Company Information

When everyone claims to be “the leading MBA admissions company,” do words matter anymore? Who are you supposed to believe?

To be frank, we don’t pay a ton of attention to the field. Our objective can be summed up in one word: “Win.”

We don’t mess around. Our temperament comes from––in all candor––age and experience and enormous success. We keep a lower profile than others, but that’s part of our story. Our word of mouth from former clients is so powerful, we have the luxury to remain focused on the work, rather than on promoting ourselves. (As future business people, just think about how cool that is.) We’re able to dedicate all our time to helping our clients win by getting into elite business schools, and setting them up for success well beyond. If that kind of professional formula sounds like a good match for what you’re all about, come meet us. Let’s find out if we’ll click.

A lot of firms sport elite former Adcoms. And elite MBAs. And eye-popping stats and success and reviews. So…

Yes. If we were in your shoes, our eyes would glaze over, too. But you’ll do your due diligence––and we encourage it. Picking the right coach is important. In the end, you’ll have a strong sense of who’s for real and who’s all flair but no substance. Who offers a sincere, intelligent assessment versus who will prey on your anxiety. Our advice: put together a shortlist of firms, and go meet as many as you need. Get a feel. If you’re truly top MBA material, we’re confident you’ll recognize the unmistakable signature of experience, excellence and sincerity. In your bones.

Cool, but what’s The MBA Exchange’s… thing? What, if anything, makes your firm different?

  • A self-assuredness and focus that comes from experience and a roster of true professionals.
  • No bullsh*t. [Caring? Yes. Determined? Yes. Coddling? Not so much.]
  • Genuinely good, smart, decent, solid people.*

[*As you get older and wiser, you start to realize how important this is, and more interestingly… how rare. Our M.O. at The MBA Exchange since our inception has been to only invite not just the smartest and most accomplished professionals onto our team, but also only those people who are genuinely “good eggs.” People we genuinely like. People we find to be mature and dependable and committed to others’ success. It may seem like a strange differentiator to call out, but honestly, that’s the one that may matter most at the end of the day.]

  • Dan Went Above And Beyond
Dan is knowledgeable, personable, and an incredible resource to have throughout the application process. He did not simply answer my questions - he told me which questions I should be asking. Dan broke down the process into manageable portions and helped me craft a narrative using my life experience and goals, create impactful essays, and adjust my resume to be more appropriate for the programs I was applying to. Beyond that, he gave me multiple things I could do on my own to improve my candidacy quickly and helped me prepare for follow-up interviews with the admissions committee. I could tell throughout the process that he understands how stressful it is for the candidate. He kept in mind important dates & deadlines, and always made time to speak ...

  • Very Helpful and Attentive
Daniel was a great asset to have during my application process. He was very attentive and knowledgeable and approached every aspect of the application in a well thought out and structured manner. Whether it was answering my questions or reviewing my work, Daniel was also always able to respond within 24 hours (usually less). As someone who was working full time while applying, having Daniel on my side definitely helped me complete everything before the deadline, including helping me produce a great resume and essay and reduce my stress levels.

  • Great, perceptive and responsive
Having Daniel as a resource and a guide throughout the application process was excellent. He assessed areas in which my application and story were lacking and provided concrete steps to work towards to strengthen my candidacy. For any strengths, he assisted in refining my story and helping me present myself in the best light. Moreover, he was a great sounding board and made himself available be it for narrowing my target school list, reviewing my application materials or conducting a mock interview. He was very responsive to my questions and always provided comments on any deliverables promptly. Daniel kept me on schedule to meet the deadlines throughout the application process and also provided insight on how certain aspects of my candidacy may be viewed. I was ...

  • The Best
Daniel is a tremendous resource, a perceptive adviser, and an exceptional guide to the MBA admissions process. I can confidently recommend him in the highest regard. As a nontraditional applicant coming from a professional background with little in the way of a "path" to an elite business school, I needed all the help I could get -- and Daniel was exactly the person I needed to guide me through the process. He's patient, understanding, and perceptive; through his guidance, I created a great application I felt confident in. He's amazingly responsive, too. Having him in my corner was key to getting in to the business school of my choice.

  • Great!
I have nothing but great things to say about my experience working with Daniel. As a nontraditional applicant, I had very little knowledge going into the process… Daniel helped guide me through my school search, profile development, resume writing and the application and interview process. He was knowledgeable, patient and extremely responsive, even responding to emails on Christmas eve (...sorry!!). I can very honestly say that my application was much stronger thanks to his help… Not to mention far less painful to pull together... I would highly recommend enlisting his help if you can get it. Didn’t test him to see if he’s conversant in French, but I believe him.

  • Incredibly helpful
Daniel was incredibly helpful as a consultant. I started rather late in the process which made an already hectic process more so. Daniel tailored the timeline to work with me, and provided measured and professional guidance that are necessary during this process. I always received responses within 24 hours and usually sooner. He was always willing to work on items big and small: follow up emails to admissions officers, outlining essays, reviewing essays, and to interview prep. Daniel was helpful, incredibly measured, insightful, and very realistic the entire way.
