Hi Mr. Finance Musician, what an interesting combination of left and right brain you have in your finance and music interests. This is Donna Bauman with Stratus Admissions and I can see you being a great fit at Booth. When I visited with the Booth admissions team one summer as part of my involvement with the Association of International Graduate Admissions Consultants (AIGAC), I recall Booth saying they are looking for people who are interested in rigorous inquiry and have a love for learning; a Booth student is bug-eyed for knowledge. You noted statistics and machine learning as areas where you want to dive deeper and Booth can help you do that. You can design the curriculum that suits your interests and I can see you thriving at Booth. I also think you should do your due diligence and consider Kellogg as well. I was accepted at both Booth and Kellogg. While I attended Kellogg, I have coached many people to successful outcomes at both schools and I think you are wise to give both of these outstanding programs strong consideration.
