Hi, it’s Jennifer Jackson from Stratus Admissions. You’re not giving us much to work with in your profile here but I’d say MIT would be a huge stretch for you. Have you only had 1.5 years of full-time work experience? The average is about 4-5 years at matriculation, so I’d encourage you to wait a couple of years before applying. Also the GMAT is under the average at Sloan, and you can’t mitigate it with your GPA since that’s on the lower side at under 3.0. You certainly had a challenging major, and you might have some explanation as to why the GPA is lower, so I’d encourage you to put that in the optional essay (worked during college, poor time management, etc.).
