. I applied to a wide range of business schools, each with different requirements and approaches, and Harold was consistently available to provide thoughtful guidance.
I would not have been able to develop an effective professional narrative or clearly articulate my background and career goals without Harold’s guidance. He helped me make sense of my experiences, identify the themes that connected them, and present them in a way that was both authentic and compelling. His feedback was thoughtful and constructive, and his perspective was invaluable in helping me communicate my story effectively throughout the application process.
What I appreciated most was Harold’s responsiveness and steady support throughout the process. His turnaround times were excellent, he always understood the priorities associated with upcoming deadlines, and I genuinely felt like he was in my corner from start to finish. I was balancing the application process alongside a demanding, high-hour job, and despite the many moving pieces, I never felt rushed or constrained in our work together. He was flexible when needed and always made time to address questions or provide feedback. He was always supportive and confident in my potential.
Most importantly, his guidance produced results. I was admitted to more than seven programs, including my top two choices. I am extremely grateful for Harold’s support and would highly recommend him to anyone navigating the MBA admissions process.
Michael is simply the best MBA consultant I have worked with. I came to him relatively late in the process, needing help sharpening my application, and he delivered, fast, thoughtfully, and without any fluff. He has an ability to pull out what makes you distinct and put it on the page in a way that actually lands. I couldn’t have done it without him. I have been admitted to multiple target schools with significant scholarships, and Michael’s guidance was a meaningful part of making that happen. If you’re serious about your MBA goals, Michael is the guy to go to!
I was in between searching for a new job and applying to business schools fairly late. I decided to focus on my MBA during the 4th round window. Without much guidance, I needed a consultant to lean on where I found Gavriella. From the start during our free consultation, she really helped guide me in my MBA journey. One of my biggest weaknesses is boasting about my successes. Realizing this is crucial to the application process, Gavriella was able to provide feedback in an efficient manner while digging into the details of my applications. I started the process with little confidence in being accepted and walked away with large scholarships from both of my target programs with the help of Gavriella.
Prior to working with Heidi, I had applied to business schools across two intake years and three rounds, working with other consultants each time. Coming from an overrepresented demographic and carrying the weight of prior rejections, I was in a difficult place when a former colleague referred me to Heidi. From the very first free consultation, she stood apart. She had an almost therapeutic ability to help me rebuild confidence — warm, honest, and genuinely invested from day one. My two biggest struggles had been refining my career goals and articulating my personal story. Heidi was masterful on both, offering strategic advice on my post-MBA goals and drawing out authentic values reflected in my life outside of work. As a reapplicant, she also helped me address my career pivot and growth convincingly and used short answers and the additional essay to tie every loose end together. Her interview preparation deserves its own paragraph. I have always been anxious about interviews, but Heidi’s process is iterative and deeply personal. She works on content structure, answer length, posture, lighting, audio, and body language in equal measure, giving constructive feedback at every step until you arrive at a version of yourself that is polished but completely natural. By the time I walked into my actual interviews, I felt like an expert. The results honestly exceeded my wildest expectations: admits from Columbia, NYU Stern, Haas, Darden, and Fuqua, plus a waitlist at Booth. As an international applicant in a highly competitive pool, Heidi made this possible. Cannot recommend her highly enough.
I worked with Nisha Trivedi at mbaMission on my MBA applications, and I can’t recommend her highly enough. I came in with a non-traditional background. Nisha understood how to help me translate that operational experience into a story that resonated with admissions committees. What set her apart was how she pushed me to dig into the specifics. She never wrote anything for me, and I appreciated that. Instead, she asked the right questions until I found the real story underneath my own experience. When I talked about turning around a struggling operation, she kept probing until I surfaced the details that actually mattered, the numbers, the decisions, the leadership moments. The words were always mine, but she made them sharper. She’s collaborative and genuinely helpful, which made the whole process feel like a partnership. When an essay wasn’t landing, she’d work through it with me and help me find a better angle rather than just pointing out what was wrong. We worked together closely on one school, and she also shared tips that helped me strengthen my other applications along the way. She knew each program’s culture and what it was looking for, which made her guidance feel tailored rather than generic. Her interview prep was a real highlight. Ahead of one of my interviews, we did a full mock and she gave me specific, actionable feedback that made a genuine difference in how I showed up on the actual day. I walked in far more confident because of it. The MBA process has its ups and downs. Not every application goes your way, and mine was no exception, but Nisha was a steady, invested partner throughout. I ultimately got into an M7 program I’m thrilled about, and beyond the outcome, the process made me a sharper communicator and gave me real clarity on my goals. If you’re considering working with her, do it. You won’t regret it!
