Consultant Bio

While I don’t like to describe myself as one of the oldest MBA admissions consultants around, I am very proud of the fact that my company, Accepted, is definitely one of the oldest and most experienced consultancies in the world. I founded Accepted in 1994 and established our outpost on the then infant Internet in 1996. Since 1996, Accepted has grown to be a leader in the field, an admissions consultancy with 19 consultants, who bring decades of consulting and admissions experience to their work with you, the applicant. We work with clients from around the world and have one consultant based in Israel, another based in Germany, and a third who spends significant amounts of time in China. So whether you are in Mexico or Mongolia, Australia or Alaska, you can work with an expert Accepted consultant.

Company Information

I am the co-author of MBA Admission for Smarties, the co-founder and first president of the Association of International Graduate Admissions Consultants, and the host of a growing, popular podcast on admissions called Admissions Smart Talk. In the course of my career, I have hosted over 300 online chats with MBA admissions directors and interviewed many others for our podcast.

Our staff is outstanding. We have former admissions directors, published authors, and consultants who have been with Accepted for almost 20 years.

I am particularly proud that a major source of our growth has always been word-of-mouth.

Menu of Services and Associated Costs

We offer comprehensive application packages as well as flat-rate and hourly options for essay editing, interview prep, resumes, and waitlist guidance. You can also start on a flat-rate basis and then for later work switch to hourly. Plus we encourage new clients to start with a small purchase, like one hour, and then if they like us, purchase more or upgrade.

  • Grateful for Accepted
I cannot thank Accepted enough for their help and guidance with my MBA applications. This company strengthened my application as a whole, especially with reworking my resume, and I have been accepted into my first choice business school and dream program. My wonderful tutor took the time to listen to me and sorted through my brainstorming during the initial stages - She then helped me to understand my motive behind pursuing graduate school and how to articulate it best to others (and through my application). I could not have completed my applications without Accepted - I'm forever grateful for finding this easy-to-work-with, friendly, and intelligent company and will definitely pass their name along.
