Looking to transition into M&A IB after the MBA– a lifelong ambition of mine, but wanted to contribute to society in a slightly different way after uni. Would perhaps be open to MBB consulting if GS/MS/JPM IBD roles were unattainable.

I really like your odds at Wharton! Your stats are outstanding (though graduating first class honors from a UK school won’t weigh into the GPA average). The fact that you are pursuing the CFA demonstrates your commitment to finance and will position you well for your proposed transition.
The one area that I’m seeing as a bit on the softer side is leadership or community involvement. Use that time that you have before you submit applications to build this out – ideally with activities that align with your goals. Perhaps you can drive a consulting project for the school/organization through which you teach socially disadvantaged?
