I reduced the scrap defect rate for Toyota’s molded foam seat program from 2.68% to 0.75%, resulting in over $170,000 in annual savings. My engineering solutions made further savings possible as I managed to reach the minimum weight and/or density specification for 10 different product codes resulting in over $300,000 in annual chemical savings.