I applied to two programs for entry into MBA Fall 2026 and was admitted to both – HBS and GSB. This would not have been possible without Gavi’s incredible support. She provided critical input into the resume refining process and was a true thought partner during essay crafting, finding throughlines over the course of my academic, professional, and personal life. Gavi has also gone above and beyond multiple times throughout our collaboration together, prepping behind the scenes for tailored mock interview sessions and providing last-minute support. Would highly recommend working with her!
Heidi was an incredible strategic partner throughout my entire business school application process. From defining my school list and brainstorming unique essay concepts to proofreading drafts and conducting mock interviews, her insights were invaluable. Her guidance undoubtedly played a massive role in helping me secure multiple acceptances to my target programs. Beyond her admissions expertise, I deeply appreciated the level of detail, structure, and organization Heidi brought to a notoriously complex process. The customized application calendar she built was absolutely critical to how I managed my time and stayed ahead of Round 1 deadlines. If you are considering working with a consultant, I cannot recommend Heidi highly enough. She is professional, kind, encouraging, and deeply invested in helping her clients achieve exceptional results.
I cannot recommend Debbie highly enough. Navigating the MBA application process can be incredibly overwhelming. I applied the previous year and didn’t get the results I was hoping for. This time, Debbie provided the strategic clarity I needed to stand out. Coming from an international and non-traditional family business background, I was concerned about how my profile would be perceived. However, Debbie helped me refine my professional narrative and effectively communicated to admissions teams exactly why I was a perfect fit for their programs. What I appreciated most was her unwavering encouragement; rather than focusing on the potential weaknesses in my application, she focused on tailoring my story to showcase my unique strengths. Thanks to her expert guidance, I received admission offers from several M7 programs. If you are looking for a consultant who is professional, insightful, and a true master of the admissions landscape, look no further.
In an industry full of people who will happily remind you why you won’t make it, Heidi is the rare person who bets on you, and then works relentlessly to prove it. As a general engineering male applying to business school, the odds were stacked and everyone made sure I knew it. She didn’t flinch. She believed in the application we were building before I fully did.
The work ethic is real. The essay and resume edits are sharp. Her grasp of the AdCom’s perspective is something else entirely, nothing felt like guesswork, everything felt intentional. The timeline she built was airtight, and I never once made a decision from a place of panic or anxiety.
If you’re on the fence, get off it. Go for Heidi.
Cat Ho was an incredibly supportive, professional, and constructive MBA consultant throughout my application journey. I feel very lucky to have found her and truly appreciated her support throughout the process. With her guidance, I was admitted to Cornell Johnson as a reapplicant. I would highly recommend Cat to anyone looking for an experienced, detail-oriented, personable and genuinely caring MBA admissions consultant.
Cat’s advice was consistently insightful, practical and tailored to my situation. She asked thought-provoking questions that helped me reflect more deeply on my experiences and present my story more clearly. She understands what business schools value and helped me identify the most relevant parts of my experiences. When unexpected situations came up, she was experienced and resourceful in helping me find solutions.
As an international applicant planning a career pivot to the US, I found it extremely helpful that Cat is familiar with the US culture and values. When it came to presenting topics such as my career trajectory and future goals, she helped me frame them in a way that would resonate with an international admissions audience, ensuring that important parts of my story were recognized for their true value.
Cat was excellent at managing the overall timeline and pace of our work together. Even during urgent moments, she responded very quickly and helped me stay calm. Her turnaround time was consistently reliable and easy to work with. I really came to rely on Cat as my guide in this process, and this faith in her allowed me to relax and focus on what I needed to do.
