Being a doctor is definitely a different path to an MBA but one that makes sense when you want to make an impact in healthcare from a different angle. From what you’ve written here it’s hard to tell what that impact is, but I’m guessing that you want to invest in companies that you feel will be game-changers in some aspect of healthcare. The key will be to very explicit about your Why MBA. Schools don’t like degree collectors, so whether someone has another master’s, or a JD or MD, I would suggest that they do a lot of thinking behind the impact they want to make and why the MBA is the only degree that will …
