I’ve been an avid fisherman since age 3. Growing up in Washington, DC, access to areas to fish was limited due to pollution and habitat degradation. I chose to major in environmental science so I could ensure others in my situation get the same opportunity to experience the outdoors for years to come.

Serving on 15 person committee that granted 3 $2000 awards to members of staff and faculty that showed outstanding service to the community.
Post MBA Goal:
At UNC, I’ll join the bass fishing club. Using connections from fishing club and my MBA program, I intend to exit into a marketing role for an outdoors company. Think BPS, Dicks, Yeti. 10 years from then, I will leverage these outdoors industry connections to start a non-profit focused on ensuring access to the outdoors and fishing for children.