Beyond her professionalism, Cat was also very encouraging. She was always cheering me on and giving me confidence when I needed it. She believed in me from the very beginning, even when I didn’t believe in myself as a reapplicant. Through our mock interviews, she helped me understand what an actual MBA interview would feel like, prepare strong answers to common questions, and let go of unnecessary worries about unlikely scenarios. She also taught me tips on how to make the meeting settings look professional like in the American workplace. That preparation greatly improved my ability to stay composed, manage the conversation, and speak with confidence.
I can’t recommend Cat enough. If you get to work with her, you won’t regret it.
When I started my MBA application journey, I was excited but uncertain about my chances at my dream schools. One of the things that stood out about Gavi from our very first conversation was her confidence in me. She never labeled any school as a “reach,” which reframed how I approached the entire process. Instead, she took the time to understand my background, identify my strengths, and help me present the strongest version of myself.
Throughout the process, Gavi provided thoughtful, constructive, and timely feedback on every essay. She challenged me to dig deeper into my experiences while ensuring my authentic voice remained intact. Her guidance transformed rough ideas into compelling stories that I never would have uncovered on my own, reflecting who I was both professionally and personally.
Beyond the essays, Gavi was instrumental in preparing me for interviews. Her coaching helped me stay focused, confident, and relaxed, allowing me to present myself naturally rather than feeling rehearsed. She was always available to answer questions, calm nerves, and give honest advice.
What impressed me most was that Gavi’s support didn’t end once the applications were submitted. Even after our formal engagement was over, she continued to check in and meet with me as I navigated admissions decisions. She consistently went above and beyond what I initially expected from a consultant, and her genuine investment in my success made all the difference.
Looking back, I went from being uncertain about what the future might hold to receiving four MBA acceptances, including admission to three M7 programs and a scholarship offer. I am incredibly grateful for Gavi’s guidance, support, and belief in me throughout the process. For anyone considering an MBA consultant, I can confidently say that working with Gavi was the single best investment I made in my MBA journey.
I worked with Jessica during my MBA reapplication cycle, and the results were outstanding. After receiving no M7 admits in my first cycle, I was admitted to four M7 schools, as well as Tuck and Yale SOM, and received over $260,000 in scholarship offers.
To be fair, my GRE score improved significantly between cycles, which certainly helped, but Jessica’s really helped me craft and communicate my story. I work in venture capital and am involved in nonprofit work, and she helped me connect those experiences into a clear, authentic narrative that felt genuinely representative of who I am.
What stood out most was her judgment. I’m naturally very analytical and often had highly specific questions about positioning, school strategy, and career goals. Jessica consistently provided thoughtful, confident guidance and helped me make decisions quickly when I would otherwise have overthought them. Her ability to understand and shape a candidate’s story is something AI simply can’t replicate.
I would strongly recommend Jessica, especially for reapplicants and candidates with unconventional backgrounds who need help turning a complex profile into a compelling application.
I had an excellent experience working with Gavriella and would recommend her without hesitation.
She was extremely responsive throughout the process, which made a huge difference given how stressful MBA applications can be. More importantly, she really knows what she is doing. She listens carefully, understands your story, and knows how to bring out the strongest, most authentic version of your profile without making it feel forced or generic.
I applied to only one school, in Round 3, in a very competitive environment, and was admitted. That result speaks for itself. Beyond the outcome, Gavriella was incredibly helpful in pushing me to think more clearly, communicate my story better, and get the best out of myself.
She is sharp, thoughtful, supportive, and very easy to work with. I would definitely recommend her to anyone applying to business school.
I highly recommend working with Jen! I worked with Jen under an incredibly tight timeline – I got a GMAT score that put me in the range T15’s two weeks until applications were due. Jen was incredibly responsive and worked with me many late nights to make sure I got the best quality applications out and on time.
I was below the class profile averages of each school for GPA / GMAT and was applying in the last and toughest round. Yet I was accepted to all three schools I applied to! I have Jen to thank for that.
I highly recommend working with Jen to anyone considering applying to business school. It is a definite needle mover.
Susan went above and beyond every step of the way in this process. She is an amazing story teller and did a great job helping me think through both my personal interests as well as how to brand myself in my applications. Even after I hit submit, Susan made herself available, helping me navigate negotiating scholarships, choosing a program, and even framing the conversation with my current job on leaving. She truly was invested in understanding my story and helping me prepare the best materials possible that were authentic to me. I would not have received such a great scholarship package without her help and am so grateful to have had her in my corner throughout this process!
