Consultant Bio

My background includes 5+ years as an MBA admissions director at Washington University in St. Louis and 5+ years in corporate talent development. My 20+ total years of experience are nearly all in leadership roles. I’ve won national awards for excellence in communication, and I leverage 8+ years of experience as a professional editor when I review applicants’ resumes, essays, and other application materials.

I’ve successfully coached graduate and undergraduate students, rising leaders, mid-career professionals, and career-switchers. I hold certifications for career coaching and leadership coaching, and my work has also spanned leadership communication, presentation skills, professional presence, team-building and conflict management.

I’ve given presentations on MBA admissions on college campuses and at professional events both domestic and international, to audiences ranging from five to more than 500.

I have an MBA from WashU’s Olin Business School and was academically ranked 12th in my class.

I’ve coached more than 200 clients to a 99% acceptance rate to one or more of their top-choice programs, along with over $2.9 million in scholarships.

In working with me, you’re not just working with someone who went to a good b-school and maybe was involved in admissions as a student; you work with someone who had professional responsibility for an MBA program’s admissions, metrics, the class profile, etc.
