Anthony has been the absolute best through my MBA application process. With Anthony, I was able to get accepted into Wharton and I couldn’t have done it without him. He was truly KEY and pivotal in helping me craft my narrative and have a successful MBA application process. When I decided to apply to MBA programs, I only had two weeks until the deadline. I wasn’t sure if I could pull it off, but Anthony made it possible. He immediately set up time with me to understand not just my MBA goals but also my short term/long term career goals. He was extremely focused and set up a plan to tackle all my app requirements in the best way possible. His optimism and energy throughout the whole process helped me stay on track and kept me going through it all. He was able to help me craft the strongest narrative. When I sent him drafts, he was extremely prompt in his response time and in his editing. Whenever I was doubting myself or had concerns, I was able to voice them to him without feeling judged or like I was overthinking. He addressed all my questions with thoughtful responses and a path forward every time. When interview season came, he helped me come up with a game plan for my interview approach and gave me super helpful advice on things to do/not to do. All the advice and help he gave me was instrumental to the success of my application.
Anthony was awesome! I applied the year before and was rejected. I worked with Anthony and he help me craft a winning application. I was invited for an interview and then accepted this year! I couldn’t have done it without him!
I am extremely grateful for Anthony’s help with my admission to The Wharton School at UPenn. As a former admissions officer, he had incredible insights into the process and offered advice that ultimately helped me get accepted into my dream school. Anthony was highly responsive throughout the process and very accommodating of my hectic work schedule. As someone who did not have the strongest grades or test scores, the essays and interview were especially important, and Anthony’s guidance proved invaluable for both.
Anthony was an absolutely excellent guide as I was working on my MBA application for The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Having an ex-admissions officer to work with me took my positivity to the next level. I truly could not have asked for someone better to guide me.
I was going through a personally challenging phase and sickness, as a consequence of which I found myself working on my application too close to the deadline. Despite my requests in the last days, Anthony was always available even at odd hours and was super accommodating of my schedule. His positive encouragement helped me keep going despite the tight schedule.
His guidance and feedback was incredibly precious, valuable and absolutely excellent through the application process. It helped take care of the subtle details which make the difference.
Ahead of my interview, the guidance I received from Anthony was by far the best, he being the co-designer of Wharton’s new interview format. It helped me steer clear and eliminate a lot of widely circulating misguidance to which students often fall prey to. I reviewed written content, podcasts and booklet resources created by Anthony and they were brilliant.
I also did a mock group interview with Anthony and highly benefitted from his personalized overnight post-mock feedback as well as in-meet guidance. Anthony’s guidance to my last minute queries just a few hours ahead of my interview was magical to receive. It was a blessing to have some trusted to ask questions in the last few hours before the interview which can be especially stressful otherwise.
I was blessed to be working with Anthony and will always be grateful for his support through this phase!
Anthony was fantastic and very prompt in his responses. He was thorough and worked diligently on a tight timeline to give me advice which ultimately helped me get into Wharton. He was also kind and supportive while giving frank advice. I would highly recommend working with Anthony.
There is not enough appreciation, thankfulness and words to describe how I feel after working with Anthony. I keep saying he was an angel that joined me in my application journey. Even though I only purchased the 5 hours package, he made it work! He understood what I wanted to portray on my application and made sure I was doing it correctly. At the same time, he made sure we were using the hours efficiently to achieve all I needed in those 5 hours. Anthony is super responsive and communicative. I highly recommend Anthony. He will keep you one track not only in the applications but also mentally (as this process is full of opinions). I applied to 4 universities and got into 3/4 with a scholarship in one of them.
In 2023, I purchased 5 hours of services from Stacy Blackman, and I was assigned to work with Anthony. After I was rejected from my top choices in my first year, Anthony supported me complementarily in my second attempt and greatly contributed to my admissions to Wharton, Columbia, and Tuck in 2024. (pls note I didn’t retake GRE/GMAT)
My experience with Anthony couldn’t be better. I believe he connects with you not only at a consultant level but at a personal level and you can feel his genuine care about you achieving your goals. His expertise in MBA admissions (especially for Wharton) is deep and he has a great eye for what should be done and what shouldn’t be. This makes him an incredible tactical and strategic asset while writing essays, prepping for interviews, or through the application process/communications with AdCom. Furthermore, Anthony is quite accommodating with tight deadlines and always super responsive (even over the weekends). Overall, if you’re aiming for Wharton and need support from a consultant, I can’t think of a better consultant than Anthony.
Anthony did a great job helping me prepare for my MBA application. As a former adcom officer, he’s super familiar with the overall process and can help to design your plan from the very first step. Also, his expertise in reviewing essays can help you identify points to improve and give you some perspectives, to begin with. He also helped me to prepare for the interview. He mentioned important points and advise specific suggestions based on the school. Overall he did a great job!
Anthony was a phenomenal resource, coach, and partner throughout my application, I wouldn’t have gotten into Wharton without him. I worked with Anthony as a re-applicant, specifically a ding analysis, a Mock TBD, and some ad-hoc coaching hours.
On the application deliverables, Anthony had strong recommendations for strategy and positioning. His years of experience showed in the way that we refocused my story from my previous application to the readmitted application that ultimately got me in. His experience was evident when we discussed application round strategy. I received some candid advice from a current AdCom about pushing my applications to R2, however given my fit with Wharton Anthony advised against it and I decided to listen to Anthony. I don’t think I would have been as competitive in R2.
Outside of the deliverables, Anthony was the exact type of coach I was looking for. I wanted a coach who was in my corner from day one, and from my first ding analysis, I always felt like Anthony genuinely believed I would be a good fit for the Wharton program. He showed that through his very quick replies when I would ask about the letter of recommendation positioning or even just a quick pep talk about getting through the tough application cycle. It always felt that my application mattered to him as much as it did to me.
Ultimately, if you and Anthony are the right fit as a client and consultant, there’s nobody better to have in your corner. With Anthony’s help I was admitted to Wharton with a scholarship!
I found Anthony after looking for consultants who have experience specifically at the Wharton Admission Committee. After looking at Anthony’s credentials, I was compelled that he would be able to address all my questions. With Anthony, we had a first strategy session, after which I was able to come up with a first draft; after that, we had countless back-and-forth of rewriting, paraphrasing, cutting – and after more than 10 iterations my essays were ready to go. Surely there was nothing left from my first draft 😀 Other than that, Anthony advised very in-detail on application strategy, positioning, which pool I will go into, how the pools compete, what is the logic of AdCom, and many other insights which I found super useful. Surely, Anthony also checked my CV until it is totally polished and flawless, advised my recommenders, helped with some fill-in forms and even advised on emailing AdCom. All the prep culminated in the last-minute questions from me on the deadline day, and Anthony was still available all the time via his iPhone. Even when he was going on vacation, he still answered my relatively silly questions within 15 minutes. That was very helpful. After I got invited to Wharton TBD, I also signed up for Mock TBD with Anthony, and his guidance prior to that was very useful. Overall, Anthony was instrumental in my admission process. The only improvement point I wanted to share is that I wish Anthony was more strict and tougher on the essay content. I am paying not for proofreading/grammar check (even though surely it’s very important), but for a logic/flow/story check, so I would have appreciated more brutal comments when something needed to be re-written. Anyway, Anthony was my guiding star and I would like to recommend him to anybody thinking about Wharton.