Working with Nisha throughout the MBA application process was incredibly valuable. She was consistently quick to turn things around, which made the process feel much more manageable during busy application periods. Her feedback was always thoughtful, actionable, and genuinely improved my essays and overall application strategy.
What I appreciated most was how much time and care she invested in really understanding my background and personal story. She consistently remembered specific details from earlier conversations and was able to reference them when giving feedback or suggesting alternate directions for essays. That level of attentiveness made the process feel very personalized, and it was clear that she genuinely cared about helping me present the strongest and most authentic version of myself. She also had a strong understanding of the different schools and what each program was looking for, which helped me approach every application more strategically and confidently.
I’m incredibly excited to be attending an M7 program this fall, and Nisha played an important role in helping me get there. I’m very grateful for her guidance, support, and encouragement throughout the process, and I would highly recommend her to anyone applying to business school.
When I started the MBA admissions process, I had very little understanding of what to expect and felt significant uncertainty around where I could realistically aim or how to position myself. Gavriella completely transformed that experience for me. She helped me thoughtfully curate my story and, more importantly, uncover my strengths and what truly makes me, me.
One of the most impactful aspects of working with Gavriella was how she coached and encouraged me to apply to my dream school, something I initially viewed as out of reach and was hesitant to pursue. She pushed me to take that leap, reminding me that I would never know what was possible unless I tried. At the same time, she ensured I was fully prepared for every step of the process, particularly interviews. With her support, I was not only accepted to my dream program, but to every school I applied to.
What sets Gavriella apart is her ability to both challenge and support you. She guided me through deep reflection on my experiences and values, ensuring they came through clearly and authentically across all of my application materials. She takes the time to truly understand you, not just as an applicant, but as an individual and a future business leader.
She was always available to support me, whether that meant answering questions, hopping on a quick call, or helping me think through ideas and concerns. Her guidance is both practical and insightful, and she has a unique ability to bring clarity and confidence to moments of uncertainty.
I could not have done this without her. Gavriella was an integral coach and partner throughout this process, transforming what initially felt intimidating and overwhelming into an experience that was seamless, enjoyable, and incredibly rewarding and I am sincerely grateful to have had the opportunity to go through it with her.
Working with JA was massive for my MBA application process. Ultimately, I got into the schools I applied to(CBS/Wharton), which makes the entire investment worth it. Looking back at the journey, her resume restructuring and essay editing services were incredibly helpful. She has a talent for helping you find your voice and shaping your professional story into something compelling for an admissions committee.
Furthermore, her interview preparation, especially for Wharton’s TBD format, was exceptional and completely calmed my nerves. I cannot recommend Julie-Anne enough to anyone navigating this competitive process. She is an absolute rockstar!
I had a great experience working with Gavriella on my business school application. I decided very last minute to apply in Round 3 and she was integral in helping me quickly brainstorm, ideate, and draft my materials. She took the time to review everything I sent her in detail and worked very efficiently. She dropped everything to review things as soon as I sent them, sometimes even returning things by morning when I sent them late at night.
I would highly recommend Gavriella to anyone who is applying to business school.
When I began the MBA application process, I spoke with seven different admissions consultants across several firms. They all seemed largely apathetic toward my background, and one even suggested I wait several more years before applying. By the end of those conversations, I felt more discouraged than confident about my candidacy.
Then I met Melissa.
From our very first conversation, Melissa approached my candidacy differently. She immediately identified strengths in my background that others had overlooked and gave me practical, actionable advice on how to strengthen my profile – months before I had formally committed to working with her. That initial willingness to invest time and energy into helping me, with no expectation of anything in return, spoke volumes about both her character and the way she approaches her clients.
Throughout the process, Melissa was an exceptional partner. She struck the perfect balance between encouragement and honesty: pushing me to pursue opportunities and schools I initially thought were out of reach, while also providing candid feedback whenever I drifted away from the strongest version of my story. Her guidance never felt formulaic. She took the time to genuinely understand me as a person – my background, motivations, goals, and weaknesses – and helped me translate those into applications that felt authentic and personal.
