The name you selected for yourself gave me a bit of pause and I was curious. I’ve worked with many oil and gas applicants, even a geophysicist, but was unfamiliar with the term. While your stats are right at the averages, your challenge will be to explain WHY you want an MBA and WHY you want to make a move into investment banking.
What you have shared here (which I understand is limited) shows a very one-dimensional profile – all oil, all the time – school, work, publications, patents. Beyond your background in oil, what do you bring to a cohort? Given the price of oil, I suspect that the application pool will …

Your list is all stretch schools. This is not a comment about your profile. Just truth – these schools are selective. If investment banking is your goal, I suggest that you expand your list to include Darden, Kellogg, Cornell and NYU.
