The good news is the schools will look at your profile holistically, and not make a decision simply based on one data point (your GMAT). Although your GMAT is slightly lower than the Stern average, AdCom will also look at your work experience (which is robust), and extracurriculars (which looks solid).     Hi, it’s Jennifer Jackson from Stratus Admissions. When you called yourself Mr. Low GMAT I was expecting something much lower than 690! Yes, that is lower than the average at many schools and you are competing within a very competitive demographic, but you are much more than that score and have an impressive profile otherwise. The good news is that NYU is a bit more score-agnostic than other schools. I do recommend re-taking it though if even to show them that you’ve tried again.