What especially stood out was Melissa’s depth of knowledge across the schools I applied to. She understood the nuances of each program’s culture, values, and admissions priorities, and tailored her advice accordingly. Whether we were discussing essays, interview preparation, school selection, or long-term career positioning, I always felt like I was receiving thoughtful and highly informed guidance.
Melissa was consistently organized, responsive, prepared, and deeply invested in my success. At every stage of the process, I felt like I had someone fully in my corner who genuinely cared about helping me achieve my goals.
In the end, I was admitted to Wharton, my dream school, where I will be matriculating this fall. I can confidently say that I would not be in this position without Melissa’s guidance and support. I cannot recommend her highly enough to anyone navigating the MBA admissions process.
Buying Melissa’s three school package was quite literally the best money I’ve ever spent in my life.
If you’re looking for a great MBA coach, look no further. From the moment I started working with Susan, I felt like I had a true partner throughout the entire process. Applying to business school comes with both incredible highs and challenging lows, and Susan helped me stay grounded, focused, and committed to tackling one step at a time.
What I appreciated most was the time she invested in truly understanding my story – what made my background unique, how to position my experiences effectively, and where the biggest obstacles to a compelling application would be. Rather than offering generic advice, she tailored her guidance to me and helped craft a strategy that was effective and manageable while working a stressful full-time job.
As a former athlete, I especially valued that Susan always told me what I needed to hear, not simply what I wanted to hear. Her candid feedback, high standards, and thoughtful coaching pushed me to improve every aspect of my application and ultimately helped me earn admission to several top MBA programs.
Even when we adjusted our strategy along the way, Susan consistently instilled confidence, provided valuable perspective, and helped me focus on the bigger picture. I am incredibly grateful for her support throughout this journey and know she is someone I will stay connected with for years to come.
Working with Gavriella throughout my MBA application process was truly one of the biggest blessings of this journey. As a very non-traditional applicant working as an elementary educator, I initially felt overwhelmed navigating the MBA admissions world, but her guidance and encouragement made such a difference for me. From essay feedback and resume edits to helping me think through school selection, she was incredibly generous with her time and always thoughtful in her advice. What stood out most to me was how genuinely invested she was in helping me succeed. From our very first connection, she provided detailed guidance through email, and when I asked if we could also meet virtually, she enthusiastically agreed to meet with me that same day. She continued working with me pro bono to support me as a public school teacher, yet consistently showed up with so much care and thoughtful feedback. So many of my essay drafts were reviewed until I felt confident in my final applications. I’m incredibly grateful to share that I was admitted to Duke Fuqua and Cornell Johnson. I cannot thank Gavriella enough for her support, and I truly believe applicants, especially those from non-traditional backgrounds, would be in GREAT hands working with her.
Jen was an incredible coach throughout my MBA admissions process. She was thoughtful, insightful, and invested in helping me succeed. She was always easy to coordinate with and brought much value during brainstorming sessions, helping me shape a compelling narrative for my applications. Her interview prep was outstanding; she accurately predicted the style and substance of my interviews, which made me feel confident and prepared going in. I’d highly recommend her to anyone navigating the MBA admissions journey.
I highly recommend working with mbaMission and with Christine specifically. Christine made one of the most stressful processes of my life feel manageable. She is incredibly detail-oriented and responsive, keeping track of every requirement across five applications while always making time for my questions. More than logistics, she pushed me to dig deeper into my own story, asking the hard questions that made my application feel cohesive and authentically mine. I’m heading to my top choice, and I genuinely couldn’t have done it without her.
I worked with Jen on 3 MBA applications. She was instrumental in supporting me to identify the right story I wanted to tell with my applications. Additionally, i could not have done the applications without Jen’s help structuring and refining my essays. She gave me to confidence to press submit and know that I was putting my best foot forward.
I was referred to Melissa by someone in my network, and working with her ended up being one of the best decisions I made during the MBA application process. From our very first conversation, I could tell how deeply knowledgeable and experienced she was, not only from her years at mbaMission, but also from her background working in business school admissions and attending business school herself. She understands the process from every angle, and that perspective was incredibly valuable throughout my journey.
