After working for small engineering firms started my own company in 2014, raised some seed money, and made it into national headlines. Company tanked, joined large tech firm in San Diego, still harbor passion for ceramics, frisbee, choir.

    While the glimpse you have offered of your background seems fascinating, I’m giving you odds below average odds at HBS for the following reasons: 1) Soft UG GPA and no test score – you could turn this around by scoring 740+ on the GMAT but absent any info, I can’t assess your ‘analytical aptitude.’ 2) age – at 32 you are well above the average at HBS or any 2 year program for that matter. Adcom will ask why NOW is the right time for you to get an MBA? Why didn’t you apply back in 2014? 3) community engagement/leadership – being president of a club is interesting but it isn’t clear …
