Candidate:

Mr. Infantry Officer To MBA

About Me:

I am an Infantry Officer with 10 years of experience transitioning from the Army in order to pursue an MBA. Quant is my weakness as I have not utilized heavy quant processes in my career field, although people are my expertise and so are getting results. I believe I can offset some of that with my background in order to gain admittance to a top 25 business school.

Big Life Wins:

My big life win was hitting every goal I had in pursuit of my Army Officer career by being a Distinguished Military Graduate selected for the competitive Infantry field, graduating from Ranger School. Then being able to utilize my skills to lead soldiers over 3 deployments in 3 different company leadership positions safely. It was the greatest honor.

Post MBA Goal:

My desired outcome of an MBA is to have the confidence to succeed in the drastic career pivot in a technology field leveraging my experience and MBA skills. Ideally having recruited into a tech program/product management role. Personally, my family has more predictability and my spouse is able to continue to thrive in her career and education.