One of the most impactful parts of working with Melissa was our early brainstorming sessions. She helped me clarify my story, identify the strongest themes in my background, and approach my essays with much more confidence and direction. Her feedback was always thoughtful, strategic, and incredibly prompt. No matter how busy things got, she consistently made herself available for phone calls and Zoom conversations whenever I wanted to talk through ideas or refine an angle.
What stood out most to me was how supportive and encouraging Melissa was throughout the process. Coming from a slightly less traditional background, I sometimes questioned whether my profile would resonate at the very top MBA programs. Melissa never doubted me. She genuinely believed in my story, helped me see the strengths in my experiences, and gave me the confidence to present myself authentically and ambitiously. That support made a huge difference during such a high-stakes and often stressful process.
On top of all of that, Melissa was simply a pleasure to work with. She brought positive energy, honesty, and warmth to every interaction, which made the process feel far less overwhelming and much more enjoyable.
I’m incredibly grateful for her guidance and thrilled with the outcome of going to my dream school. I truly could not recommend Melissa more highly.
I cannot recommend Katy Lewis highly enough.
Katy was an incredible partner throughout my MBA application journey and played a meaningful role in helping me achieve one of my biggest goals: admission to my dream school, MIT Sloan. From the beginning, she helped me bring structure, clarity, and confidence to a process that often felt vague, ambiguous, and emotionally overwhelming.
What stood out most was Katy’s ability to help me stay calm and grounded. MBA admissions can be unpredictable, and there were many moments where I found myself overthinking, second-guessing, or trying to make sense of limited information. Katy consistently helped me step back, focus on what I could control, and approach each stage with a clear plan. She balanced honesty with encouragement in a way that made me feel supported but also pushed to present the strongest version of myself.
She helped me refine my story, communicate my leadership experiences with greater clarity, and connect my professional background in healthcare technology to my long-term goals. Just as importantly, she helped me believe that my path was compelling and worthy of the schools I was pursuing.
Katy brought both strategic insight and genuine care to the process. I always felt that she was invested not just in my application outcome, but in my confidence, mindset, and growth along the way. I am deeply grateful for her guidance and support, and I would enthusiastically recommend her to anyone navigating the MBA admissions process.
Working with Gavi was one of the best decisions I’ve made through this whole process. I came to her with a non-traditional background and what felt like a complicated story to tell, and I needed a consultant who could help me weave those threads into a coherent, compelling narrative.
The application work itself was excellent. My CV and essays got noticeably sharper with her input, she has a way of tightening your language and clarifying your positioning without ever making it sound less like you. With essays especially, she helped me connect the dots between different parts of my career, so every application told a unified story but still felt tailored to the specific school. Interview prep was rigorous, and by the end I actually felt prepared rather than rehearsed.
The results followed: admits from multiple schools I applied to, and the freedom to actually choose where to go. I’ll be heading to one of my top business school choices this fall.
But honestly, when I look back on the past year, what I’m most grateful for has very little to do with applications. The MBA process is draining in a way I didn’t expect; it’s an emotional roller coaster, and it forces you to introspect about your life in ways most people aren’t ready for. Gavi was the steady hand through all of it. She built my confidence in moments I didn’t have much, asked the kind of questions that made me articulate motivations I’d only half thought about, and pushed me to think past the applications themselves toward what I actually want my life and career to look like. More than an admissions consultant, she’s a real coach.
If you’re considering working with her, do it. She’s sharp, generous, and she genuinely cares about your application and about you.
Thank you, Gavi!
I had a great experience working with Gavy throughout the application process. She had an excellent grasp of the overall application timeline and strategy, which made the entire process feel structured and manageable. Communication was always incredibly clear, from her thought process to the way she expressed feedback and refined ideas. Her clear thinking, clear communication, and precise language made our writing process highly efficient and genuinely enjoyable!
Without her support, I honestly do not think I would have been able to produce essays at this level. Beyond simply improving my applications, she helped me better understand who I am, what truly motivates me, and where my passions lie. More importantly, she helped me strategically think through my long-term career path and future direction. I am deeply grateful for her guidance and would highly recommend her to anyone applying to business school.
