I had a very disappointing prior MBA admissions round where I was rejected without interview from 5 schools. My motivation was at an all time low. However, in 2022, I decided to give another attempt at GRE and approached Fortuna Admissions. The MBA application journey seemed extremely daunting and overwhelming as I needed help figuring out where to start. I decided to talk to consultants to find someone who deeply understood my journey to help craft a meaningful essay. After talking to a few consultants, I knew within the first 20 minutes of my call with Jenifer that she was the person I wanted to work with, and I told her immediately on the call.

I had many hurdles to overcome and reframe to help piece it all together, and Jenifer helped me focus on the most important aspects to really pull my story together. While I was applying to European MBA schools, I started looking for the help of consultants as I wanted to polish my essays (I am an international student) and get the proper guidance along the process of applying to the schools. I cannot recommend Jennifer enough. I reached out to her pretty late in my application process, but she was ready to dive in immediately! I worked with Jenifer on my applications to 2 leading schools in the UK and I must say that I was really satisfied with her services. If you are serious about maximizing your chances at any leading business school, then Jenifer is a must-have on your team. Jenifer’s strengths are:

(a) She will push you (and that’s a great thing!): This is by-far her biggest strength. During my applications, Jenifer gave me a lot of advice that felt like more work. She stress-tested each line in each material I gave her, and she never let even the smallest detail go unaddressed. While this means that you will work harder at your application, it also means that the quality of your application will be that much better. I could see that I was able to articulate my story much better because of Jenifer’s constant focus on refining my material to bring out the key message clearly. And it was hard work as well, but Jenifer’s ability to communicate her advice with empathy meant that I was always assured that the extra efforts were worth it.

(b) She will go above and beyond for you: I reached out to Jenifer just a month before the deadline for my target school. It was obviously very tight, but over the next one month, Jenifer ensured a 100% record in turning around materials within 24 hours, even on weekends. I wouldn’t have been able to submit my applications in time. Had it not been for Jenifer’s support, I do not think I would have been able to meet the deadline.

(c) Jenifer is straightforward: Last but not the least, Jenifer will not shy away from pointing out deficiencies in your material. And that’s the sign of someone who cares about your success.

I struggled a lot when I was not able to crack the GMAT and apply in round 1, but her belief and faith in me and my capabilities kept me going, eventually resulting in me getting a 700+ score and an admit. She completely understood my aspirations and goals and even believed in what I wanted to do in my life and that was really important for me as it made working with her so effortless. To start off: I got into my first choice school! M7 school, and I’ll be starting this fall!
My background: I’m an Asian engineer with a low undergraduate GPA. I did well on the GMAT, but I had some serious disconnects in my story. I was having some real real trouble putting my essays together, as well as a complete application.
I applied to 3 schools, and each application was more daunting than the one before. The word limits were too constraining in my opinion. How was I supposed to fit my entire life story into 500-1000 words? How was I supposed to stand-out from the rest of the crowd? What should I even write about? What makes me special?
