I’ve always wanted to dedicate my life to positively impacting others but have struggled to identify the best way to do so. As the climate crisis continues to worsen, I’ve decided that I want to help companies harness the power of the private sector to bolster renewable energy growth and cut carbon emissions.

I’ve run nearly all the operations side of my father’s acupuncture practice since I was a child – he’s the only employee and speaks little English, while my mother speaks basic English and never attended college. During the pandemic, our landlord tried to intimidate my parents into agreeing to a rent spike that I negotiated us out of.

I hope to either land a strategy role at a renewable energy company, continue consulting and develop a focus in renewables, or join/found a cleantech startup.