Working with Jen as my admissions consultant was one of the best decisions I made during my application process. Among her many professional strengths, three stood out in particular:
1. Attention to detail: Jen had a sharp eye for both big-picture improvements and subtle refinements. She’d often bring up school-specific pointers or anecdotes which I’d told her about during the essay brainstorming phase which could further elevate a very good essay or interview answer to an excellent one. 2. Approachability: Jen was quick to turn around essay drafts and respond to questions, and she encouraged brainstorming ideas over calls. Her feedback was constructive without being overwhelming, and her positive and encouraging nature made it very easy for me to build a strong rapport with her. 3. Global school-specific knowledge: This was one of the biggest pros of working with Jen. Her school-specific insights about programs in the US and Europe were extremely impressive. She really helped me showcase my fit with schools in different parts of the world while staying authentic to my story.
Jen played a key role in helping me land 4 acceptances, including one at an M7 school (with scholarship). She was instrumental in helping me translate my quantifiable achievements into compelling essays and clearly articulate my professional impact during interviews. She’s organized, approachable, and knows how to bring out the best in an applicant based on their story. Her positive demeanor made it very easy for me to collaborate with her, and her vast experience working with applicants across both U.S. and international programs adds valuable global perspective, enabling her to guide candidates effectively across different cultures.
I’d strongly recommend working with Jen as your admissions consultant!
Working with Melissa Blakeslee was hands-down the best decision I made during my MBA application journey. I applied to three schools this past cycle — Columbia Business School, Duke Fuqua, and UT Austin McCombs — and was admitted to all three, with scholarship offers from Duke and Texas. This fall, I’ll be heading to CBS, which was my dream school and very much a reach for me. I genuinely don’t think that outcome would have been possible without Melissa in my corner.
What stood out to me from day one was Melissa’s communication. She was unbelievably responsive — emails were almost always answered within hours, and she made herself available whenever I needed to talk something through. The MBA application process can feel isolating and overwhelming, but Melissa’s consistency and accessibility made it feel manageable. I never once felt like I was waiting on her or wondering what the next step should be.
Her strategic thinking is where she really shines. Early on, I was struggling with the GRE, and rather than just push me to keep grinding away at it, Melissa took a step back and looked at the bigger picture. Based on the schools I was targeting, she suggested I pivot to the Executive Assessment (EA). That single recommendation was a game-changer — it played to my strengths and freed up bandwidth to focus on the parts of my application where I could really differentiate myself. It’s a perfect example of how Melissa doesn’t just follow a template; she tailors her advice to each client’s specific situation and target schools.
CBS was always my top choice, but on paper it was a stretch. When I expressed some hesitation about even applying, Melissa encouraged me to go for it. She believed in my story and helped me articulate why CBS was the right fit in a way that was authentic and compelling. Her interview prep was equally strong — she ran thorough mock interviews, gave me sharp, actionable feedback, and made sure I walked in feeling confident and prepared.
Beyond her expertise, Melissa is just a genuinely kind, thoughtful, and encouraging person to work with. She celebrated the wins with me and helped me stay grounded through the stressful moments. If you’re considering working with a consultant for your MBA applications, I cannot recommend Melissa highly enough. She combines deep knowledge of the process with real strategic insight and an unwavering commitment to her clients. I’ll forever be grateful for her guidance!
Cat was something else. She truly cared about me and believed in me from the start despite me coming from an unconventional business sector, still needing to do my GMAT, and starting to apply for Round Two in early December to M7s only. Being in a hurry and having doubts towards the effectiveness of hiring a consultant, I found signing up for a free consultation with her very useful. Transparency, honesty, and flexibility were a must for me, and she had them all, and to me it is fundamental when you pay an expensive hourly service like hers. It was worth every penny, not only because she was able to guide me and calm my nerves, but also her editing never twisted the personality of my voice, but just made it more appealing and concrete. Per my request, she didn’t waste time on my strengths and her constructive feedback enabled me to never make the same mistake in my writing, thus fostering budget savings and constant improvement. Cat’s international perspective and deep knowledge of the US, Europe and Asia was another added value to have her understanding my needs and wants quickly as an international applicant. I got an interview in most of the 5 M7 schools I applied to. We did not leave anything to chance in our mocks because she was able to get to know the people behind the process and prepare mock interviews based on the specific identity of each interviewer and business school. In the end, I got into my #1 choice, the GSB, and I couldn’t be happier. If you have high aspirations and high expectations, Cat is the consultant you want.
