Goal is to leverage the Columbia’s network, brand, and curriculum to return to my current firm, gain experience as a manager (promotion post-MBA), and subsequently launch a business (strong idea in mind, prefer not to share) within two years after graduation.

Assessing the odds for a candidate to any highly selective MBA program is never foolproof. That’s largely because in general 80% of a school’s applicant pool is fully qualified to attend and do well in these programs, given the self-selecting nature of elite admissions. Nonetheless, I have to just come out and say it: You should be golden at Columbia, particularly because you are applying from an MBB for January admission. The accelerated MBA program at CBS accepts a higher percentage of candidates than the August intake. Your strong credentials and accomplishments push your odds among the highest I would ever award. Enjoy New York!
