Community leader and positive youth development advocate. I’ve worked for the last three years in collaboration with local community organizations, schools, businesses, and public officials as a representative of the Scouting program for my assigned district territory. I’ve relished in finding common cause with others on behalf of our youth.

Career focus on public service and public interest. My goal is to have a meaningful impact in leadership in state/local government or in a highly-regulated private sector industry (healthcare, education, etc.). Leadership in social impact or sustainability in the private sector are also alternative paths to which I would be open.

Congrats on your acheivements with BSA! As a mother of two Eagle Scouts, I know how much work the organization puts into developing a program to groom future leaders.
Your academic accomplishments at UC Davis are impressive. Unfortunately, your GMAT is well below the average at HBS. I suggest that you consider retaking to get closer to the 730 average.
I’m curious as to why you want to pursue an MBA. Given your background with a non-profit and goals to pursue a role in public service, I wonder why you aren’t considering an MPA or MPP.

It shouldn’t be news to you that HBS only accepts ~10 out of 100 candidates, many of whom are well qualified. I’m not seeing what really unique perspective you would bring to the classroom. I suggest that if you truly want to get an MBA, you broaden your school list. Yale SOM has great curriculum for individuals like you wanting to make an impact at the intersection of business and society. Michigan Ross and Duke Fuqua also have strong resoures around sustainability and social impact.
Wishing you all the best!
Nothing on your profile jumps out and worse you have a low GMAT. Add additional schools on your list.
