Big Life Wins:

I made the jump to private equity from a consulting firm that historically had very low placement rates. Headhunters told me I likely wouldn’t be able to make the jump because of my lack of experience on due diligence projects, but I worked hard to develop an investors skillset and placed at one of my top choice funds.
At my firm I was the lead associate on a sell-side process that led to the most successful return in the history of the firm.

Post MBA Goal:

I would like to continue a career in private equity investing with the goal of eventually launching my own fund. I also hope to continue to give back through my community by helping under-privileged youth gain access to the support and mentorship they need as they navigate important life decisions.
