About Me:
I have a genetic disease. For 10 years I needed monthly infusions and I’ve had 6 ER trips due to complications. Overcoming these challenges led me to fitness, and I emerged as a leader. I’ve managing teams of +30, had years of P&L responsibility, and exceeded sales goals along the way. My passion is to create a healthier world through fitness.

Big Life Wins:
Dyslexia has been a challenge in my life. I struggled at the beginning of college to adjust, earning a 1.7 my first semester. You learn a lot from failure. Scoring a 740 on the GMAT has been an expression of overcoming my Dyslexia. I believe that my leadership experience and GMAT score are more accurate predictors of my future success in a program.
Post MBA Goal:
Short term I want to move into management consulting. Long term I plan to eventually exit consulting and a move into a strategy position at a company within the fitness, health and tech space (Ex: Peloton, Fitbit, Mirror or Tonal).

Hi Mr. Vigor,
This is Debbie Choy, Senior Consultant at mbaMission. What a compelling personal story of resilience! I’m also pleased to see that your career background meshes so well with your personal experiences. I like that you have a strong professional trajectory, and are active in your community. I think your GMAT score offsets your GPA. That said, if there were any circumstances that affected your GPA, do consider sharing your side of the story in your applications. Overall, I think you have a lot of strengths in your profile. And I think the unique Fuqua essay of 25 Random Things will allow you to really showcase a lot of personal tidbits, hopefully translating into a good shot at Fuqua. Best wishes for your MBA …
