Mr. Low GPA Urban Farmer – Thanks for posting your profile! Susan here from Stratus. I spent ~10 years reviewing applications at Duke Fuqua – about half of it specifically focused on Indian applicants.

While your background seems very interesting and you clearly have achieved some wins through work, the combination of a sub 3.0 GPA and a sub 700 GMAT put you at a significant disadvantage in the very competitive Indian subpool at Fuqua. You need to get your GMAT up to 730+ to get some looks.

Also, take the time to really think about the impact that you want to make. TONS of Indian candidates list their short-term goal as consulting. Give it some more thought. Perhaps your goals could align more closely with the …

Perhaps your goals could align more closely with the professional experiences you have to date and your personal interests (urban gardening)?

Your changes are better at Tepper, Goizueta and Scheller. If consulting is your goal, you may want to look at University of Minnesota.