I reached out to Gavriella just two days before the Round 1 application deadline, knowing I would instead aim for Round 2. That gave me roughly three months to prepare for multiple GRE attempts while simultaneously writing essays and completing applications for four universities.
During this period, I was also moving continents and navigating major personal life changes, all while continuing my full-time job as a tech consultant. It was an incredibly overwhelming phase, but thankfully, things clicked for me within the 30 minutes of my first consultation with Gavriella.
One thing I learned very quickly is that MBA applications require an immense amount of deep, honest reflection and rigorous iteration. Gavriella’s reflective questions were incredibly effective in helping me uncover stories and patterns from both my recent and distant past, reminding me of strengths, qualities, motivations, and even weaknesses that I had not fully articulated myself before.
What I appreciated most was that she created a space where I could be fully honest. She was willing to listen to and read through the real, messy, and sometimes uncomfortable parts of my experiences without trying to force them into a polished template too early.
Over time, she helped me identify the authentic themes that truly connected my story across all my applications. We went through multiple iterations of essays until they felt coherent, seamless, and genuinely representative of who I am. She also has access to a fantastic network of colleagues whose additional perspectives and consultations occasionally shifted the direction of our thinking entirely, ultimately making the applications much stronger and more cohesive.
I already had an overwhelming amount on my plate during those months, but Gavriella brought structure, clarity, and calmness to the process. Thanks to her guidance, I was ultimately admitted to my top-choice programs, and I genuinely do not think I could have navigated this process the same way without her support!
I could not recommend Gavriella highly enough. I was looking not only for someone to help me with my application strategy, but also for someone who truly understood my non-traditional international background. Working with Gavriella turned out to be more than I could have wished for – the process was structured and clear, I felt supported every step of the way, she gave honest feedback, and she was there with me through the waiting period too. I got into my target M7 and I give a lot of credit to working with Gavriella. My essays captured the essence of who I am within the word limits – she has a real talent for helping you find and shape your own story. She is also incredibly responsive and always replied very quickly. If you are looking for a consultant who will truly get you – look no further.
Harold gave me relevant feedback on my essays, and useful tips for the overall process. The interview prep was something else, he not only prepared me for difficult questions, but gave me a confidence boost in this very stressful part of the process. That made a real difference. He is not your average MBA consultant, you can tell he cares about you. He constantly follows up to see how things are going, and goes above and beyond to maximize your chances of success. He also hosts the MBA Mission podcast, which in my opinion is the best free source of content online. I ended up being admitted to multiple programa, and he even offered to connect me with other clients to help me make the best decision. Harold was very important in my admission process and I’m very thankful for his help. I recommend him to anyone who not only needs expertise but also a friendly coach. I would strongly recommend getting the full package to maximize your experience.
Working with Jessica was one of the best investments I made during the MBA admissions process. Applying to programs like Sloan School of Management and HBS felt overwhelming at first, especially because my background in private banking and family office strategy is somewhat niche and difficult to explain in a compelling, differentiated way. Jessica helped me translate years of complex work into a clear and authentic story that actually reflected who I am.
What stood out most was her ability to push beyond generic MBA “branding” advice. She challenged me to articulate not only what I had accomplished, but why it mattered.
Jessica was also incredibly strong at balancing encouragement with honest feedback. She knew when an essay sounded overly polished, too corporate, or disconnected emotionally, and she pushed me to be more reflective and specific without losing my voice. I especially appreciated how collaborative the process felt.
I would strongly recommend Jessica to anyone applying to top MBA programs, especially candidates with unconventional stories or highly nuanced professional backgrounds. She has a rare ability to identify what makes someone genuinely distinctive and help them communicate it with clarity and confidence.
Working with Susan during my MBA application process was incredibly valuable. In just a month and a half, she helped me bring structure and clarity to my applications at a time that felt very overwhelming. She guided me in identifying the right stories for my essays, helped me think strategically about which test to take, and provided thoughtful feedback throughout the process. What I appreciated most was her support during stressful moments. Preparing interviews with her was also extremely helpful, her insights made a real difference in how I presented myself. I’m very grateful for her guidance and would highly recommend her to anyone navigating the MBA admissions process.
