An MBA graduate of Harvard Business School, Adam has helped applicants with diverse backgrounds, including many pursuing a career change to finance, gain admission to top-tier business schools. His professional background includes investment banking at Morgan Stanley working with healthcare, consumer and technology clients in the U.S., Europe and the Middle East. Previously, as an Officer in the United States Navy, Adam served in the White House as an Aide to the President and in the Pentagon working on naval foreign policy. He was also deployed to Iraq and Japan. Adam has co-led several nonprofits, including Hope for Education Ghana. In addition to his MBA, he earned a master of arts degree in global security studies from Johns Hopkins University and a bachelor of science degree in economics from the United States Naval Academy.
When everyone claims to be “the leading MBA admissions company,” do words matter anymore? Who are you supposed to believe?
To be frank, we don’t pay a ton of attention to the field. Our objective can be summed up in one word: “Win.”
We don’t mess around. Our temperament comes from––in all candor––age and experience and enormous success. We keep a lower profile than others, but that’s part of our story. Our word of mouth from former clients is so powerful, we have the luxury to remain focused on the work, rather than on promoting ourselves. (As future business people, just think about how cool that is.) We’re able to dedicate all our time to helping our clients win by getting into elite business schools, and setting them up for success well beyond. If that kind of professional formula sounds like a good match for what you’re all about, come meet us. Let’s find out if we’ll click.
A lot of firms sport elite former Adcoms. And elite MBAs. And eye-popping stats and success and reviews. So…
Yes. If we were in your shoes, our eyes would glaze over, too. But you’ll do your due diligence––and we encourage it. Picking the right coach is important. In the end, you’ll have a strong sense of who’s for real and who’s all flair but no substance. Who offers a sincere, intelligent assessment versus who will prey on your anxiety. Our advice: put together a shortlist of firms, and go meet as many as you need. Get a feel. If you’re truly top MBA material, we’re confident you’ll recognize the unmistakable signature of experience, excellence and sincerity. In your bones.
Cool, but what’s The MBA Exchange’s… thing? What, if anything, makes your firm different?
[*As you get older and wiser, you start to realize how important this is, and more interestingly… how rare. Our M.O. at The MBA Exchange since our inception has been to only invite not just the smartest and most accomplished professionals onto our team, but also only those people who are genuinely “good eggs.” People we genuinely like. People we find to be mature and dependable and committed to others’ success. It may seem like a strange differentiator to call out, but honestly, that’s the one that may matter most at the end of the day.]
We offer three different packages to accommodate individuals with different needs and budgets. Our Gold and Platinum packages include everything under the sun: deep strategic guidance plus comprehensive essay development, along with all the supporting elements such as interview prep, resume and LOR support, and unlimited access to your MBA consultant. We also offer a more economical Silver package (starting at $3,450) for those who prefer a more targeted experience: deep strategy plus essay development (and the flexibility to add on any individual elements as needed).

I am going back for an executive program specifically focused on healthcare management. I had a dream school in mind at the outset, and frankly, I had tunnel vision in the direction of that school. As Adam took me through his and MBA Exchange’s process, I was forced to do two things: 1) clarify exactly why I was pursuing a graduate degree and THIS program specifically, and 2) perform real due diligence on the program I was applying to.
These two activities revealed a real disconnect between the program I had been gravitating towards and my ultimate goals–which I never would have uncovered if not for Adam’s rigorous and structured approach. But that’s only half the story. Much more importantly, this same approach helped me identify the program which fits me PERFECTLY–and armed me with the exact language to tell the admission committee WHY that’s true,
So I got accepted at Columbia, and that’s a huge win. But thinking long term, this experience has helped me be a better decision maker and clearer self-advocate, putting me on a strategic path to reaching my career goals. And for that, I will always owe Adam and MBA Exchange a debt of gratitude.
Adam worked with me for MPP and MPA schools and I received admits from 7 out of the 8 schools I applied for. He took out time every day to clarify doubts, edit essays, and improvise my CV. Before working with him, I was sure that I could do this all by myself. But he gave me so much to work on – which made me reflect a lot on my past experiences, goals, and what I desired from grad school. I don’t think this could have been possible without him. I received merit scholarships to all programs and I cannot be happier with MBAExchange’s service.
Adam was a great asset during the application process for my MBA. He really knew how to push me to bring out the very best of my experiences to make my application stand out and not let me settle for mediocrity. Adam really gave his time and was timely in his replies. If your thinking about using a consultant for help in your application process, request Adam. You won’t regret it!
