There is so much exciting going on in education with changes happening at a much faster pace than normal due to Covid – ripe for disruption. It sounds like you have a strong personal connection to education, so make sure that comes out. HBS will also want to see examples of your leadership – so highlight how you have led teams, projects, budgets, programs. They will want to see you have been a leading outside of work as well – what impact have you had in your Advisory Board role? I would suggest expanding your school list beyond HBS. Look at other schools that are going to value your long term interest in education. Consider Columbia (see the Tamer Center), Yale, Tuck, Darden.
