    Hi, it's Jennifer Jackson from Stratus Admissions. You have a strong GMAT and I like that you've taken the extra quant courses to supplement your transcript with the lower GPA -- that is exactly what schools will want to see since they'll wonder a) if you can handle the rigor of the program and b) if you'll dedicate the time and effort needed. Having good, recent grades plus explaining in an optional essay why you had that lower GPA will help. Sometimes it's a family difficulty, an illness or tragedy, and sometimes it's as simple as you were young and didn't properly prioritize your studies.     Mr. Leading Edge Family Business - thanks for posting your profile. Susan here from Stratus. I like the steps that you have taken to direct adcom attention away from your lackluster undergrad. Your work seems unique and meaningful though I'm wondering if you might have done something else for a few years. Most 29 year olds have more than 5 years of work experience. There may be more to the story, perhaps serving in the military before going to UCLA? Your commitment to social impact will resonate with Ross, Fuqua and Yale.
