Hi, it’s Jennifer Jackson from Stratus Admissions. You have a solid GRE and it’s great to have McKinsey on your resume even if it’s only a contract position. I’m only giving you a 5% chance of being admitted to Stern because of your lack of work experience. With an average of 4-5 years, even two years is on the low side although I’ve seen people with very high stats overcome that obstacle. I know this is a really tough year as far as layoffs and uncertainty with so many organizations, and I do think that adcoms will be fairly forgiving of people’s circumstances (i.e. being unemployed), but that in addition to only working for one year is very likely to be a bridge too far, …
