– Was part of the main deal team for what is now one of the largest tech exists in the region. – Single handedly developed the intern and new hire training program for my VC firm, which is still in use today 5 years later. – Overall, I’m proud I was able to get into VC/GE and MBB given I didn’t really have the typical background for either.
Return to my firm as VP and continue to invest in growth equity deals in the Gulf. Long-term, I’d like to build my own firm that backs entrepreneurs from Seed to IPO.
That, or a search fund route.

This is a really compelling profile. The MBB/VC combo in the Middle East puts you in rare company in any elite MBA applicant pool. Your numbers are pretty much on target, even if your undergrad GPA is a tad below the class average at Kellogg. It should not matter, however, because you bring valuable insights into a classroom given your experience in the Middle East, an area of increasing importance in the global economy. The fact that you want to return to your current firm is also a plus because Kellogg won’t have to worry bout you gaining immediate employment. Unless you have mediocre recs old come off in an emissions interview as inarticulate, you really should be a shoo-in. Good luck to you!
