Shari Deluryea

I worked with Shari on my Emory application, and it was a fantastic period. I would like to highlight her knowledge of schools, obviously influenced by the fact that she is also an alumni, and how well we understand each other in getting the job done right. That´s something unique among GBS graduates which I´m proud to be part of.

I reached out to Shari and Jennifer after a friend suggested I look into using Stratus. I was initially hesitant given the cost, but it was truly worth every penny. Shari was incredibly helpful during the application and interview process, and she was very responsive to all of my questions (there were many)! I found out about Stratus through Forté’s MBALaunch program and after having a 30-minute consultant with Susan, I knew I wanted to work with Stratus right away. From there I decided to do the 5hr standard package and work with Shari for my R2 applications. Shari was awesome to work with from the start to finish! She helped me to stay on track with picking out the right schools for me, what to highlight on my essays, giving me essay revisions, and guiding me in my interviews with B-schools. I actually ended up adding a few more hours with Shari outside of my standard package! Thanks to Shari and Stratus, I will be attending Johnson this fall! 🙂

I worked with Shari on my application to INSEAD, Cambridge, Oxford, and Duke. I reached out to Stratus, Jennifer, and Shari on a Thursday. I was prepping for my Wharton TBD and realized I needed some extra help. Jennifer and Shari last-minute accommodated me in a Wharton TBD simulation with 5 other prospective students that next morning.
The simulation felt like the real thing. Afterward, Shari provided a 1:1 interview and feedback session. She had critiques on some things I could work on before my real TBD to improve my performance. I left the session feeling extremely confident and competent; I was ready for the real day. I have not heard back from Wharton, but I am excited to find out how I had done!

I purchased a 5hr package and worked with Shari for RD2 applications for 3x programs while on a very tight timeline coinciding with the holiday season. Shari proofed at least three versions of each essay for every program, helped refine my “Why an MBA story,” and extracted the best examples from my past to highlight for admissions teams. I am happy to announce that I was admitted to my first and second choice programs with Scholarship money offered at both!

I was fortunate enough to win free consulting hours from Stratus and I was placed under Shari back in 2019. I do not even know where to start! I wanted to apply to IE Business School’s MBA and I had 30 days to apply. Well, Shari helped me every step of the application process, even given such a tight window. She helped me see things that I hadn’t even thought of. She helped me rephrase parts of my story in a way that was so beautiful and cohesive! Also, she gave excellent interview tips. I worked with Shari through round 1 apps on an hourly basis for a 5-hour package. We were able to complete the essays (3) for my first school under time and had about 45 minutes left for a mock interview and feedback, which was super helpful.

Shari was responsive and I got a quick turnaround on all my materials. I was looking to get 5 apps submitted in a month, including the one I worked on with her. I appreciated the fact that she was willing to work with me last minute and keep pace so I could get my apps in on time. Shari was very helpful in helping me to scope, refine, and edit the initial draft of my individual essay for Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business. After we got the individual essay to a near-finished product, Shari also provided valuable advice on my Georgetown video essay topic and subsequent outline. Overall, Stratus has a very strong brand and professional approach compared to other MBA Admissions consultants that I’ve seen. In addition, Shari was great to work with – she was prompt, clear, and direct, helping me use the limited time together efficiently. I would recommend working with Shari for hourly services or a comprehensive school package from Stratus.

I first met Shari while a part of the Fortè MBAlaunch program in Atlanta last spring. Shari was interested in my goals and assisting me with the application process for the MBA programs I was interested in. She went above and beyond to help me get back on track. She recognized my strengths and sympathized with my struggles and hardships. She knew how serious I was about getting an MBA so she made sure I submitted all my applications. She was my cheerleader and my biggest support system. She always motivated me and helped me push through my limitations and challenges. She had more confidence in my abilities than I ever did. If it were not for Shari’s unwavering support and guidance, I would not have submitted a single application. Therefore, I am extremely grateful to Shari for sticking by me and for rooting for me. Shari is kind, honest, and hard-working. She cares a lot about her counselees and wants them to succeed in life. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone seeking help with MBA admissions.
