It is helpful for you to have a civil engineering background in your desire to focus more on consulting with a sustainability focus post MBA. Given that you have been with your current company for over 8 years, be sure to highlight your specific promotions and accomplishments to date as well as your motivation to deciding now to get an MBA. I can see Ross as a great option for you. I also think you will present well at the other schools you are considering including Darden, Fuqua, McCombs and McDonough. You should also consider Yale SOM, Kellogg and Sloan. Sloan could be a good fit given your engineering background and I also think you might like Kellogg, Yale or even Booth. In all your applications it will be helpful to share a bit more information about what is motivating you to make the MBA leap now after almost 9 years with the same company as I suspect that is a question many admissions officers would like to see answered in your application.
