Grew up in a humble, not financially strong background; could not afford air travel. I saved through part-time work since high school for my flying training, got into the country’s most prestigious training institution with scholarship. So the first time I sat in an airplane was in the pilot’s seat. I became Captain under a rigorous upgrade program with (changing airplane type and upgrading as captain). Helped my company with fuel-saving strategies for cost reduction along with the reduction of carbon footprint.
